I have been working out of town recently and every morning on the drive to work I have seen a real nice blob eye coming the other way. Slammed with some wide alloys and de spoilered, which makes all the difference I think, it looks wide and menacing. The only thing for me though, however classic it is, just couldnt have one in the blue! I just cringe at car shows when there are lines and lines of blue Imprezas all next to each other

I think there is a small amount of everything needed to be successful or wealthy unless of course you are born into wealth. You dont necessarily make loads of money just from working hard, you need a bit of luck and timing thrown in and possibly a good idea. A couple of examples down my way, a lad late 30's has just sold 50% of his company for £19.2 million after 8 years, what did he start off as, a personal trainer!!!! He set up a company teaching people to be personal trainers! Another lad in his 30's left the marines and set up a private security firm, mainly anti piracy (armed) on container ships/cargo etc and has just started putting security on oil rigs, its been rumoured he has been offered in excess of 50 million after just 6 years. Problem is, i dont see the opportunities to make large sums of money like perhaps when our parents were young and i also think if you want to be wealthy, you have to be ruthless and perhaps even a bit dodgy, so if you have a conscience you wont sleep at night!

I cant imagine you wont find a black Pulsar over here and with the yen still a bit low i am not sure they would be much cheaper. Personally i think they need to focus on standard of driving far more than a few mph over the speed ltd (time and a place). I have not heard of anyone being booked for the new laws regarding tail gating and middle lane morons. I drove back from Portsmouth the other evening (still light), the m27 was quiet, the amount of people sat in either the middle lane, even the outside lane with nothing ahead for miles was just astounding! Start cracking down on bad driving and handing out points and fines for that if they want to make the roads a better and safer place to be, i have no idea why its just speeding that is seen as so antisocial and dangerous (again within reason).

Would rather have them pass some stupid comment than the alternative of leaving a nice scratch on the car. The problem is, thats all i could think, its those kind of f****wits that would and how many times do we hear, would love to get hold of the scrote who keyed my car!

Its a shame mechanical failure on the Mercs would seem to be the only way to get a good race, but there was a good showing of a group of cars that could have won that after that! Really good to see Danny Ric get his first win and beat his team mate again, awesome drive by Rossberg. Hardly heard a peep out of Lewis on the radio, does anyone think that was deliberate, i.e the editing or he was conscious of his recent "mutterings", I think he might have come in for some flack, from the snippets of the interviews I saw surrounding last weekend and Rossberg what he had to say was cringeworthy.

It just saddens me that there are people that are so bitter, ironically over a 6k car which nothing but a bit of hard work wouldnt get you!

I had my first attempt at jealousy today, some horrible pickey yoofs walked into the petrol station, strolled by the car and said, where did you get that, the scrap heap! I am not sure me laughing amused them more so! Sad really, first time i have ever had that!

I know it was only a clip but, just seemed like 3 blokes in 3 cars taking the p*ss out of each other, sounds vaguely familiar to me!

I would bet my left nut someome falls for the speil and the next time we see it will be in the welcome section with something like, this is what I have just bought, its a nismo r tune ltd edition full test track car what ever etc etc and the next sentence would be but there are a few problems though and or worse! Used to happen loads on the Rx7 forum, unsuspecting and uneducated buyers buying dross because it looked good and the add sounded even better. Still, shocking to think anyone would buy a car from ebay without looking at it first. If ever i have advertised a car on there i never take any bidders seriously unless they have come to take a look first.

Car goes in for some work Monday week, so final bump as i would like to get a new bumper and all the work done at the same time otherwise i will keep this for the season

Is there no win no fee companies that will look at this? I would have thought they need "evidence" (photo etc) not just their word. If a police officer can randomly say someone was doing something when they werent the country would be in a world of trouble. Personally i would have a good read around, pistonheads as a good example, and see if anyone else has challenged such cases. Long story short, i got stopped on my motorbike a few years back after attending a popular bike meet on the way home a few miles down the road from it, i had just literally almost been knocked off my bike by a speeding car over a crest of a hill (copper waiting at the bottom), they watched the car go past and then pulled us all in, we werent speeding as a mate was running in his bike. They were out that night to stop bikers and check for small plates, illegal exhausts etc and fully admitted it even when asked if they had seen what almost happened, there response was, we are not interested in cars tonight! It was actually quite amusing in the end, a full blown shouting and swearing match with a copper who insisted he could give me points for a small plate, i begged for the points, he ended up giving me a correction notice, strange that
