  1. As a Labour die hard, I’d like nothing more than a wealth tax. Not for people who’ve worked hard all their life but for people who’ve done nothing all their life and inherited a fortune, and for organisations that use IP to siphon funds to the tax havens the Tories & HMRC facilitate.
  2. Didn't he do well Ladies & Gents! Mine arrived just now. A lot of very colourful product too, which is always 'interesting'. 1x APC - £8.99 1x Waterless Wash (yuck) - £9.50 1x Spritz Hydropel (QD?) - £14.99 1x Wheel Cleaner - £12.50 1x Tyre Dressing - £9.99 1x Tyre & Trim Dressing - £12.50 £68.47 worth of product, between £46 and £60 of 'useful' product depending on how many years it is before I get through my stock of tyre dressing and then two these new arrivals. Reasonable returns for a £21 gamble.
  3. As soon as HMRC figure out they’re going to miss out on the £40 billion a year they currently enjoy from dinosaur juice motorists, I’m sure a “charging” tax or other such scheme (including the magical unicorn cars) will be along shortly to fill the hole.
  4. I too am late to this party. My plan is I’m gonna buy a cool ICE car and then sell it to a hipster post 2030 for 10 times its value when electric cars have made everyone fall asleep. It’s basically fool proof. Plan B is to get a second place on the go and clear two mortgages by retirement age and then move to somewhere hot with a weak currency.
  5. One was a government budget, the other was an opportunity to move funds from the state to neighbours and former school chums.
  6. You can still post up in here, so long as your ad meets the rules at the top of the forum. https://www.350z-uk.com/forum/213-350z-parts-for-sale/ Sorry about the tractor.
  7. That’s weird, I thought you just got a lower rev limit with the valet key, to curb valet Parker enthusiasm?
  8. If the pedal dance is giving you lights you can’t read, get a cheap code reader and plug it in. I’d get one with a cable a cut out the phone Bluetooth/Wi-Fi and get it read. For £20 it’ll be useful for ages. All you have to be careful of is that it’s different reader for jap imports.
  9. Love everything about your Zed @SHEZZA
  10. Looks like no. 34, no? For that money, I’d take an any number 370 Nismo in red.
  11. Let's see what it looks like, comes with and costs.
  12. Took mine out for a little run on Friday to top up the battery, it’s still so much fun. I don’t think I can sell it unless a totally new project catches my eye (V8 VIP build. Volvo 850R. I also want to modify a Cube too!). Despite not having the actual speed of the Cayman, it feels so much faster because of the noise and the way it moves & steers and you feel every bit of tarmac. I’ll defo be keeping an eye on these when they drop to importable money, that bit of extra displacement is the sweet spot.
  13. Not lost interest mate, just can’t add anything other than admiration!!
  14. Apologies, I thought there was an issue with it displaying correctly, rather than you just wanted rid of it. I'm assuming, like mine, yours renders like this, with it up in top right, narrowing the posts all down the thread. versus It's not customisable on a user by user basis, please enjoy your new feature
  15. Weird, you tried another browser?
  16. Gorgeous that.
  17. Mindhunter. Been utterly engrossing, not fast paced, if that's what you enjoy, but pays off in spades when you stick with it.
  18. Could be weird NATS quirk after the battery was replaced. Hope it's gone for you. Only time mine wouldn't start was cam position sensor, but that did chuck a proper error.
  19. Happy birthday to @Lexx one of the oldest and longest serving members of the community. Whilst he's reclining on his yacht in the Mediterranean these days, he captained us through many a storm in the past and set the bar for what it means to be an integral part of the club. Is it 50 today? Or did you just one one hell of a paper round?
  20. Can't beat physical media (yet) the UHD streams aren't a patch on the bit rates of the real deal discs. I had a multi region DVD player, possibly even 1 MR disc!
  21. Aliens is a great shout. Jurassic Park is 10 times the movie Independence Day will ever be. The scene when he thinks he's stalking the raptors, but they're stalking him, is just perfect - clever girl. Not one of them is fit to lace the boots of Predator.
  22. It’s not old but recently rewatched V for Vendetta. Scary how on point that is these days.
  23. I won’t lie. Although the inspiration on the badges and driving it there and back was all me, Ricey did contribute a respectable chunk of the overall work, so he does deserve his fair share of the glory The reflections are out of this world. I’ll be getting the proper camera out soon and finding a glamorous, isolated Yorkshire location to do his work justice sometime soon.
  24. Regular readers will know I like to get my hands dirty when it comes to keeping my cars clean, but sometimes a job needs indoor space and professional skills, way beyond my own. Older members will know @Ricey struck out to follow his passion a few years ago and I have been watching his work from afar on here and Faceballz ever since. After letting him practice on lesser marques like Maserati, Aston Martin and Ferrari, I've been looking forward to having the right job to send his way. I wasn't expecting perfect paint on a 6 year old black car, but one of my first visits to the petrol station revealed just how bad things were. As well as correcting this horror show, I also booked in to have some protection applied and a "little" job that's been on my list for a while. I've never really liked the black badges, I know it's part of the whole GTS thing, but I personally think badges need a contrast. Black letters on other colours looks great, but on black, it doesn't work for me. So, I secured some genuine Porsche parts and then expertly gave them to Paul to sort out First the easy bit. Then the template. All done. I'm super pleased with the result. I know chrome is not for everyone, but it is literally the only non-black part of the whole car, so I think it's not too bling. The spacing and alignment are absolutely spot on. Onto the paint. As you can see, he had his work cut out. But he was more than match for the hard Porsche paint. Two stages of correction has given it a beautiful depth, removed all the minor marks and a lot of the big ones too. Where they've not been eliminated, they've been softened so much as to make them almost unnoticeable. Also the wheels came off for some love and protection on them and the callipers too. He even cleansed the leather and alcantara, leaving a layer of protection inside and a little signature. He also stocked me up on the good stuff from Envy. I am a big fan of all the Envy products I have used to date, not tried Iron Awe yet so looking forward to that. I also left with some SC-MIST to keep the ceramic protection topped up. You see, as well as making her look almost perfect, Paul's done his best to lock it in with a couple of layers of Envy Futureproof+. I'm impressed just by the gloss and I hope I'll be the same for many months to come, perhaps even years. After all that, now for the glamour. She came up alright. Looking ever better outside, in the sunshine. As you can imagine, I'm absolutely delighted with the outcome. From following Revolve Automotive on Facebook for years, I had really high expectations but Paul's manage to surpass them with his skill. It's almost a different colour, much more like the 'Jet' black that Porsche call this shade. On top of doing amazing work on the car, the process of booking in, discussing what work was needed, talking through options for coatings, agreeing a price and even throwing in a charming courtesy car - the whole service was superb and I'm really, really pleased. If you want to do something special for your pride & joy, I can't think of much better - I think it even goes a bit quicker. http://www.revolveautomotiveltd.com
  25. Weird one that. Not seen it before. There’s nothing in the settings I can do for you on that issue, sorry mate.
