  1. Stutopia

    Oil cap

Can't you just wait until your husband gets home? To be fair, my OEM one was a pig to shift.
  2. There's no promotion in this utopia, all are equal, just with different buttons. I intend to use my new powers for good, to help make a place where children can play with their hoops, tops and jack in the boxes. Where pensioners can tend their melon patch without fear of Huckleberry Finn style moonlight attacks.
  3. The Shark's away with her new owner. I'm sure he'll reveal himself on here soon enough and I'm certain he'll take good care of her. We had a good talk about "stance", so at least I know she'll be safe from that. Bye Zed, it's been emotional
  4. Just don't tell the wife, the only reason she's letting me stay is because she thinks they're all ugly here... Bwwwaaahhhhaahhhhaaaaahhhhaahaaaaaaa
  5. You found the fit nurse? I always thought it was a myth perpetuated by Sid James!
  6. Never seen a GT4 rear badge. Only the plate.
  7. That really sucks mate, hope they fix you up soon or at least get you some better drugs. Couldn't have picked a better time though, with the NHS in rude health and well funded and over staffed, once we get shot of all those foreign doctors and nurses it'll be even better Chin up. It's not like you've got man flu.
  8. I don't really use many coatings, too much risk for outdoor detailing. I do like this though http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/sealants/finishkare-1000p-hi-temp-sealant/prod_589.html
  9. It can look like that with the mirrored surface. You can't be certain until you clear up the outside.
  10. DA polisher (or drill with applicator) and metal polish gave a quick cut for me, pristine in not much longer than it takes to mask up the surround. Then 2 layers of a UV sealant like the gtechniq mentioned above.
  11. I've only done viewings with them, as a potential buyer, so far. They were fine, same as all the others. Granted, I've never actually been into an estate agent that "benefits" from a local office, they seem to be prone to ignoring emails and messages as you'd expect from unnecessary middle men (see travel agents) in fact I'd say one without an office might be a bit more inclined to take non-face-to-face contact a bit more seriously. Their time is coming, disruptive technology will tear the house down sooner or later, when their expedia or uber or airbnb arrives. Sorry, I appear to have gone off on one
  12. Happy Birthday snowflakes, you two off for a spa day?
  13. Random petrol station lunatic, shouting, "Alright mate, that's one of them Subaru Imprezas int it. You know Mazda make one exactly the same?". "Err, yeah."
  14. Managaing to stay strong on the no mods policy so far, just a bit of routine maintence. BOSCH! AH and CCA boosted. OEM Battery problem, solved. Sony CarPlay headunit in, total dog of a job because the headunit and dash pieces simply refuse to get along with each other. I'll revisit this when my rage subsides and do a proper job to make it fit and get it painted. Please note the tastefully dremmeled fascia plates at each end to make it "fit". CarPlay is everything AppRadio isnt, very pleased. Gave her a wash too, second one done so starting to get an idea of the state of the paint. Sadly not as good as I thought. I even managed to add some defects of my own with clay bar marring. Used the same BH bar on the Zed with no trouble at all, even with its alleged soft paint. Soon buffed out though. At which point it rained its ass off. But it still looks sexy. However, I think this will require a full correction before the sunshiiiiiine returns.
  15. With my Zed up for sale, these beauties won't ever make it on to her, but they could make it on to your 350Z. These are TarmacSportz Side Diffusers, gloss black, brand new, never been out the box other than for these photos. Yours for just £125 delivered to mainland UK.
  16. Sausage, egg and chips but with the good red wine vinegar for the chips. Mmmmmm.
  17. For top notch sealants I tend to try something from gtechniq or gyeon, they do excellent sealants. http://gtechniq.com/products/auto/ http://gyeonquartz.com/q2-collection/#product-collection Look out for any well reviewed marine products, as obviously they take a hell of a beating being exposed all day.
  18. Yeah, it definitely needs doing... but if i've got a 60's Mustang it's going to be for cruising not enjoying at speed - so worried about feeling unfulfilled. Makes sense. You could always spend your time retrofitting it with modern suspension, brakes, etc and end up with a muscle car which handles.
  19. Go 60s muscle and runaround. Nothing else even comes close!
  20. You can't live in fear mate. If where you are in Leeds is more deprived than where I am in Blackpool, then save the dash cam money for a move somewhere else
