Interesting read in parts, some of the "you only get 20 mpg" stuff baffles me on a big NA machine, what do people expect? I personally think they look sensational and if I can get away with 2 seats at the next purchase I'll be proceeding directly to 70, with a possible sniff around a Cayman on the way, unless the 2015 UK Mustang is particularly interesting in the flesh...

I'm rea I'm really tempted by ARB upgrades, but fear her being too stiff and somewhat skittish, no problems at all? I like the OEM ride, but I don't like the degree of roll permitted. How does it behave near the edge, is breakaway still progressive or much less forgiving?

Like these and I scratched a nismo on a gate post the other day. Do they encroach any further round the bumper than the nismos? They can't interefe with my diffuser. Also do they go straight (ish) on or is there further moding required to get them to fit the Zed?

Love the easy power/torque and going quite quickly without working too hard. Hated the Bose for all 3 days it was in, adding a new headunit also cures squeaks and rattles.

P1, it's an emotive thing, not a reason thing.

There's so many at that price point so it's hard to recommend a model, but on the processor side, the higher the number next to the "i" the better. i3 < i5 < i7. If you intend on playing FM or then I'd suggest an i3 is the bare minimum so as to not have to put up with really long waits in between clicks. At £300 I'd be very tempted to go for something that's refurbished, as it will help your bang for buck on the specs, both PC world and apple have refurb sections (so long as you don't mind refurbed and you get the usual warranty etc).

Love a carrier, saw a little old 'un in San Diego (Midway?) and had so much fun looking round it and meeting the old timers who used to drive it (stop me if I get too nautical ) What an awesome project to be working on. PS I'd suggest gettting one of those ebay special reverse cams to start with

Well I know what I'm ordering next, nice work, as always. Reading your excellent and considerably more scientific reviews than others (i.e. me) got me thinking about making a list of the detailing jobs and my preferred products for each, a budget alternative, and things to try next. There's so much out there you can't try everything yourself (well I can't) so it'd be a handy list.

If you got one handy, do it. Their after-sales support, in my experience, is second to none. They contacted me not long ago about an option to have my graphics card replaced, as some had reported as failing. It's been out of warranty for well over a year.

Berks HFC have made a great improvement on the sound and they made me get my uprev tweaked which has improved driveability. Top mod.

Not for me. My first passion is cinema and it was through this I got interested in certain cars, so naturally my dream cars are movie cars, first the Goldfinger DB5 then the Bullitt Mustang and latterly Dodge Chargers. Realistically, I think the Mustang can happen one day with some good luck, but it has to be the '68 Mustang GT Fastback 390, no other will do The Zed was a recommendation from a friend of a friend, desperate to warn me off the RX8 I wanted. I don't even know the guy's name but I still owe him a pint, as I've fallen head over heels for the Zed. I find it hard to imagine I'll ever again get so much car for the money. Makes it very hard to look into something for the future...
