Does it do it when you sit on idle and rev it? Mine squeaks even when warmed up. Also can you rock your pulley back n forth? Just wondering. Cause it is way to loud lol

The thing is even when its warmed up it kicks in every so often... just makes me cringe!

I think it might be the bearings cause im thinking ideally they shouldnt be able to budge but i can click it back and forth by half a mm or so.. But the worrying question is if it is the bearing what caused it? Was it my lightweight pulleys or the belt being a tad to stiff. And where the hell do I find a bearing to replace it with lmao.. Its so embarrasing you can hear me a block away like you would an aftermarket exhaust at full wot!

I had squeaking brakes and ordered a set of new pads.. and the squeak disappeared although my old pads had quite a bit left on them. The mechanic said there was alot of dust gathered and he usually just takes his pads out and and cleans them and takes a wire brush to athe calipers etc.. and it goes away

Is there a level to see how much is in it? And is it just bolt on and plug up job?

Theres always something wrong grr! lol Ok I have a loud squeaking coming from the engine bay.. I have determined this by rolling up the windows and noise cant be heard as much. It squeaks on cold starts... Iv checked the tension on my belts and they appear to be fine if anything slightly tighter than should be but nothing too drastic Iv tried spraying wd40 at different pulleys to get rid of the noise. But it still does it when sitting in neutral and revving, however when in first gear and planted it doesnt make a noise. Noise usually squeaks for about 3-5mins and goes away for rest of the journey. When changing my tires I had the mechanic try and pinpoint where the noise was coming from he thinks its from one of the top two pulleys. These pulleys arent oem they are Ams lightweight pulleys. Also the one at the top near the centre of the engine has a little play in it..could this be the cause of all the noise. The thing is when it squeaks its not just a quiet one.. its louder than anything and is very embarassing. It tends to do it when its raining..I dont know if this is a coincidence or not. However if it is the pulley bearing. Will it be the ams pulley that will need replacing or is it the bit that it attaches to? As im sure when I had them out the box there wasnt any bearing or anything on the pulley, it was just a solid piece of metal with no moving parts. Please help me someone.. im at the end of my patience with this car... I cant seem to remember a time it has run perfect lol

False economy mate. Just bite the bullet and get MPSS2's for the rear as well (use your overdraft or credit card). Would hate to read a "crashed into a ditch" thread from you. True I just thought if im going to be messing around I didnt want to be burning expensive rubber.. overdraft it is..

Hey I have just put some mps2 on the front... and now looking for some budget rears anyone got any suggestions... Only reason is iv killed my pay for this month lol but need something on the rears as they are barely legal now.

This may be a stupid question but how do you guys measure what size of spacers you need? are you guys doing it so that theres a lil rubber sticking out or just flush with the arch?

Ahh dammit.. yeh i did apply sent letter and everything.. and they wouldnt accpet my proof of address which delayed the process resulting in more stupid fines

I know what you mean I preferred the G35's front but I tend to like the backsides on cars more than the fronts anyway so not a big deal - getting used to it now. Like I said very generic front but easy to wash I might add, very slinky shape to clean. Haha I hate my front end! Prefer the newer ones.. mine looks like a frog/ Oversized micra frontend! lets swap frontends!haha

I originally looked for G35's but they are all autos and silver so I gave up and looked a bit further afield, then I end up getting an auto but I am converted ! fab box! Modding me - erm no no I like them factory - well maybe..... Tell me about it! Took me months of scouting till I could find a manual!

Ouch... I better get paying then. You know how you get I think 14days to dispute...is that set or can you play dumb and redisbute after they issue you a letter? I have a valid reason for not paying my fine as I moved to a new address and was in process of applying for a parking permit but it took ages and during that time i racked up three of them, I never disputed as I wanted to collect as many as I could before disputing them all at once.. does this seem viable?

But what happens when you dont pay and just ignore it... will it come up on the traffic police car system and you get pulled for unpaid fines?
