After a few recent threads relating to colour/comments/looks, i thought it would be interesting to see, if you could have your 350 any colour, including non oem options, what would you go for? I think we already know Keysers answer I would be torn between a very dark grey or white

No difference in shapes with regard to noise or performance, it will just be the inside dimensions that differ so that alters the amount of wadding/packing to absorb the sound, more area means quieter and yes wants to be straight through. Often ovals are used just to fit into a space where perhaps height is limited but width not. Would be impossible to tell you what size will give you the results you need. I would say start with the biggest as thats the most you will ever reduce the noise by, if its too quiet, try again, if its still too loud, well your going to have to change back box.

30 mins is quite a way to ask a favour buddy, but i really appreciate the offer. I have had both on varying cars and imho once you have set your height on coilovers you will never touch it, same goes for dampening really, so unless you plan on adjusting height and dampening on a regular basis I would just go springs

One of the best looking and sounding cars on the road imho especially for the money they are going for these days! Shame they are a little off the pace compared to ze german counterparts, but still, much prefer to own one than an R8 for example no matter how much better they perform etc

From what i have read of late there is no such thing as "global warming" any more, it is now referred to as a "climate change", as apparently the temperatures are dropping, not much, but dropping. Sadly for each bit of info you read to the positive, you read the same to the negative so all depends which side of the camp you sit on. I would say how you generate electricity, coupled with the problems surrounding batteries and their construction and disposal (all not at environmentally friendly) is exactly the argument, but again, a topic for another day. Sadly whatever is the truth, you can be sure as hell climate change is not going away, its a multi million pound industry. Green taxes (cough) and suggestions like altering the speed limit are just another way to generate revenue and grind the motorist into the ground. I have no real issue putting fuel into my car, it brings me pleasure, same with my jet ski. However, i thoroughly object to being taxed to the hilt to get out and do a honest days work, sadly i have no choice in my job, only for the tax/duty i pay to get p*****d away on.............again another topic i am sure!

Do you not like being American, lol, i would have thought info like this is readily available on the US forums and at least the prices will be accurate, seems very odd to want to ask what options we have in an other country. USA is generally way more advanced than this small isle, try getting wheels chromed or copper plated here for example Completely no offence intended but nothing we say can help imho

Glad someone else saw it and the slo mo is fantastic, two wheel drift anyone. So interesting listening to some of the commentators, particularly ex racers. Found it curious they were discussing his crashes in qualifying last year and that he is literally testing the limits, once he reaches it, he bins it, but knows what he can get away with come the race. Same in this qualifying, instantly quick and then just proceeded to try different lines, braking a metre or two later, squaring corners off etc to see if he could gain more time!! Taking nothing away from watching the other fast riders, but often it looks boring, this is just exciting to watch! I always remember Huewen saying he would pay to just watch Stoner ride round by himself.

Did anyone catch qualifying??? Marquez properly tucking the front, foot off the peg, front wheel chattering and bouncing, saved it on his knee/elbow, but still hit the apex ish and managed a lap 1/4 of a second faster than anyone else!!!!!!

I do like a white Zed The wheels work very well, not sure the canards complement the overall look though Have you flared your rear arches?

Personally I think its very colour dependant, I have never been short of nice comments about mine and thats in an area where super cars are common, I have seen 4 different 458's this week alone for example. A set of lowering springs and some alloys and the zed is transformed too imho

We have a winner, lol I have to admit I was a bit concerned buying from Japan but got a lot of reassurance from friends who have bought from him over the years he has been in business. Process was pretty simple, sent him the money and they are on route and a tracking number supplied, should be here within 1 to 2 weeks. Hate the chrome, but its not a problem to get it removed and the centres painted so will update with the results. Seems pretty hard to get some nice size decent 19's over here so didnt really have much choice unless I was hopefull and patient something would come up or wait for someone like jdmdistro to source something specific which again could take ages!

Shock of the weekend, Hodgson put on his leathers and did a lap talk through, he didnt even fall off.......... He did run on though Dont think he made an excuse about the bike either

Be wary, although i have fitted this style of converter to many other imports and not had a problem it was a different story with my 350z. When i originally bought the car it had already had one of these installed and the speedo would register and flicker when stationary, usually 7 - 15mph, sometimes more, occasionally up to over 100 mph. When your registering 100 mph stationary the mileage soon mounts up, it did "15 miles" during a mot (i was there and it didnt go anywhere but the test station) and obviously failed the mot because of it. I bought a replacement as i thought it was duff and it did exactly the same thing! Buy a set of UK clocks is my advise

Thanks, i am expecting the usual if i phone a main dealer, if i havent got a number plate or chassis number they will go into meltdown
