  1. Coilovers or air to get that look buddy and with coilovers that low it will be undriveable especially on country roads
  2. All depends how low you want to go really buddy, if its something you think you will want to mess around with, go coilovers, if you going to be happy at a set height, springs work. There are plenty above just on springs and imho, you wouldnt want to be much lower on the road anyway
  3. I think you stand more chance of crashing on a road to be honest, there are too many variables to consider. Insurer it up and get out there, you will wonder why you have never done one before i can guarantee that
  4. If its a motoring programme it will most likely fall flat on its face like just about every other motoring programme, the only reason tg survived was because of jc and Andy Wilman, whether you like him/them or the show or not. TV is just dire these days and it going to have to appeal to the masses, which isnt us petrolheads, much as you/we may want a motoring segment on prime time, it just isnt going to get the ratings to survive, hence why they have got Evans on board as an entertainer, in all fairness as per the press release, who would have heard of Chris Harris and Sabine Schmitz if you werent into cars? All in my opinion of course.
  5. Doesnt have to be hr specific if thst helps, all exhausts are the same
  6. Yes thats the chap, not tried Alex yet, will give him a bell in the new year
  7. See if you can get them to pay their tax please
  8. The previous show worked or in some peoples eyes didnt work, because of all three of them. I dont think this will be any different, its success will come down to how they all get on imho. The bases are covered, CE popular entertainer, CH as petrolhead/driver, SS (perhaps not apt being German) female to please the pc crowd.

  10. Quite a few sets in the for sale section, whats your budget?
  11. Well thats 9 mins of my life i wont get back, lol, like Police interceptors without the flashing blues
  12. Hi guys, just a heads up really. I have an very nice but old school Alpine V12 amp set up, the sub amp decided to blow and i could find nothing to replace without spending silly money and a friend recommended The Amp Doctor. Sent off my MRV1000 after a quick chat with Gordon and came back all good for £60, they even do a dyno run (so to speak) Bridged its 665w rms @ .1% thd 4 ohm.
  13. Yeah i know it would be a monopoly and they would probably charge more than i am paying now I literally wouldnt watch the tv if it wasnt for Sky, about the only thing i watch on normal tv is/was TG, wildlife docs and the occasional random historical programme/documentary.
  14. Ask Buster about how good earthing kits are, when he recently found the cause of his problems was a bad earth, even though he has an earthing kit
  15. I dont mind paying, just if it was all in one place. I pay for Sky and make good use of it, F1, Golf, Cricket and some football at times , but also have to pay for BT to watch the MotoGp, its really odd how Sky dont have the MotoGp seeing as they sponsor teams
  16. If you can get your hands on some Nismo S tunes they really are very good Otherwise, Koni or Bilstein are well regarded
  17. Original Rays in exceptional recently refurbished condition, in matt gold 18 x 8.5 et 30 18 x 9.5 et 36 Treat yourself this Xmas £1600

  19. At the speeds you claim to drive you could use pads made of a firm cheese mate as ekona says, you could make any brake set up lock up so its only the abs helping you stop.
  20. Brakes make very little difference to stopping power as it happens, all the chat about jdm brakes and stopping distances is just nonsense, I will try and find a test I read, the jdms stopped 1 foot longer than brembos, the only difference will come in prolonged braking. Still got to hope the guy behind you has mpss though or your still getting hit ; )
  21. Think i will get a gauge and see what happens come spring/summer and more so on track
  22. Overkill then? I am already running an aps high capacity cooled sump, maybe i should just get a temp gauge on and see whats happening first
