  1. If the cash isn't an issue, do the lot. I don't regret ripping mine out for a second. I'm very happy with hertz coaxials in the rear and components up front.
  2. I really liked the auto finesse and I'm not a wax lover.
  3. When I was in consumer finance dealing with specifically sub prime customers (about 6 years ago) they remained on file, just showing as settled, when they were cleared. In my personal experience if a human is making a lending decision, an old and settled default might not be too bad if the rest of your credit and disposable income is strong, but if it's a computer making a judgement and it's a prime lender you're applying to, it may just spit out a straight forward no. Equifax or Experian for searching yourself I'd suggest.
  4. Sorry for off topic but just wanted to say a massive thanks to you Randy_Baton As soon as I saw it, I knew it had to happen. This is the greatest leap forward in my detailing since I found out what a clay bar is. From this shambles: To this majesty: Look at the new level of order! Folded MFs in a dust free space, with low quality everyday grime busters stacked horizontally and quality ones stacked vertically. Applicator pads stored by size and foam density. My wheel brush even fits in!!!!!
  5. Don't fit anything upside down like I did! Take pics first
  6. Looks great mate. I should really get round to this now the sun's out. Needs a stubby

I've got ferrodos and very pleased, do shed a bit of dust, but that's how you know they're working Heard good stuff about Stoptech.
  8. along! Whatever you do to your bumper it'll look worse for wear in 6 months I'm thinking about respray number two and only had her 15 months
  9. Any reason? Prefer the higher insurance premium for subsequent years or is it that points are cool?
  10. For a few seconds there I thought you meant the glove box . Its a Stanley Fatmax mobile workstation. If you want to see one in all its glory I'd suggest looking at this thread... http://www.detailing...ad.php?t=207474 I've got a spare door pull for sale if you want to try a few things out and not mess with your own one. There's a glove box? That thread you linked to is awesome, love the workstation and the bespoke bottles!!!! This forum continues to find new and innovative ways to drain my bank account
  11. MPSS. Did a quick google after Alex's post. Helpfully the internet has posts on their sidewall being both soft and stiff!
  12. Tyre walls makes sense, cheers Alex, not thunk of that. Spiggot bush. Is this one of those jobs you do when the clutch is replaced as a "while it's all out, may as well"?
  13. Nice work so far. I like the black metal bit on passenger door, might have to copy this. What's that cool thing you store all your detailing goodies in? I want one!
  14. Got a couple of (vague but nagging) Zed questions that have been perplexing me over the last month or so: 1) The noise: at the top of each gear there's a strange sort of noise, just as I shift up and only when I'm 'making progress'. The clutch doesn't slip when the next gear is engaged, or on a hill or otherwise. Don't know if this helps but when it appeared the other day, I got asked, "Do you have a dump valve?". 2) The feeling: sometimes when I make a sharpish turn in or mid roundabout, it feels like the car just slides across an inch underneath me. This isn't the tyres struggling on the road, there's no squeal and I'm not pushing on. It just feels like the whole beast shuffles over an inch to the outside, this is mainly felt via my butt. Any ideas? Sorry my questions aren't specific, but they definitely really happen!
  15. Where abots are you mate? Might be code reading Zed hero near by...
  16. Saw a stock one in the flesh for the first time last week, I think they're sexy little cars. Not as sexy as your one mind, looks ace
  17. Sweet footage. I can feel my wallet bricking it when I ask this, but what camera did you shoot that with? Hi mate, this was filming on a Sony nex 7 with a vintage canon 70-200fd manual lens. First time shooting with this so not great with pulling focus yet. Can't be easy at that range with the subject shifting so quickly!
  18. Ye me lol now they budget tyres were gunna screw me over lol , came straight of the track and straight out the exit lol .... Then straight to the body shop lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Unlucky mate, I had a "moment" on the 4th corner of my first track day in the soaking wet, but the electronics saved me from certain doom. If it makes you feel better I was running MPSS at the time, simply too heavy right foot...
  19. Very nice. One thing I've noticed and I notice it on mine too is that black lip that runs beneath the bumper. Is there anything I can do to get rid of it? What is it? Part of the undertray? It's been a while but isn't it just a bolted on bit of plastic? To protect the bumper. I'm sure mine came straight off when my lip was fitted.
  20. Sweet footage. I can feel my wallet bricking it when I ask this, but what camera did you shoot that with?
