along bud. Zed prices seem to be quite dependent on colour, if you've got the pockets to respray and really want it you're in a really nice position as you're able to pick the best car you can without the colour/price/personal desireability trade off to weigh up. Good luck with your search.

I'm pretty conservative in the mod stakes, so super aggressive is not generally my personal thing, but some cars that really go fully balls out, can really work. As it's a work in progress anything could happen from here. The right spoiler, right wheels, any stubby (every Zed should have one), maybe even some quality downlighting (sorry if that's too f&f for some but it's the kind of car that could carry it off done right) and it's defo gonna turn heads. The two tone is actually my only real objection, all in black or midnight purple or some other single extreme colour and it could be pretty rude. Fair play for posting up and not running off after the initial few pages of comments If you smile when you drive it and when you look at it, I say do it. It'll be interesting to see where you get to when you're finished (as if you can ever actually finish a zed ) good luck and keep the photos coming. I've got some exterior mods going on this week, don't know whether to post them now after some of the comments :scare:

Was it this thread GMB? http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/81512-limp-mode-with-all-braking-lights/

I've tried to engage it before and the cruise light flashes quickly and it refuses to engage. Next time I've started it it's been fine. On the thread I started at the time, resting a foot on the clutch was suggested as a potential cause (along with faulty microswitches), but it wasn't the case when I experienced it.

Help! Recurrence of o2 sensor EML - with new codes
Stutopia replied to Stutopia's topic in 350Z Technical
Yes, I would but it's the other end of the country sadly. Totally agree, but on this occasion I wasn't there to see for myself, so I can only go on what's been advised to me. I don't have the equipment to get under it safely myself at home to have a proper look. I'm trying to get into my usual tech, but he's very busy. -
Help! Recurrence of o2 sensor EML - with new codes
Stutopia replied to Stutopia's topic in 350Z Technical
I get 4 of the same codes as yourself P1146 P1166 P1147 P1167, these come up fairly frequently, sometimes not all of them at once. I also have berks hfcs, a scorpion, and an Uprev. From what I have read it is safe to run, but spacers may help? I've not got my spacers fitted my tech had some issues fitting them (if you can believe that!) so I'm currently trying to get booked in with my usual guy to see if he can sort it. I am hopeful that if I can get the spacers on, this will put it to bed. If you do pick some spacers up and it resolves your codes (as expected) I'd be very grateful if you post up on here, given we have the same set up. On the positive side I have no evidence to suggest it's causing issues beyond the irritating EML and the O2 sensors are getting lightly toasted due to the extra heat. -

Only just seen this, great cause. -
I got a, "that car's proper sick" the other day when I was washing the Zed. I think you can tell from the vocabulary the age of the lady in question... I did pull up at the main gate at work recently to find another GM zed in the gate office space. To my surprise, I wound down the window to compliment the vintage lady driver on her excellent taste. I know, that's well 007, yeah? Wasn't even my idea, the Zed made me do it

Totally true. I didn't mean to be down on BMW, I love engineering and they've certainly got it, just not that x factor for me. Having said that, I saw a Z4 M tear up the track at Croft last year and it was astonishing, so maybe one day...

That or from a transit van...
-
I could've kept up with it in the Zed to about 170, but it probably would've pulled away from there.

Properly, insane fast. http://link.brightcove.com/services/player/bcpid2555027605001?bckey=AQ~~,AAAAAFwqu7c~,j110uIP_ymoUUq-0ppHWoApzLgpWMdYM&bctid=3248699189001

They're clearly fine pieces of engineering, but I just can't really get excited about BMWs, M or otherwise. There's a fairly strong stench of the aspirational middle manager about them that turns me right off. Shame really (for me obvs, not anyone else) as I'm sure there's a good number of them that are very pleasant to drive and go like stink, with extremely happy owners. The 645s seem to be insanely good value at the minute. If I had a shot at an M3 or a Mustang or a Camaro or a Challenger, I'd sooner have any of the yank tanks, despite undoubtedly the BMW being better engineering. Must be one of those irrational things...

So my Japanese car has "transformed" into an American one (Got her home )
Stutopia replied to Jay's topic in Other Cars
You sound well pleased, I think they're great cars from my short time in one, though the pacific coast highway may have influenced me... -
Isn't the cosworth (I think I can safely say, well regarded) panel £30 or so from Clarks/Zman?
-
Steering wheel. There should be three buttons on either side of the centre.

Scooby or that Fiat Multipla you've always wanted? Going for the fiat 500 abarth, makes my vagina moist. I bet they're a ton of fun, hope it works for you mate.
-
Sounds interesting Jay What colour you going? She looks pretty fine right now, love the purple.

My "I'm not gonna mod this car" roadster
Stutopia replied to Davectr's topic in Member Build Projects
I also don't mod Use a (free) photobucket account to post pics. Upload them then paste the image code into the body of your post. Good luck with the Zeditis. -
Wow, given the competition on here, that's extremely high praise indeed Thank you!

I've got a cosworth panel filter, more worried about filtration than gains TBH, it's dry so it doesn't risk any oil sneaking out. So far it seems to work fine but I can't say if it makes any bhp.

Been on family detail in the Lakes this weekend, couldn't resist an opportunity to revisit some of the places of my youth and snap The Shark. The scenery isn't too shabby if you liven it up with a clean(isn) Zed and a V6 roar. I remember when I just assumed everywhere looked like this! It'd be beautiful up there if it ever stopped raining, but I guess it's raining pretty much everywhere at the minute

Bay is looking well mate. Do you mind if I ask where you got the carbon intake pipe? Looks sweet!
