  1. TBH I find that once they've been out the packet for a few days, they all seem to go a bit weak. I generously drenched the under seat area with Hubri Fresh whilst it was out, which is probably my favourite air freshener. Though the Nanolex one in the WB branded box is currently doing a tremendous job battling some fairly noxious smells in my bathroom
  2. WHERE'S THE GODDAM VIDEO???
  3. I've been wanting to do this for ages but was scared by the thought of taking an airbag to the face however, I was Inspired by Granville's hoovering, I set about taking the seats out, mainly to clean under them, but also to clean the sides of the seat which are up against the tunnel and the tunnel itself. Whilst it's important to leave your doors open when the battery is disconnected, it's even more important to save your levels and crossover settings!! All the guides said it was just a matter of four bolts, but it's the dam cable ties under the seat that they don't tell you about that are actually the PITA. After some swearing and delicate use of a scalpel, 10 years of muck revealed NowI can sleep at night now, knowing there's nothing untoward lurking down there! Certainly none of the horror stories to hear about chicken nuggets like in ilogikal1's Zed Actually really pleased with the ease of cleaning and results on the carpet. The seats wee a doddle too, much easier to clean on the deck and managed to really shift some filth off the lower parts you just can't reach in the car. Forgot the pics though . Nothing fancy used on them, just a foam applicator and some Auto Glym Leather Cleaner - didn't do a balm/feed stage. Lessons Learned Today 1. Get the power seats in the right position before disconnecting the battery. 2. Take the headrest off before trying to lift the seat out. 3. The seats are heavy, if you want to save Zed weight get rid of them and replace with something in marble. 4. Don't hoover first, then stand in the car to clean the interior trim 5. Take a photo of your subwoofer setting as well as the others...
  4. Penny pinching aside, why not use Bathe+ everytime? I really like to get layers of protection down and keep topping them up.
  5. What I like about doing the interior jobs is that once you get it up to a good standard, it only takes a few minutes to keep it spotless inside. The outside is a never ending job I might pop my seats out tomorrow as I've never been able to really get them as clean as I want down the sides.
  6. Happiest looking Zed I've seen on here. Great bumper smile!
  7. Is this a real post, or ironic? If it's the latter If it's the former. Holy shitballz!!!!!! I can't imagine what it must be like to work UNDER PRESSURE, it's only people with first hand experience of TV that have ever worked UNDER PRESSURE, no other job comes with spending time UNDER PRESSURE, it's a carte blanche to behave how you want if you work UNDER PRESSURE for at least some point in your career. I imagine being UNDER PRESSURE is the worst when you're alreayd a multi-millionaire and already able to pay for the rest of your life many times over if you got the sack tomorrow. These stupid lazy proles who's bank balance might cover the next 3 months if they got sacked from thier 9-5 jobs, have no idea what it's like to be UNDER PRESSURE. I'm getting angry just THINKING about the PRESSURE of being a Top Gear presenter, imagine how difficult it must be to actually be one. Is there somewhere we can donate to help? Maybe a support group for TV presented survivors? Totaly f***ing joke of an excuse for behaving like a cast iron ****.
  8. Gutted for you mate, that's shitty behaviour. Hopefully, once you sort these, it'll be a good car in the long term. Good luck getting it resolved.
  9. A good snow foam should (in this order): Be fun to use. Be thick like shaving foam. Smell nice. Not leave a mess on the drive. Upset neighbours on windy days. Stop you installing defects in the paint.
  10. I didn't do mine (no balls ) but something my guy said might be worth noting. When the bumper was being baked the bumper and filler started to react differently to the heat and you could see the outline of the holes become apparent. Naturally they backed off the heat and in the end it was left to dry over a few days. The finish is spot on now. Good luck
  11. Get a rag top Camaro SS. It's like having two d!cks, with a V8 as your nuts.
  12. I signed it twice. Whatever he's done, it's ok.
  13. Could do with some tyre gel on the rears
  14. Loads of people have old apple products, why do you think the second hand prices are so high? I've got an old apple tv and my iMac must be at least 4 years old and isn't even close to being due for replacement, my first Powerbook lasted me from 1996 to 2002 and I still manage to get a few quid for it when I sold it; try floggin a 6 year old windows device
  15. Had a whole bunch of service fluids sent down from the frozen North for a P2, super service as usual
  16. Another Cobra lover here. Just wanted to say thanks, it's a relly nice bit of kit and went on sweetly and sounds epic, service was spot on.
  17. This actually provides an astonishing opportunity to count the number of people who are prepared to protest about something where nothing official has been said or shared with them about what's gone on. Or an opportunity to count all the idiots, if you prefer the Clarkson 'no to PC gone mad' style of communication
  18. You're dead right Dan, I had a moment where I forgot this!!! "I'm absolutely outraged at this shocking treatment of the Top Gear talent. I have no idea what went on, how serious it was or if it breaches any behavioural standards and frankly I don't need to know. I know I enjoy Clarkson's straight-talking-tells-it-how-it-is-not-pc-gone-mad "style". Since the last known instance of Clarkson being funny was in 1998, I totally support his new approach of flirting with offence as a substitute for humour, but chicken-shittedly actually refusing to say something properly offensive - see bridge slope incident." - Outraged of Tory Stronghold, Home Counties.
  19. How could there possibly be a petition Already, given no one knows the context of the suspension??? Not having a go at you WW, just the general level of idiocy out there. That suggests there are people who think he should keep his job, totally regardless of any action he may or may not have taken. Stop the world, I want to get off.
