  1. Just don't ask him to do Spanish mountain passes But seriously, good of you to offer. The two track days I've done there's been really experienced guys there in their race prepped toys and when I get spanked by one of them in a Clio I learnt a lot just by following them round for a lap!!! Once I get an inexpensive track toy sorted I'd jump an opportunity like this.
  2. Jodie Kidd's style of presenting is painful, the way she draws out a sentence makes me want to concrete in my ear holes. Someone in the paper suggested Sabine "Queen of the Ring" Schmidt as the new Clarkson, not a terrible idea I'd say... Presumably the nickname relates to the Nurburgring and nothing else
  3. That's exaclty what my hands do when I get it wrong in the Zed on Gran Turismo! Good on you for posting it up.
  4. Chunnel was no problem for my stock height Zed with a V1 replica lip, though I did have to do suggest the lower deck to the chap on the platform. The width of the track inside the train is much more worrying, even with Rays.
  5. Never really had a boner for Mercs, but that and the previous C63 do make it twitch.
  6. Re: the vibration, if it's not the cats' heat shield, my scorpion used to rattle off the W brace from time to time until the W brace was modified with a hammer to improve clearance. Worth a look next time you have it up. That drip hasn't run down from the AC unit by any chance?
  7. This is really taking shape now I can't belive how quickly it's coming together, tremendous work! Good colour too
  8. Try Steve @ Redline - http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/160-redline-styling/ He's usually got Nismo knobs
  9. Calipers look sexy, very nice
  10. Indoor tent to sleep in, but it goes to Mr Handjob for a bath
  11. I continue to be impressed by WetCoat's beading reward versus amount of effort (or lack of) required to apply. Simply superb tiny dew beads yesterday morning before work. Thanks for recommending it
  12. There's a clear and present danger I might end up with one for my Norway / Sweden Road Trip next month. In itself not such a bad thing, specially if you're being upgrade from a Hyundai i10, but I had originally pencilled in a Macan. Sadly that's gone boobs skyward
  13. Whatever you end up with (C4 Cactus maybe ) hope you get yours back in great shape and quick, cos she's a beauty. Good luck mate.

  18. Isn't it about time we all got behind a new petition, the Clarkson one is like soooooooo last week. https://www.change.org/p/bbc-hire-alan-partridge-for-top-gear We, the undersigned, would like to see Jeremy Clarkson’s vacated role on the BBC’s flagship programme Top Gear taken up by Alan Partridge. Alan has a strong track record for broadcast presenting, from his relaxed professionalism with guests on BBC chat show ‘Knowing Me Knowing You’ to his effortless banter on his talk shows at Radio Norwich. He has good experience with motoring TV, after his brilliant work on ‘Crash! Bang! Wallop! (What a video)’. His work as sports presenter on news programme ‘The Day Today’ also shows off his ability to talk about and inform on a range of topics. We believe this diversity of experience and his noted passion for cars puts Alan in great stead to take over as chief presenter after Clarkson’s successful tenure. Mr Partridge is both capable of retaining what has made the show great over the years and adding a new and vital reenergised flavour to the show. #hirepartridge
  19. Audi S8 or, if you could handle a second slower to 60, an XKR - V8, supercharged, beautiful - what more could you ask for?
