  1. I remember looking at Testarossa not too long ago (within the last 7-8 years), you could buy one for 30k!!!
  2. 100 -110k I was speaking to a mate of mine yesterday who sold a sls amg convertible to buy his 458 about a year ish ago for 115k, now they are 170k he only lost 4k in 1.5 years of motoring in it
  3. You also dont know if there was a reason she didnt stop, i.e not insured or possibly over the limit, i would have driven to the station there and then personally and made sure they were round there like a shot just in case.

    Wheel size?

Was running 11j et21 Quite a few have wider than 10" but in all fairness, 9.5, 10 or 10.5j wearing a 275 is the right combo, i only ran an 11 because i wanted some stretch, there was absolute no other benefit to having wider rears or fronts more than 9 or 9.5.
  5. ^^ As above and do it quick whilst the damage to her car is still evident, it wont help her in any claim if she left the scene.
  6. Pm me over what you have please buddy, how come you had it made up?
  7. I bought a full set of mtec j hooks, just over £300 for the discs which is pretty impressive
  8. Yes at the limit and Jez said he doesnt really encourage going much past that on std internals although i know a fair few do I will upgrade over time and looking into getting my own fuel return system sorted as think the cost for some aeroquip hoses & fittings is just eye watering. The main reason i want to get the fuelling done is i dont like running the additional inline pump in case of failure it will run lean without me knowing. P.s hope your ready for some waves tomorrow afternoon, 20ft in the channel
  9. No problems, but for the cost of some rear pads i would do the lot imho.
  10. I bought mine done, just installed at around 70k, it was the v3 kit, inline fuel pump, intercooler etc but no fuelling (injectors/fuel return) and no uprated maf, 418hp. If your concerned it may be worth getting a compression check done, although it wont tell you the whole story it will give you an idea of top end condition. Do you use any oil etc any other issues your aware of? If not as Ekona says your good to go imho Dont forget you will need a decent clutch so that will add a fair few £
  11. You wont get half the stopping power, big brakes actually dont increase stopping power that much, what they do offer is better feel, cooling, so less fade when in harsh environments, i.e track. You will probably find build quality is the only possible issue and by that i mean, lifespan, as well as not having as mentioned a UK point of contact. http://www.zeckhause...ting_Brakes.htm

    Traction

It wouldnt step out with a slipping clutch.

    Traction

I know the 350 has a fair dollop of torque but would be very surprised if it had enough to step out from a straight line at 65mph in 4th no matter what the tyres or conditions, i would be looking at geometry first and foremost, get onto a Hunter alignment and get it set up
  14. I think you only get like 4 laps or so per car so wouldnt worry to much about getting used to it, just whatever you think will be the most fun and would say the atom will leave the biggest grin.
  15. I think you may find 5m will go a long way to obscuring his butt uglyness when it comes to choice of women now
  16. Think Buster is running Teins for one, check out his build thread 18, 19 or 20 is irrelevant as you will keep the same rolling circumference with altering the tyre profile as close to std as possible so has no bearing on ride height
  17. Plenty of supercharged on here with no issues, so long as you dont push the hp limits, they should be fine good luck sounds like a nice project, have fun
  18. Sounds obvious but buy the best car to suit your budget, doesnt matter where it comes from If you buy a cat c or d just bear in mind it will impact resale value so may not be the bargain it appears at first glance. What are you plans, kit/wheels/interior/engine?
  19. There was a wanted add for bose amp
  20. Atom (providing its the full fat version) and Aston or Lambo
  21. Got to agree with everyone else, but mopedmark has them on his 350 if that helps
  22. I was also under the impression this was the law
  23. Its like a plastic welded style rivet is the only way I can describe it.
  24. They have a sort of plastic rivet thats heat welded from behind, easily removed with a drill like a normal rivet. You will probably have to glue them back in place though, silicon or tigerseal will work.
