  1. It was very much nigger! I also heard the other day a bbc Devon dj got sacked for playing, the sun has got his hat on because it contains the n word! What is the world coming too!
  2. So I am watching Dambusters from 1954 and the black labrador is called Nigger, his name is frequently used! For the very few who were so upset with the use of the word, is this acceptable to be broadcast?
  3. Wheels, although exhaust and suspension are great additions, but you have to drive to appreciate them, un like wheels
  4. Couldnt agree more! Lewis is British so will back him all the way, but, it does seem he is increasingly moany over the radio these days, just get on and race, if whoever is faster than you, suck it up, do the best you can and move onto to the next race, i detest all this, "something is wrong" which is why i havent won and i dont mean dirt in the eye, i mean the continues moaning about pitting after the crash, if you thought you should box, tell them you are boxing and get in! I loved watching Fogartys dominance in WSB, but jeez, what a moaner when he didnt win, it was never him, always something to do with the bike, tyres, brakes engine etc Never, just the other guy was better! As for Vettel, sorry to say after all the fortune and luck he has had (by that i mean being full on punted off the track last season and doing no damage and regular failures of Webbers car) i cant help but think this is a bit of Karma, especially with the attitude he has shown under team orders, nothing worse than a spoilt brat throwing all his toys out the pram when for once it finally isnt going his way!
  5. I thought that was a good race, had an air that something would happen up the front but loads going on behind. is it just me or is Lewis getting a bit of a whinger? Seems like he is constantly whining over the radio, i know he had dirt in his eye but was the same last race, lots of complaining!
  6. Coming soon by all accounts according to Rocket Bunny! Wont be cheap though, easy £2k plus landed!
  7. Just reading a thread on another forum and didnt realise the same guy responsible for the liberty walk styling is also responsible for rocket bunny styling, guess it should have been obvious!
  8. Jetpilot

    New Boots

The finished article, sort of! Just got to get them all back together & tyres on When the sun hits them, they come alive
  9. Still here and looking out the window and its wetter than a ........... just in case we are still being supervised! So glad i didnt go
  10. Seems real slow again, anyone else suffering, took a good 30 secs + to bring this page up!
  11. i have edited many posts, either they havent read correctly or i have spelled something wrong, left a word out etc, but that is within minutes of writing it, i have no idea why anyone would want to revisit a post made days/weeks before to change what they have written entirely. As on another forum i use, the edit function is only available for ltd time for mistakes to be corrected, i think its a day only.
  12. Sorry dont want to be some sort of crusader but questioning why the edit function is left on indefinitely? Imho there is no need to edit posts from days before unless you are knowingly trying to misrepresent something you have said. Anyone else have any thoughts?
  13. I use a forum where the edit feature is only open for an hour or so after original posting for the reason that people were editing posts a long time after posting because they wanted to claim they hadnt said "x" or trying to cover things up. There were many examples, sale prices were changed, whats included in sale adds were changed, conditon etc condemning/threatening behaviour etc etc etc Imho there is no need to edit posts days and days after you posted. The buyer obviously was pleased and wanted people to know he got a bargain, but obviously that didnt seem such a good comment when it came back up for sale and i am sure we can all work out why otherwise there would be no need to edit his original post. Quite frankly it doesnt affect me and have seen it way too many times on forums.
  14. I have seen hornets before and can safely say this was nothing like it!
  15. yeah he's been great with it. I think wide front arches is the way to go. Going to look at what options are out there. Because if there flush then I need a bumper to match. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk yeah he's been great with it. I think wide front arches is the way to go. Going to look at what options are out there. Because if there flush then I need a bumper to match. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I couldnt find many more than the ones i linked too, the question is, is a bumper required or do they just flare out where needed and still meet the leading edge of the bumper. I really like the 4th ones, a bit different, but not sure if the skirts are required for similar reasons, if you do any digging let me know and may split the shipping with you mate.
  16. The reason that was the best one is because i never twatted around with it, lol! Soon as you get into the bhp quest it becomes dangerous territory. To be fair the last one i had was rebuilt and ran 450 bhp since its rebuild and did 20k miles, so not too bad. Their rep is a exaggerated but not unfounded, my first one never let me down once, buy right and look after them and they will do miles and miles, but you do need to give them more attention than a piston engine, regular oil check and top ups etc etc, they dont like being switched off before they are up to temp and they do need to be spanked pretty much every time you go to clear the carbon deposits!
  17. easiest route really Hmm I quite like the last one. I like those but couldnt work out if you need their skirts too

  19. I had a 10-12 year love affair with Rx7s, from std (breathing mods/ecu) to the last incarnation which was 501hp. Great cars but my last few spent more time being fettled than driven and the ownership is getting dubious to say the least Would love an Evo, most likely a 6, again though i just cant escape the growing reputation of current ownership sadly, the same goes for later model scoobs! Unless my budget stretched significantly i am not sure what i would change too, maybe the only temptation would be a R32GTR before they go mental in price. This was my first and imho best Rx7 i had
  20. Mine was indoors, so no escape Fly net bought and installed
  21. That is what i thought the buzzing was as already had a couple of them in, but when i opened my eyes, well lets put it like this, i am off to buy a fly screen, i have woken to some scary things in the morning but not nothing like that
  22. Just woke up to one of these giant mother f..........s in my room! Yes i know this thread is worthless without pics but god damn it was big, at least 2" long and a chunky b......t with a nasty look in his eye, i apologise for not thinking, i should get the camera, but i was tackle out, slightly dazed from just waking to what i thought was a helicopter buzzing around my bedroom and i just wanted it out! You have been warned, but on the plus side, you would have no trouble swatting it due to the size
  23. What a great topic, nothing like reliving your youth! Gladiators was religiously watched and remember seeing Jet and Lightening at a few bike shows! My mate is married to a girl who was one of the champions and knew Phil Norman, also a champion. A couple of my best mates were top dj's but never really got into the scene although did go to a few of their sets Bizarrely enough on Friday i spotted an old school retro Bmx whilst out at my sprayers, a Diamond Back, made some enquiries and bought it cheap, just trying to identify it but think its a silver streak or hopefully a turbo, worth a mint done up so thats the plan but will keep hold of it! I used to while away hours playing Jet Set Willy on the Spectrum 64 and Donkey Kong on an Atari!
