There is a set of 19" lmgt4 on ebay at the moment, £700 start bid.

Well, not much seems to have changed, I watched the season preview on bt sport, pretty good although I did fast forward through neil hodgson part Qualifying seemed the same, just with Huewen in place of Moody. Pleased to report Melanie Sykes is looking good, older but good and looks like she has had a couple of large new additions Some other chats with people in the know, Toseland, Bird etc, look forward to race day! P.s the Esperagro brothers are quick

The Maclaren P1 uses Akebono brakes, hopefully thats enough testament

I dont think I could agree the handling is poor, they are very precise to drive, but as someone else mentions they would be at the bottom of the list to own one! Whoever mentioned the only person who buys one only does because they cant afford a 911 is on the money, well certainly round my way, I have had two mates openly admit they would have 911's if they could afford them, being they wanted current models. One of said friends bought a brand new Boxster S, £42k, around 03 ish, for months he went on about how fast it was, handling, flat 6 noise etc, coupled with the usual its much faster than my jap hairdryer (rx7 stage 1 tunning), 8 months in we all went on a golf trip down in Devon, a few cars went inc him and me, suffice to say I never heard a peep out of him about his Boxster again

Keep looking at V2's and cant work out whether i like them or not, on some cars they look awesome, on others not so

"But why Vettel's RB10 was the sole Red Bull hit with problems remains a mystery to team boss Christian Horner." I wonder if last year was a mystery too when Webbers car had numerous issues? I am not sure if anyone is in the know, but was the fia sensor causing running issues, or just inaccurate?
-
I am not really sure what you mean by standard spacers but I would hazard a guess Stevo is on the money and the centres have been put in the wrong barrels, possibly. If the fronts fit with spacers and the rears stick to far out, it would certainly explain the issues. If you take the wheels off only (nothing else) and photo front and rear hub, hopefully we can get to the bottom of the problem.

Where did you get the Bride floor mats, handbrake and gear knob gaitor from? There is a set for sale on driftworks buddy

These are on ebay, pretty lightweight and if the damaged wheel isnt repairable there is a pair of 9" wide for sale on driftworks cheap. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Used-18-Prodrive-alloys-wheels-5x114-3-Nissan-Skyline-GTR-R33-R32-R34/291105299336?_trksid=p2045573.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D16581%26meid%3D5576633881384028764%26pid%3D100033%26prg%3D7839%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D201054988278%26

We are difficult bunch to please arent we We want fast cars, well they are up on last years top speed, we want less aero, we got it, but that results in them being slower through the corners, a number of times on commentary at Oz the mentioned the left hand kink that last year was taken flat, but this year its a corner. We want all the top drivers competing at the front, imho, probably 1/3rd or 1/2th of the grid of capable of winning in the right car and most of all, we want, excitement!! Personally i think thats the key word, excitement and excitement means respectively an element of danger. Look at the good old days of group b, rallyings hayday in regard to popularity. If you ask me why, people knew it was dangerous! While no one wants to see anyone die, we all love to see a good crash or driver on the edge of control pushing for either a position on track or to beat a time. I am afraid to say, we will never see it again in F1 because of the measures to keep the drivers safe, which of course is good. The modern tracks are so safe it would have to take a freak accident to see anything beyond a car driving off into a car park size run off area and rejoin without even a bit of gravel to get rid of. Points on licences, race bans, grid penalties etc etc Lets face it, its not really racing any more, its as mentioned above, a theatre performance, its an industry and showcase of who can make the best car and manage to land the best driver to do a "job" for them. The drivers are groomed to perfection by pr people, they are calm and collected and say the right things for the "audience"! They arent to allowed to be emotive about things, they arent allowed to race, hell, last year they werent even allowed to push 100% and will be the same this year due to fuel consumption. Hence why i love bike racing, it still has an element of danger, if they get it wrong, they are either hitting the deck or trying navigate through a ton of gravel to get back in the race, not just swoop round some lovely tarmac and rejoin maybe loosing a position or two at best!

First round this weekend So, lets get some predictions out there: Marquez Pedrosa wait for it Rossi third

Noticed these buddy, not cheap but a very light wheel http://www.ebay.co.u...=item3cdd41623c

P.s Still staggered that if operating right these things run 3.5 bar!!!!!!!!
-
He did do a good job, really impressed and hope he can keep up the front in future races. But to what advantage did the fuel flow give him, sure it wasnt his fault, but if his car wasnt on a level playing field, his position comes into question doesnt it? Perhaps this goes back to what Ekona says, all cars should be checked before the race start, but how would you know it hasnt been tinkered with after, i am presuming it was only the podium position cars that are checked?

Fitted today whilst the others come off for a spruce up and possible sale once i can make up my mind about what route i want to go down! I have never driven the 350 with anything but 19's, i knew some light 18's would change the feel but really impressed with the difference, almost feels like a different car, cant wait to get on track now

This is one part of the sport i really dont get, what is the point of such strict parameters, you could even semi agree with giving them the max fuel capacity and say go get on with it, but strict limits on the flow? I wonder if Vettels car was the same, being that we have been told the cars are identical, you would have to guess so and it also begs the question, i cant see anyone getting it wrong, so are Redbull deliberately cheating?
-
I wonder if it was Vettel that told them
-
Interesting and not so interesting, still someone way off in the lead which never really looked to be under threat. The burning question for me would have been, would Vettel have been able to beat his team mate, impressive performance from the number 2 and Magnusson.

Good work, as Lexx says, get something like this to look after them http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Poorboys-World-Car-Wheel-Sealant-2-FREE-APPLICATOR-PADS-/281212414760?_trksid=p2054897.l4275

I have come from a high hp Rx7 and it was blistering fast, but, apart from the turbo kick it was lighter and no where near as solidly built so you always knew what speed you were doing and how fast it got there. I have always been surprised when i look at the speedo, no matter how un dramatically it seems to get there i have always been going a fair bit faster than i thought i was. I guess its down to the fact as mentioned the power delivery is very linear and you are cocooned in a nice and comfy, solid, well built car which if you have the window up is relatively quiet.

Or on the other hand, they have no idea it will last race distance, behave on worn tyres, will the ers work etc etc
