Ahh just the man.. I got the fluids and molyslip from your guys at Clark motorsport along with braided hose and slave.. so im assuming they got me the right stuff =) As for air I drained out all the old fluid and refilled and bled till there was no bubbles at all did the old fashion way pumping pedal etc.. so definately no air. =) As for adjustment I will re-adjust today thanks!

Ahh it appears I have over adjusted mine.. I have nearly 7threads pushing through bracket. How many are you guys pushing through?

Also I dont know if its worth mentioning when i press the clutch down it doesnt spring back right to the top theres like 1cm which i can lift the clutch pedal with my foot.

Ok recently over the past few days on cold start it wont go into first or reverse gear, and when it finally does go into 1st second third and everything feels sticky and mechanical. But thereafter when engine is near operating temperature it is as smooth as butter. What could possibly be wrong now? I fitted clutch slave cylinder and braided clutch line. Also the gearoils were recently changed and molyslip added. This gear selection in cold has never happened before. Car has just hit 30000 miles if that means anything. I also regreased the selector with white grease as I thought that was causing the mechanical noise. Its just wierd how it runs fine when warm but cold start it doesnt want to go into any gears?! Could it be that I have over adjusted the clutch and its not releasing properly or something? Advice please

Yup as above dont do it lol I had aftermarket lights from the US on my previous car and couldnt see nothing I think it failed mot aswell

I have been watching them the last two auctions sol for just a touch over a hundred the guy sellling them says they are 200cell, but even with berks its not a guaranteed pass. They prob wont sound as nice as the expensive ones but hey if it passes mot why not.

I emailed the guy and he said they were 200cell and also that he doesnt see any reason why they wouldnt pass an mot..

Sorry guys im such an idiot! Iv been adjusting the pedal wrong.. the rod is supposed to come out towards you not in, hence why when i adjusted it the biting point went higher, to the point where it was near the top of the clutch pedal travel and wasnt fully engaging hence slippage. She fine now but feels very oem rather than stage2 though as before it was rather bite or stall with it.

Flywheel was resurfaced, the stage1 I had before I was fecking around alot with it. But this one i havent even wheelspun it once lol

I ordered a Competition stage 2 clutch 1month ago via Clark Motorsport, did the whole bedding in procedure 500 miles then adjust after 750 miles etc. The mechanic that fitted it was the same one that fitted my exedy stage 1 which lasted a year bare in mind 13000 miles. Im sure iv only done about 3000miles and the clutch biting point is basically gone, clutch is slipping I havent even been on track or driven it hard yet?! Is there anything that iv not done? iv checked over the instructions and everything was done. for the first 3weeks biting point was fine if not a little juddery. which is supposed to go away after a while but instead of it going away my biting point is almost a brake level!? Iv read up on other forums having problem with this particular stage2 clutch, has anyone else had this problem or could shed some light on the situation? Thanks Saskhi

Sunlight would be good to see where im bloody turning haha! Yeah should be a good one as we have more people in south wales now..apparently well you were so close to my tail lights, you could hardly fail to find the corners ..................unless I turned quickly, and then you'd have needed flying lessons, 'cos there were some interesting drop offs........ I was drafting to save petrol lol
