  5. Personally I cant believe that, I am paying more than some of the younger drivers prices on here with more no claims, low risk postcode, no points etc etc
  6. It always makes me wonder reading through a thread like this, no mention of: I am a celebrity X Factor Britains got talent The voice Dancing on ice Big brother/celebrity big brother Splash I am sure there are plenty of others: WHO WATCHES THIS RUBBISH??????????
  7. I think the Supra is a bit of a red herring as to get a really good one it is probably twice what you would pay for a nice 350 or s2000 and at that point i think there are plenty of other cars i would prefer for the money.
  8. My mate Mark Sutton (of Sutton Images) spends most of his time wandering around track side with his cameras, said they seem to have got a bit louder since the first race, I'm sure they are working behind the seen to increase the sound, but its the old story with turbo cars, you turn the sound into BHP so you cannot have both..!! My old Rx7 tells a different story, lol I also assume you have an energy recovery system associated with the turbo on your Rx 7.. That you didnt mention

    Used JDM?

I really like the Lxz, they were on my list but imho unless they have a monster dish, they dont look anywhere near as good, so kind of rules them out unless you do major archwork or run silly camber. Dave from Jdmdistro couldnt be more helpful, i spoke to him yesterday and he pretty much bent over backwards to get me sorted. He is always worth a call if you want something specific, tell him what you want and he will find it, only downside is if you want them soon he will have to airfreight them from Japan, around £350. Meister R did have a healthy discount on new Enkeis recently, not sure if its still running.
  11. If your spending good money on some decent wheels i wouldnt limit yourself to your current tyre sizes as then you will be restricting your widths, particularly the rears as 245 on 9 + is going to be pretty strectched. Sell your michelins and put it towards some new rubber. You should be ok with most rims if you get sensible offsets, 20 ish is what you want to aim for. Some ideas on widths, tyres and offsets in this link http://www.350z-uk.c...-offset-thread/ Also some achingly good wheels on this site http://www.jdmdistro.com/ or http://japwestmods.co.uk/

Well i think i have found something, a couple of teasers for now
  14. These lycra clad road Bradleys And this isnt a one off event. I must have seen the same thing happen at different junctions dozens of times over the years. There in lies the key to an issue, these guys/girls arent out for just a nice cycle ride, they are hell bent on keeping their average speed up on their apps or gps they refuse to slow for anything. I have a bunch of mates who have jumped on the band wagon, my facebook news feed is filled with, just done a beast of ride (or some other elaborate term for been out for a ride) , "x" miles in "x" time, average speed of "x", i am so wonderful, blah blah blah! Its great that people want to get fit and enjoy their experience, as said i enjoy mountain biking, but to risk their safety for a little higher average on their gps, the roads are not the place! The same goes for cars, take it to the track if you want to see what your capable of
  15. Scary that vid but... ...I think this is where a cyclist can take total control on the situation - just don't go up the inside of lorries especially when on corners. I know its almost incomprehensible for a cyclist to understand but wait, seriously, just wait until its safe (ie stationary, space in front of them to get by etc). When I go around roundabouts etc in a car where lorries are turning I always hang back. Its a pain to be delayed for a few seconds but well worth it. Its also where you see people on bikes who are not road savvy who do not predict other road users behaviour. The amount of times I have had to stop in the road because a cyclist cycles up the inside of me in 'tour de france mode' oblivious to my orange flashing indicators and me slowing to turn left. They are often cycling within a couple of feet of my car at 20mph, thats mental. I have no idea why "some" cyclists (before anyone flames me) seem to have this invincible attitude and they dont have to abide by the rules everyone else does as you mention above. They seem to have this warm fuzzy glow of smugness that they arent polluting the environment like the dirty cars and their keeping fit, so have more right to be on the road and not obey the laws and take risks (like mentioned) as God will protect them for their just and noble cause towards the environment! Personally this is what i think angers drivers to them, their perceived attitude, not the fact they are on a bike
  16. In basic terms, its like having 2 different spring rates, the more you compress the spring (cornering) the harder it becomes. I have picked up some Eibachs for track work so my Apex will be available if you want them, pm me Photo on Apex springs below
  17. I am guessing its just not practical to develop a tailored solution for every car, i am also guessing the demand for sliding motorsports seats to fit a 350z isnt going to be huge. Most motorsports seats will be bolted directly to the floor without the need to be sliding. Could you not make a simple solid mounted base that bolts to the existing seat rail bolts and then just bolt in and out when you go on track/drifting?
  18. I thoroughly enjoyed Ron Dennis's comments on the grid walk surrounding that this is the future of F1 (whether we like it or not) and it will benefit us all in the long run, the changes were agreed by the teams and now people are moaning, followed up in the commentary box by basically saying, if you dont like the heat, get out the kitchen! Decent race though, i know the safety car added to the tension, but great to see the Mercedes having a good battle without the usual moans over the radio about what the other driver was doing and also excellent the team let them get on with it! Also interesting to see they were close on pace, in fact all the teams cars were close to the other on track! I cant not mention Vettel getting beat by his team mate, again, i would bet a lot of money, if i had it, he never expected that to happen when Ricciardo was signed, Ricciardo to be number 1 driver come mid season, that would be priceless! Seems like Lewis played a bit of a master stroke with his move at the moment, i hope though the two drivers keep having a dice if they are out the front by such a distance!
  19. Almeida1234 will take this i am sure, have pm'd him
