  3. You know the Mustang suspension set up isn't all that different to the Z right? It's not quite as archaic as the top gear fans would have you believe: Yes, it's less precise and less refined than a Z, but it's not all that bad. Definitely not the leaf springs many people seem to believe still sit in the rear end. Edit: otherwise great write up, really interesting

Pete Damn If they were real racers, they'd race DOWN the hill Probably a bit safer going down as the really big fall offs are on the way up. You would need darn good brakes coming down at speed though, you'd almost certainly boil the fluid on most road cars . Pikes Peak is a road that anyone can drive up for $12 per person, well worth it as the views are quite amazing. The peak itself is at 14,100 feet and when I went in late June a few years ago it was absolutely freezing with fresh snow. Although the drive to the top and back is only around 40 miles there's a sign at the entrance saying "no gas available, do not enter unless you have at least half a tank of gas", yes, its that steep! Pete Maybe I'm missing something, but wouldn't the offs be in the same place if they ran the current course in the opposite direction? Strategically the fastest way down would be with a very large parachute, fast and furious style

  6. personally I'd just photocopy the cover, then cut out the letters as a stencil and use tape to make it all pretty and then spray it. Easy peasy.

  11. you can just see the spiggot on the first pic. So these are straight onto the hub with no spacers fitted. The problem with fitting big arches is that your car is too standard to pull it off. Unless you spend like a grand plus on a big body kid, you may as well then buy the proper size wheels. Did you buy them is a store or ebay?? His car wouldn't be standard with wide arches and wide wheels would it?! edit: yes I know this isn't standard, but it's a decent example of a cool z with bolt on arches
  12. Isn't that just paint in the recess? Use a fine brush and it should look good, or masking tape and a scalpel.

  16. when you installed it did you touch the butterfly valve of the throttle?
  17. you have left the MAF sensor plugged in right? I've seen some of those kits where the MAF gets removed.

  21. This exhaust is awesome, genuinely amazes me. I'll get a range of videos too, drive by, go pro on the boot for an "at exhaust" sound. I'll do one interior one too, but my car is missing most of the interior, so it will be much louder than an all in one piece car
