Perhaps I should have thrown in something a little bit later, like Pulp - probably my favourite band, Different Class just captures my youth completely. I didn't hate that at all. I didn't mention any hip-hop in my first list cos I tend to pick and choose tracks rather than full albums in that arena, I've got time for NWA and Jay Z and obviously Vanilla Ice... Variety is indeed the spice.

I know it's not a wax but, whenever I see black cars on here with it on, Poorboys Black Hole Glaze always looks good, their products I've used are well priced and dead easy to work with too.

Might be just because I'm getting old, or because most music actually stopped being a sound and started being "a look" somewhere around the late 2000s (I blame the whole T4 thing and the brains that brought us Nick Grimshaw). Anyway, reasons aside... I'm finding it hard to find new music. I like to think I span the genres, taking in anything from The Stones, High Contrast, The Boss, Beastie Boys, Neneh Cherry, Radiohead, Prodigy, Pink Floyd, Dizzee Rascal, Urban Cookie Collective, - I've even listened to Phil Collins non-ironically. The last album I bought was Air - Moon Safari (which I missed in the 90s). The last "new" albums that I actually liked were Arctic Monkeys - Suck It And See, and The Vaccines -Come Of Age. So I'm hoping to kick this thread off and get some recommendations, not just for me, but a mutually beneficial thing. With youtube and spotify, no one needs to spend any money to check out new sounds, just need some new ideas. All contributions welcome, I won't flame you if your favourite band is Haim. I just don't want to turn into someone who just listens to the same music over and over - I want to find the new sound

The mid-2007 seems to be the earliest model supported, so if you have that one, it should run. If anyone is using Mail on OSX and has noticed the minor irritation (usually when someone replies to one of your emails) that your original sent mail font in the email chain has actually changed to Times New Roman, try installing this: http://universalmailer.github.io/UniversalMailer/ It's a little add on for Mail which "fixes" the issue. My mail displays in my chosen font, size and style in the compose window (HP Simplified size 12pt for me), but Mail actually sends it out as Times New Roman (the worst font after comic sans). Once it's insalled, when you send mail it persists the font you selected to compose the mail. The bonus being the recipient won't think you've sent it from 1995 or that you are over 70 years old You can also force it to make attachments not "in line". So when you drop an image into an email, it is attached properly and not disaplyed massive in the middle of the email body!

My tech did this for me from this guide whilst I was in for another job, going on a year now, no clicking. It's the greasing of the area in the last picture from the first post that does the magic IMHO. I'm not saying don't do the splines whilst it is all in bits, but having read around I believe it's not the splines themselves.
