  2. it was a risky move but i think it looks not bad with the canards...
  3. just a little update...before I get a new bumper and maybe sideskirts..
  4. Was driving along stuck in traffic and then car slip and vdc light came on... then every other light came on and lost power and everything... I thought hmm must have stalled it somehow... so switched it off and started her up drove fine for 5minutes then same thing again..so chucked the obd reader on and came up with the following codes p1615 (difference of key), p2138 (app sensor), p0158 (ho2s2(b2)) I done some research and it appears to be NATS malfunctioning, the other code I think is pedal sensor, and lastly ob2 sensor. Now i searched for my spare key and will try that tomorrow, I think the pedal sensor may be due to the nats kicking in.. and 02 sensor is due to being sports cat. Question is if my spare key doesnt solve the problem, does anyone know how much Nissan generally charges to reprogram the ecu and keys? or would it be more cost effective to get the car uprevd and have nats disabled... and will having the nats disabled solve the problem?
  5. I am interested and can travel to Worcester as its only an hour and a half away.. only thing is I have V35 and I don't know if its a straight fit, Also my brakes are 2006 jdm brakes they are uprated version of the pre 05 with larger diameter discs and from the forums comparable to the brembo setup.
  6. yeah im sure they emailed me 650 for shipping alone was just wondering if anyone shipping a container over soon that could help me out.
  7. Im trying to source this bumper http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k76/moog177/f5829740.jpg http://www.auto-style.jp/item_img/TOP20241110001.jpg Its Top Secret bumper for the V35 Skyline/ Infiniti G35 the original one is made of Fibreglass but there are urethane copies in the States for it and good ones at that but the only problem is im getting quoted stupid money to ship the bumper over. I was thinking if traders have containers being shipped over regularly could they possibly sort something out with me. Thanks in advance. Also the bumper comes under terminator or ts-1 in some peoples listings. http://www.outcastgarage.com/products/2003-2007-infiniti-g35-coupe-ts-style-poly-urethane-front-bumper http://www.bodykits.com/VIS-Racing/Front-Bumper/Infiniti-G35-2DR-VIS-Racing-Terminator-Front-Bumper-_-Polyurethane-_-03ING352DTM_001P/882947/
  8. Beat me to it. Doesn't need to be VHT. Mine's been Fosus ST orange for a while now, with no discolouration. I done mine to see if it would reduce temp inside plenum as before after longrun plenum was very hot to touch.. whereas now its much cooler. Dunno if it works or not just experimenting http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Thermacure-Satin-Black-High-Temperature-Spray-Paint-400ml-Stove-heat-Resistant-/261775726750?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3cf30c989e Thats similiar to the stuff I used, I just thought theoretically if your plenum is cooler then the air going in would be cooler.
  9. Haha Nice one Iv seen it afew times and my friends have and sent me picture before too! Its a very nice example! Right we need to get a South Wales meet going sometime!
  10. I Just found some satin black High Temperature resistant paint, Then removed my upper and lower plenum gave them a good clean, bath was absolutey minging afterwards lols, then dried and put two coats on. I believe the plenum is not as hot now as before.
  11. Also just a quickie, when under braking seems like my front end dives alot compared to before to the point even under heavy cornering it scrapes the front splitter, also when I go over speedbumps I notice particularly on the rears you can hear the sqssh sound as the shocks tackle the hump, is this normal or are my shocks shot? Any ways of testing?
  12. Sounds like a plan I have been reading up about them apparently there B12 kit pairs them with the Eibach Prokit, Im planning to use them with my stock zed springs as Im already scraping everything as it is
  13. Yeah its on Cowbridge Road West parked up in one of the driveways il try grab a picture of it next time, as for the one in Barry it was on Ebay not long ago for 6500. Which one was Whacky Wills I dont remember what it looks like lol
  14. Are these just dampers to switch for the oem ones? Or do they have adjustments for height and damper settings? I cant read german lol Think im needing new dampers feels like my car is bottoming out alot and very spongy.
  15. One is a Black one with I think green calipers parked in Ely and one is red with big spoiler and carnards just parked near industrial estate past Barry Mcdonalds are yous on here? lol
  16. :scare: Still get some use out of that then! - Pretty much my reaction when I saw it! Never knew the condition of it was that bad, its not like you can easily see it from anywhere easily. I took the bumper off to sort my lights out and noticed this and got a new filter ASAP...I have never seen an air filter in such a disgraceful state in my life! Bl**dy hell. Can you not reroute the filter into a better position? Just seems an odd place for it to be as it's behind the front wheel arch which as you can see has vents in it so no doubt your new filter will go the same way due to water being able to soak it easily. I have mine routed just behind the bumper for my supercharged Zed which should work for you too I'd image. This was what it looked like part way through the build.... Guide here on how to do it ~ Link: http://www.350z-uk.c...air-intake-cai/ I remember back from my Honda days that there is a hydroshield thing you can buy its a cover that goes over your filter that blocks out water but lets in air...
  17. Sorry to hear man My brother is on the look for a Zed and he came across the same car on PH, he showed me the correspondence and in short the guy said he had moved abroad and had left his car to an autotransport company to deal with the sale. My brother questioned me about it and on further enquiry they said we were to make full payment which would go in a bank holding thing and they would ship the car out to our address and if we didnt want the car our money would go back to our account and they would collect the car back. But I said to my brother to ask if we can travel up and see the car but they wouldnt allow it which was hugely suspicious, which questioned did they even have the car in the first place.. with a little more research we found out it was a scam that has been going on for a while now. So luckily we opted out. As said before never part with cash of any sort until you see a car even if its the otherside of UK and started it up for a test drive. Oh and my brother has joined the forum to lookout for Zeds haha. Hope you get your money back... apparently PH knows about this scam but they cant do anything about it.
  18. As its illegal to modify in Hkg I suspect most of them will have to redo there Vehicle Inspection but have to revert them back to standard first...
