Unless you need the air flow, you can retain the window and use the supplied tape and adhesive promoter. I had a sheet of black vinyl applied to the window first, which the louvre is fitted to in case I really didn't like them and they needed to come off. It also stops the glass peeking out through the gaps from certain angles. Well pleased with the final look once painted and fitted

The two track days I've done there's been really experienced guys there in their race prepped toys and when I get spanked by one of them in a Clio I learnt a lot just by following them round for a lap!!! Chunnel was no problem for my stock height Zed with a V1 replica lip, though I did have to do suggest the lower deck to the chap on the platform. The width of the track inside the train is much more worrying, even with Rays.

Never really had a boner for Mercs, but that and the previous C63 do make it twitch.

Re: the vibration, if it's not the cats' heat shield, my scorpion used to rattle off the W brace from time to time until the W brace was modified with a hammer to improve clearance. Worth a look next time you have it up. That drip hasn't run down from the AC unit by any chance?
