  1. i agree and always slow in built up areas and villages but when your on the open road and there sat in there little van now thats anoying But sitting there in the "little van" generates the pennies Exactly....and there does seem to have been a bit of a fundraising scheme in operation of late. Up our way all the police are under the same governing body - so not separate countys / regions. Now all revenue generated by traffic fines gets funneled back into the police service. Thats fine by me, and its as it should be. Fines raised will go towards better policing etc etc - so crime drops. Emmm, maybe. Cant say I have noticed more police / beat plod around - but the traffic cops defo have better cars! And I'm sure at the annual yearly briefing on budgets - no one mentions go out and generate some easy revenue!!! Before I get shot down in flames - you break the law - you pay the fines. BUT When was the last time anyone saw traffic cops in the rain cracking down on speed (where obviously speeding is even more dangerous in poor weather conditions)? Maybe police up my way are just fair weathered cops. Yeah iv been watching police interceptors and I must say they have upgraded alot since lol
  2. Yeah I was thinking the same fine and course would be like nuts! But if only the course at 80 pounds i think il go sign myself up! Thanks

  4. I went to police station to try pay but they said I can do an Awareness Course? Has anyone else done this? Does it substitute the fine and points? or do you have to pay fine and course? Thanks

  6. Good to see you read the whole post Already changed gearbox oil and added molyslip, and suggesting a new slave cylinder & braided lines will not help it being notchy when cold I'll get my coat.. Ahh its ok I know you were trying to help
  7. Ahh just the man.. I got the fluids and molyslip from your guys at Clark motorsport along with braided hose and slave.. so im assuming they got me the right stuff =) As for air I drained out all the old fluid and refilled and bled till there was no bubbles at all did the old fashion way pumping pedal etc.. so definately no air. =) As for adjustment I will re-adjust today thanks!
  8. Hmmm is this true? http://my350z.com/forum/2003-2009-nissan-350z/165463-wont-shift-into-gear-if-car-is-cold-help.html
  9. Ahh it appears I have over adjusted mine.. I have nearly 7threads pushing through bracket. How many are you guys pushing through?
  10. Also I dont know if its worth mentioning when i press the clutch down it doesnt spring back right to the top theres like 1cm which i can lift the clutch pedal with my foot.
  11. Ok recently over the past few days on cold start it wont go into first or reverse gear, and when it finally does go into 1st second third and everything feels sticky and mechanical. But thereafter when engine is near operating temperature it is as smooth as butter. What could possibly be wrong now? I fitted clutch slave cylinder and braided clutch line. Also the gearoils were recently changed and molyslip added. This gear selection in cold has never happened before. Car has just hit 30000 miles if that means anything. I also regreased the selector with white grease as I thought that was causing the mechanical noise. Its just wierd how it runs fine when warm but cold start it doesnt want to go into any gears?! Could it be that I have over adjusted the clutch and its not releasing properly or something? Advice please
