Brillo and Ken's new track car - Last few months
Stutopia replied to brillomaster's topic in Motorsport & Track Days
GMb is already on the case See - http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/91251-keyser-gets-radical-big-update-p5/page__st__120#entry1454806 Can't you just go fast so the wind blows it off -
I quite fancy a Fabia VRS in green as a daily...
-
This car can't be saved, may as well just give it to me to learn how to machine polish
-
Well jealous, the pics on here from DD are the absolute cat's pyjamas!!!

C bombs felt too far for taste a decency. I dropped the bits on jizz gargling too.

Dear Bellend In A Blue Audi S3, M6 Southbound near Lancaster @3:45pm Today, If I am in the outside lane and the car in front of me is only doing 2mph more than the three cars we're all passing, I can't go through them (see Physics about this), I can't pull out the way (there's a car on the left and a barrier on the right) and you are so close that I can't even slow down and drop back in. However much you want me to sit 2 inches off the car in front's bumper to "let them know", I won't. Not even when you're 1 inch from my bumper and I can smell last night's rentboy on your breath. So when I drop into the middle lane after overtaking the cars, to allow you to "burn off" in your super-amazing-hot-hatch-OMG-you're-so-cool-I-bet-all-the-15-year-old-boys-at-McDonald's-suck-you-off-every-night-behind-the-grease-bin-and-you-can-raz-anything-at the-lights-hot-hatch, IT IS TOTALLY ******* UNACCEPTABLE TO THEN SWERVE IN FRONT OF ME AND SLAM YOUR ANCHORS ON TO PROVE HOW BIG AND HARD YOU ARE, YOU MICRO-DICKED PIECE OF @*!#. I wasn't even the one slowing you down you moron, it was the car infront of me. That hand gesture I was making as you passed, was simply me saluting you're awesome driving and the international wave to come past and show us all how super fast you can drive in a straight line down a motorway. One day you'll do that and the person behind you will be driving a 3-ton volvo, tuning the radio, or changing the temperature, or reaching for a drink and they will go right through you and not even notice; you'll spend the rest of your days eating through a tube and being touched by a deranged night porter. Sorry about that everyone, some poor etiquette on the M6 today caused me to need to vent.

We're meeting in a car park in Coventry next week. She's asked to me bring 5 grand for her visa fee, so she can stay in the country. Just off to the cash point...

If spoilt vote gets the most, do they get to be in charge?
-
I disagree with not voting, but I'll fight to defend you're right not to vote if you chose not to. Mandatory voting would just create a false belief that the people are engaged and have mandated the ruling party, which isn't really true if they've been forced to vote.

Indeed. The governments of the day and the toothless, brainless Financial Regulators on both sides of the pond. The amount of pointless crap that came out the FSA, as it was, when I worked in a small finance company back then was amazing, all that time they forgot to lock the big safe and someone ran off with the Crown Jewels! Though you could say catastrophic deregulation of financial markets was kicked off before that... Fortunately, with the Tories in, they can finish off the job of migrating wealth from the bottom up that Thatcher kicked off all those years ago. It's all gonna be different when I'm Supreme Allied Commander, I've already started on a "first against the wall list" and there's gonna have to be a bloody long wall

Paint looks flawless on the back end. Nice.

These Vajazzle ones look really good, not seen them before. When the K pumps its last squirt these are on the list

Who'd take on the IT security contract for that? Get it right and it's a few million quid of business and get it wrong and there's a million people queued up to sue you, not to mention corporate manslaughter charges that could be brought. If one person broke into the technology for one plane, they could concievebly crash all the planes in the air, all at once before anyone knew it had gone turbo. If it turns out that this guy was mentally ill, I find it much more worrying that they either didn't know how seriously ill be was or they disregarded it. That's the sort of thing that normal procedures should pick up, no need for new tech or 12 men in the cockpit or other knee jerk responses.

Missed it sadly. Did Cameron manage to maintain human form for the whole thing? I briefly saw one of his lizard scales come through when he was flustered in PM Questions recently. He's finding it harder and harder to resist licking up small bugs in his vicinity, must be the stress. What happened to proper politicians who aren't 12 years old and look like hey escaped from a Debenhams Formal Wear sales training course and stumbled into politics??? It's a sad day that Milliballs is supposed to be the best of the bunch.

Got a Karcher K2, it works fine. I hear good things about Nilfisk and their brass internals, not plastic. Does this mean they last longer or corrode quicker?? Can't be sure. For a lance, only used a PA, but it's good, fittings for all the big washer brands and nice and easy to clean/service. http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/pa-foam-lance-cat2.html

So you're the kind of person who is willing to fly a plane full of people into a mountain, but you wouldn't knock out the stewardess who is in the cockpit with you? Most flights now have at least one steward onboard, the last dozen flights I've been on have had multiple stewards in fact. Pete Well the same principle still applies, just because he's a chap doesn't mean he's automatically capable of restraining a deranged pilot gone crazy strong, does it? Maybe the pilot is a woman and the stewardess is a man??? Some women are harder than some men. What if there's another occurrence, but with two people in the cockpit? Do they then have a new three person minimum rule? But then, what if two of the three are in on it? Better have a 4 person rule! And so on...

There's a simple solution to this photon problem. Watch the screen from behind one of two slits. If you can't sleep, just change slits. How dare you come on here banding around your wave theories on light. It's corpuscularian goddammit.
-
These "photons" he's on about (clearly a made up thing) it's a bloody good job they only come out of screens and regular light isn't made up of them, otherwise we'd be being bombarded by them all day every day. When I were a lad there were no photons, we lived in a puddle under a cow @*!# in the middle of the M1. And we were lucky.

Picked up my zed last weekend...

So you're the kind of person who is willing to fly a plane full of people into a mountain, but you wouldn't knock out the stewardess who is in the cockpit with you? Am I too cynical, or does this feel a bit like an opportunity to get some column inches?

Sad to say but I booked with Air France to Brazil a few days after the 777 went down, the prices were ridiculous cheap - any of these things is just bad luck, the aircraft are massively overengineered and overmaintained, the staff are second to none and flying is statistically safer than putting on your trousers. Maybe, but not when determined killers get round security, as 9/11 (for example) demonstrated. Determined killers can get around any security, nothing is impenetrable.

It's not just altitude, great swathes of South America are above 1000m and mobiles work fine. I had no problems making calls in La Paz at 4000m (though I couldn't talk for being out of breath ). The big problems with planes and mobiles is the handoff between cells as you travel is designed to work at 40-100 mph, once you start hauling ass at 400mph the hand off between cells is much more likely to fail and you are more likely to be impinging on multiple cells at once (assuming there is network coverage on the land beneath).

The weird thing about the possibility of this being deliberate is that assuming it was a terror nutter, it's not very terrifying if they don't take credit for it. There's not much point blowing yourself and a load of other people up in the name of [insert terror cause here] if you don't then got on the youtube and start banging on about it and firing bullets up in the air etc etc People are nowhere near as terrified if these things turn out to be maintenance fails, rather than it if was a [terror group] attack. Even though the end result is much the same and considerably more preventable than the lone nutcase scenario.

There's an informative video about the lock here: https://embed.theguardian.com/embed/video/world/video/2015/mar/26/airbus-safety-video-shows-cockpit-door-entry-procedure-germanwings-crash It's truly shocking. Who acts that badly?
