  1. If I ever catch a police camera chase thing on tv, just about every driver they stop is already disqualified from driving, cant afford to pay the fine, obviously not taxed or insured and clearly dont give a s**t, so as ever, all this does is affect the general law abiding citizens like us lot. Focus your attention on the repeat offenders ffs, their the ones costing police time and risking lives...
  2. All the Evos but no Scoobs or Celicas, Silvias, S Bodies. So much to pick from in the 90's early 2000's, but what now, gt86. Dare i say the 370z was/is possibly harmful to the 350z as a natural upgrade and modern alternative and forcing values down? There was many a conversation on the Rx7 forums about the Rx8 putting the nail in the coffin of the rotary, had they not rolled that out, the rotary possibly had a glorious comeback with new tech and better engine life, but it would be a brave man to buy a rotary if something came off the production line now after the travesty of the Rx8, not that it was a bad car, but the engine really needed to be far far better and perhaps there is an interesting stand point, whilst i know the Rx8 was a bit cheaper than a 350 new, they were released at the same time and look where they are price wise!!
  3. ^^ Interesting topic, i remember watching a programme quite some time back about birth rates over the generations, when women like Twiggy were in vogue, birth rates plummeted, when Marylin Monroe, Rachel Welch etc were in fashion, birth rates soured, they proved men are more sexually attracted to women with curves, in general
  4. Just be yourself, if you dont like who you are, how do you expect anyone else to, confidence is very attractive to the opposite sex, but be warned, there is a thin line between confidence and arrogance
  5. ^^^^ You are too harsh on yourself there and the average male, personality counts for a huge amount, you may be a buff adonis like character but if your about as interesting to talk to as a jelly, you will soon get discarded too, there is someone out there for everyone and like all the happy married boys on here, when you meet her you will wonder what all the "dating" and "relationship" fuss was about.
  6. To be fair thats another one, the Supra, i know there are a lot of Supra fanbois on here, but if you have ever driven one, they arent all that in std trim, i have to be honest, i would prefer a zed and yes i have had 2 both twin turbos before anyone says, one auto (hideous thing) one manual
  7. Lets face it, all model plastics are sh*t, personally i think its splitting hairs to say the later interiors are significantly better, for circa £200 you can transform the interior (paint consul, add some dash covering), personally i thought mine looked a million times better than an hr.
  8. There are some crazy prices out there if you go looking, personally cant get my head around s2000's being £10k, double the price of a not bad condition 350, not a chance
  9. All those lovely lovely wheels painted black so you cant see em, bizarre
  10. The problem is once they dip into a certain budget they become "affordable" and almost disposable, people often leap in thinking, its in my budget but they give no thought to how much they can cost to maintain, I.e clutches, tyres and they then often fall into disrepair and are worth more in parts, they start to attract "that" audience, I have seen it a number of times, rx7, scoobies etc I really dont see that with the zed yet though, if Payco managed to get 10k plus for a rev up, no matter how nice an example it was, I think the market is still there and sound. Echoing docs comments to, i think they are standing up pretty well, but they are last of an era, baring the 370 what has come out of Japan since the 350?
  11. You will never really make either de, rev up or hr any "faster" than the other with just bolts on, so its purely down to preference of which one you prefer to start with.
  12. About as close as you will get, not really many options which is the point I am trying to get across.
  13. Well its actually November and a completely different meaning surrounding mens health etc
  14. You mean March 14th? No I mean March 8th, today, its not confusing That really is weak mate. You're coming across as someone who just really doesn't like women. Personally, I think they're great. Sarcasm filter not working
  15. Dan says everything was as cheap to own as his zed....until it goes wrong, then expect to grip your ankles, lets put it like this, if you want a 400hp + sports coupe (awaits the 350z isnt a sports car), its going to cost a fair bit more than a charged zed in every aspect.
  16. Well it is international womens day, so lets show them some love, sure they will do the same on international mans day, oh hang on...........
  17. He is saying Manchester is a sh*thole (tongue in cheek), whats the confusion?
  18. Chuck a £1500 wrap into the mix and your still ahead of the game buddy
  19. ^^^ yep exactly the same here, 30k plus was my next figure, the only reason I sold mine was my requirements had changed, would still have it today if they hadnt. I still wouldnt pump 15k plus into a zed though, just buy one done, unless you really really want that journey of doing it yourself
  20. Why would you suggest that, I didnt loose any reliability along with many others on here, its still the same engine so same service costs, bar supercharger belts and if like me you go for a larger sump, a couple more litres of oil. Ekona raises a good point, what could or would you buy with circa 11k to 12k that you could buy a charged zed for, there was nothing that took my fancy with circa 400hp unless you want a german luxo barge that is going to cost a fortune if it goes wrong or a big Jag, same applies.
  21. Needing forged internals and another 10k 400+ flywheel is plenty enough
  22. I'd bet once passed 60 it would wipe the floor with it. what the Zed or the CTR? the CTR. Once into 3rd gear and got traction it would sail past a 350 with ease. Absolutely the zed wouldn't see which way the CTR went , they are a match for a supercharged 370z as Nissanman312 found out in his old car , they are properly quick. Comparing cars on 0-60 works well in Top Trumps but is not a useful guide in real world performance Look at how it compared on the ring back in 2015, this new one is meant to be even quicker 7:50 2016 Honda Civic Type R 7:50 BMW M3 CSL 7:50 2009 Porsche 911 Carerra S 7:52 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 7:54 Mercedes CLK DTM AMG 7:54 Nissan GT-R 7:54 997 Porsche 911 Turbo 7:54 (.36) Renault Megane RS 275 7:55 Caterham R500 Superlight 7:55 Ferrari F430 F1 7:56 C5 Corvette Z06 7:56 996 generation Porsche 911 Turbo 7:56 Porsche Panamera Turbo http://www.autoguide...at-around-the-n And i would have every single one of the those below the Type R before the Type R and there area few Porsches in there and i really dont like them. Thought the GTR was 7.24?
  23. I think from here its pretty fair to say there doesnt seem to be many reliability issues as long as you are sensible with hp, around 400hp flywheel
  24. I have owned a std and supercharged, i was never disappointed with the std car i should get that out the way first, i really enjoyed it, but after a year or so i just fancied having a bit more get up and go. The problem was, i could never justify spending the money to have it converted, so unless yours is unique, i would be looking to buy something already charged and sell yours. I guess the only way i can put it is, it takes what is already a very enjoyable car, to a whole different level, if you didnt like it, i would be shocked, if you like the car, you will love a charged one. I suppose its also worth mentioning, i noticed no ill effects either, chassis could easily cope with the output, grip was fine and it drove pretty dam close to std, i,e traffic, drive to work etc
