  1. Thanks for the heads up. I'm bringing it to an exhaust specialist so if the bolts don't fit hopefully they will have some that will.
  2. Thanks for the tip, must check out Epic Drives. The Audi Le Mans Doc is good - think it's called 'Truth in 24' As for other shows, I'd recommend 'Bloodline'. It's a slow burner at the start but Ben Mendelsohn is just fantastic in it! I really enjoyed Better Call Saul too. I've also started watching 'The Bridge' - it's a Danish / Swedish police detective series. Fully subtitled though.
  3. Thanks for that. The old bolts and nuts on the Cats were too rusted to be re-used to I will use the berk bolts to refit them back in.
  4. Quick question: what is a reasonable labour time for a garage mechanic to swap out decats and re-fit the OEM Catalytic converters? Bolts in place are very new - only fitted for the past 3 months. Thanks in advance.
  5. That is true! I am not complaining, was just more curious!
  6. Hi all, Quick question - when I turn the air con on, one of the radiator fans automatically turns on to the 'high' speed setting. I know that the fan should be turning with the air con on - but should it really be on full blast? Is there any reason for this? I thought the air con fans operate at a low to mid speed - but I could be wrong. Thanks
  7. Check the ARB droplinks.. I had this before. The squeaking was incredibly annoying.
  8. That's exactly what sprung into my head when I read the thread title!
  9. I need something like this!
  10. Just read the last 7 pages. Congrats on the TVR and getting hitched too.
  11. I ran 453s on the rear too. I'm the dry they are great. Had a few hairy moments in the wet though! I think I got about 15k miles out of them and I changed at just under 3mm.
  12. I've just fitted Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3s. So far so good.
  13. If you want to stay standard and want a cheap fix for the time being - the flange can be repair by cutting it out and inserting a new piece of pipe in there. I had this done on mine nearly a year and a half ago and it's been good since.
  14. No prob. delz0r and I are both in Dublin - all we have on offer at the pumps down hear is 95. (I don't know what the story is up in NI and if they get 98 anymore). There are a good few of us running Zs down here and I genuinely haven't heard of any issues with running 95 exclusively. Some of us do track days in Mondello regularly during the summer months. One of the guys has an Azure blue for sale which has 130k miles which has also been ran on 95.
  15. Good to know. Disconnecting the negative terminal I assume - how long should it be roughly disconnected for?
  16. I think the rallycross course is a great idea for the SIARPC section
  17. The latest Mishimoto fan shrouds now come with the correct plus for plug and play fitment We have them in stock if required. That's great to know on the Mishimoto shroud kit... hate having to do any wiring!
  18. I think it's safe to say that these cars do not simply explode when ran on 95
  19. I've been running this car on 95 for the past 2.5 years. And seeing as it's an Irish car probably for the last 8-9 years before that. I drive mine hard at times and no issue. So do not worry!
  20. A desperate 15.70%. If anyone would like to hit the like button on this post I'd much appreciate it
  21. Dirt Rally is fantastic, but ridiculously hard and needs a lot of concentration so I tend not to play it when I've had a long day or not in the best of moods. "Rear right feels a little flat" WILL YOU **** OFF!!! Anyone gonna pick up a copy of Assetto Corsa when it comes out?
  22. If you turn on the air conditioning button does one of the fans turn on? If not: Cooling fan motors failure are a common issue. There is a thread on here about refurbishing them or you can talk to one of the traders on getting a second hand one. Alternatively, Mishimoto do a full shroud with 2 fans which is cheaper than OEM but you will need to do a little wiring work to fit them.
