  1. Just checked and we were both right, I was right in that: In 1978 the company declared bankruptcy. An Italian court was appointed to find a buyer and a Swiss based group called the Mimran brother's were able to save the factory. and you were right in that both the countach and diablo were both after the bankruptcy, so my point is irrelevant.
  2. If you say sticking to "the lambo way" shouldn't they still be selling tractors? At the end of the day, there's a reason they went bust when they were making crazy cars and they haven't when they're making sensible, cool cars.
  3. I could help make a mount grundy, that would literally take minutes. I think I actually already have most of the bits
  4. But there's your problem, the children buying posters aren't the ones buying the cars. They will build a car to sell to their targeted buyers, who used to buy the posters, but have now grown up and become investment bankers, city traders or the ceo of mega corporation. There's a reason Lamborghini will churn out hundreds of thousands of cars a year and pagani will only sell a few thousand. As times move on, so do standards, when the diablo or countach were unveiled I'm sure there were some people saying "God, I wish they built cars like the old supercar manufacturers."
  5. I like it, the lines are like a modern interpretation of the Urraco, to me anyway.
  6. Wouldn't it be worth more if it was used? Even more if pictures were provided of it in use
  7. I have an HKB, it's great, but quite thick.
  8. Tarmac can get the NRG ones? Like this one http://www.thenismoshop.com/NRG-STEERING-WHEEL-SHORT-HUB-350ZG35G37_p_1908.html
  9. Try any of these places, all less than $200. Tarmac Sportz should be able to help with getting them into the UK with minimum fuss for you http://www.modbargains.com/Carbon-Fiber-Air-Ducts-Nissan-370Z.htm http://www.pyspeed.com/Carbon-Fiber-Dual-Air-Ducts-Nissan-370Z-10-up-p/att-ns-0021.htm http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/11-2943 http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/autotecknic-carbon-fiber-dual-air-ducts-nissan-370z-1014-p-150767255.html
  10. I put my car on axle stands on the sills regularly and they're fine, but to be absolutely sure, some wood with a groove in would be a good option
  11. This is truly amazing dude, massive man/intrernet points for you! Could you give a rough breakdown in total costs? (if you don't mind!) and do you have to be particularly clever to do it? Really interested in doing this myself but I've found the whole thing really daunting
  12. Then again, if it's not too hard, then no harm in doing that. I didn't change my master, as I was flat broke at the time, and I've had no issues. Playing it safe, I would change both. Neither is particularly hard
  13. 370Ad, you're a hero, thank you for sorting this for us all. Great day and it's hugely appreciated
  14. Sounds like your slave cylinder has gone. we could change that in 30-40 mins including bleeding afterwards. It's around £70 from euros and I know people will say all euros stuff is rubbish, but I've had one on for a year with no issues
  15. If you can collect from Woking, I have wheels with tyres you can borrow. Or if you pay the postage you can have some wood
  16. Honestly, speak to your insurers. They'll advise what you need to do. I've never heard of someone having to provide their own bits for the fitter.
  17. Sand with something like 1500grit paper I'd say, use plenty of water
  18. I didn't have to provide anything for the swap, had no issues since either?
  19. not classed as a claim with elephant either. I would note though, you have to go through them as if you use someone like autoglass without consulting them first they won't pay out much.
  20. Last year at Japfest, people (no-one here, just in general) and even a few traders started leaving at 3pm, it was really annoying, especially when you went to areas and they were empty!
  21. I'm the first to admit am a hippocrit, as much as I find the concept of getting money for doing nothing (ie: investment) a odd situation, I'm actively looking to put our savings into as profitable investment portfolio as possible....And if I can build up a big enough portfolio to let me retire by 45-50, great. But surely if every did this who's actually going to any real 'work'....Unless you can find cheap labour from near by countries All the people still trying to reach 40-50k savings?
