  1. But that is purely dealer dependant imho. Two friends of mine, brothers, have both recently bought Porsches, one a Cayenne, one a Macan. The guy with the Macan had numerous issues with paint finish and managed to get his money back, the guy with the Cayenne is now entering the legal faze after Porsche not rectifying a seat that keeps breaking and ongoing issues with the infotainment system, both different dealers, although the only reason I believe the guy with the Macan was in a better position is had just bought a new GT4 last year and his name down for a GT3.
  2. I would have the F type over anything mentioned, its just not the sensible option
  3. Wrong. I stand corrected although should have been more specific around that comment
  4. You are aware that the great property of stainless is, its DOESNT rust
  5. And by the looks (and sounds of it), most likely blowing but what do we know
  6. Personally i would be focussing some of your epic diy skills on sorting out the rust
  7. I like a fair bit of sport, so sky is worth it for me, but I think I would struggle to justify the cost just for f1 but I suppose I am just not that avid a fan. The biggest wind up for me with sky is the box office events for anything half decent with boxing.
  8. I just find it odd that a racing driver wants to portray that image, just because his mates are doesnt give him any justification at all. As you say, he can wear what he likes, personally I would prefer to be my own man and not a cliche
  9. Funny really, you would think the last thing he would want to portray is the stereotypical wealthy young black dude with diamonds, gold chains, tatts, hats and odd sunglasses whos "thuggin", your a racing driver, not a rappa
  10. Your right, everyday i read in the news how someone has died from the use of such tyres.... I am certainly not going to big Wanlis up, but really, suggesting people are going to die from such tyres is a bit of hysteria
  11. Just rear buddy, the fronts already have just about enough adjustment std.
  12. Anyone seen the Sky advert for the upcoming F1 season, if you havent it features lots of horses on a race track with the bold statement that, its not a one horse race anymore...... Trying to ignite some interest Sky?? If the first few races follow suit from last year, i can see a lot of "fans" getting very bored, very quick.

  15. I ran a 245 - 275 combo on both my zeds.
  16. My view would be (corrosion aside), unless you are looking at anything thats considerably newer, you may still have the same problems, clutch, tyres, brakes, suspension issues, they are all consumables. I am not sure why you would buy a new w brace, just get the old sand blasted and paint in smoothrite or get powdercoated, cant see it costing more than £50. If the car is structurally sound and you know whats on the horizon (pads maybe clutch) it would seem an odd reason to get out of it.
  17. Yep, lets get back to homologation cars, not silhouette style.
  18. Its tape on the 350z so only leads foam type stuff, best to just buy a caramel wheel
  19. Watched a bit and have to agree it is definitely more interesting, still a bit sterile though and too much non car footage in the programme and however much the cars are awesome, they are still too detached from the real world and by that I mean, when did anyone think, oh I fancy driving a Yaris after seeing one on wrc.
  20. Remove the boot plastic and think from memory its either two or four bolts, the spoiler is also held down with high bond double sided tape, its a two man job but get someone to lift on the spoiler edge and use a plastic trim tool to break the seal, once you have an end going with a friend lifting the spoiler it comes away quite easily. Just always work the plastic trim tool close to the spoiler, not the bootlid.
  21. To me that looks so much like a 488 from side on. I wonder why they their display car in England is lhd.
  22. Or here: www.barryboys.co.uk
  23. But it wont sound like an exhaust, it will sound like a blowing exhaust, worlds apart ffs, but fill your boots, snap as above as I typed. But go for it, perhaps try taking one up the b*m, apparently some people think thats good too
  24. Why do you refuse to believe the 100% who have said it will sound sh*t, it will give you NO bearing on whether louder is better as it in no way will sound anything like a straight through silenced exhaust, from cobra, milltek, invidia etc etc! It will sound like a blowing exhaust, nothing more, nothing less.
