  1. Great pics - thanks. This is why I prefer the 350 - its smoother and understated compared to the 370
  2. We think they fished the keys from hall table near front door !!! I had a feeling this was the case, the security without a key is pretty good with the Zed. What is the stance with the insurance company...... will they still cover you despite the thieves getting hold of the keys? Dunno mate tbh, Im assuming so - basically breaking and entering to get the keys in order to steal the car ? Mine was stolen a few months after I bought it when the thieves broke thru the front door and took the keys from the lock (I know, I know). The police recovered the Zed and the insurance covered everything. This was nearly 11 years ago though.
  3. Thanks - I'm at work and it blocks the pics from this website
  4. Sorry to hear this - will keep eyes peeled up here in the North West. What colour is the Zed?
  5. Long before I was a Zed owner a petrol-head firend of mine said that the most important safety feature on a car is the tyres. I think that is good advice -
  6. That's a great price Where did you get them from?
  7. Been here with the Zed before - everything needing doing at once. But when its all fixed -
  8. I know there is not a lot of love for Nissan dealers on this forum - but I've found one who I trust to do the job right. And that's just the point - find someone you trust to do the work - peace of mind is hard to put a price on
  9. ^ +1 All wear and tear items but once they're done you'll begin to appreciate the joy of owning a Zed. I've had mine for 11 years now and often found that a few things need doing at the same time - but in between those times its
  10. Looks like its here: http://www.mtech-engineering.co.uk/
  11. +1 I'm the owner of an 11 year old Zed (had it since new), its done 107k, been regularly maintained, only had Super Unleaded and it still looks and drives great I you can find someone you trust to keep it regularly serviced you shouldn't have too many problems - but as with any cars this age some things are going to give sooner or later (I had a split brake line recently) - but its worth overcoming all of the little niggles as the Zed is a really great car to drive. Best of luck!
  12. Is that the same as a front suspension arm? If so, then I had mine replaced outside of MOT because (according to the tech) Nissan had a bad batch of them
  13. Congratulations Its still just a baby though . . .
  14. A petrol-head friend of mine told me that the most important safety feature on a car was the tyres. Never, ever comprise on tyres.
  15. MOT passed yesterday - no advisories Car is 11 years old with 107k on the clock and hasn't had an advisory yet I've never owned a car quite like this one
  16. Congratulations and welcome
  17. Back on the road again Been nearly 3 weeks since the breakdown but my "dealer" has been absolutely fantastic. Sourced and fitted the new brake lines over Xmas (cost £220 all in) and I've a had courtesy car for free during that time. I say "dealer" as they are now not a Nissan dealer but a Kia/Hyundai/whatever dealer so the way they source Nissan parts has changed slightly (as I've been told by the tech who did the changes). Anyway, chuffed to bits to be back in the Zed - just had to tell some
  18. This - but I get around 30k from my Bridgestones
