  1. Mmmm peanut butter. I can almost taste the umami...
  2. EPIC! If you ever fancy popping that lot into a Zed, you know, for the challenge of it all. I'd let you do it for next to nothing on mine. I'll even drive her up there, good to go, next day
  3. he might have a point, but everyone has an inner chav just trying to get out! They're a future classic surely?
  4. They seem to be available at not unaffordable prices and look like a ton of fun and are obviously JDM as **** The Internet at large says the transmission is made of chocolate, but a few owner forums say they're not as bad as that if the cars are stock and not hammered. Curious if anyone's ever owned one and how they rated it. Could it be a fun daily?
  5. Surely, if you were selling you'd request a deposit Dan, as opposed to expect the buyer to offer one?
  6. It's not about buyer's or seller's perspective it's about agreeeing one thing and doing another. If a seller wants to "welcome new interest" or auction it (as it's usually called), go straight to an auction sight and put it up. Don't agree a price on here in principle with someone who needs it, then go to an auction site knowing full well that you've got your reserve price in your pocket, but you might be able to flush out a few quid extra. If the OP's original offer wasn't good enough, why accept it but auction it on the side. It's a @*!# way to conduct yourself, all assuming what's been posted by the OP is how it went down, and, as yet there's no reason to believe otherwise.
  7. A huge chunk of the benefits of being on here is to hear about the good experiences people have had buying items that you yourself then need to purchase, particularly as it's more or less a single model forum The rest is a mix of "bantz", watching Dan go mental about mixed rubber or 'lack of involvement' or eating something big, Gang waxing lyrical about EVs, people going mad for/against stance or for/against Jeremy Clarkson, Darren's gorgeous 240, Zed Shed activity and that thread with the stuff that looks like people For brakes OP, DBA T2 discs + Ferodo DS2500 pads are working for me, if you don't mind a little squeal at first.
  8. F*&^ !!! I actually shouted. I'll leave my man card at the door on the way out
  9. No otherwise it wouldnt have been a sacrifice! mind you i think one ant did as it didnt get stuck in the web it fell to the floor but the spider still came out! I'm not a spider scientist or anything but couldn't you just give the web a tap with something to lure out? Or are they cleverer than I give them credit for? Or did you just sacrifice the ants on an alter to appease the spider gods?
  10. He's not got CCTV has he?
  11. Told you, you'd like it... TBF, I do like the way it goes on and the end result, I just wish I could get an indoor space to apply and remove it.
  12. No mods for a while but I do have a whole host in transit, just waiting to get them on and some paint on the lip after Bushgate. So in the meantime, I gave her some love. Finished off some Meg's Gold Class that's been taking up shelf space, a deep wheel wash with Envy's excellent Evolution, a towelling off with AMMO Hydrate (which is just FAB-U-LOUS!), then something I really dislike doing, a coat of wax - specifically, Auto Finesse Desire. Matt made me buy this in an Amazon sale and I've only used it a couple of times because... I dislike waxing due it being two hundred times easier to quick detail or spray wax. Also 99% of the time the conditions are wrong for outdoor application. Either it rains at least three times when you're trying to apply it or, like today, it's red hot and it's cured before you can even say swipe test . Then you spend 10 minutes trying to get the damn stuff off and find wax dust everywhere. HOWEVER, I must say, after all the faff, I was rather pleased with the results, so pleased I took her for a little drive and some pics A little trip down to the pleasure beach to check out the Hollywood Mums. On to sunny St Annes. And a couple of mandatory close ups. The stupid gulls tried to ruin the whole thing buy leaving a gift (right whilst I was stood there the cheeky bastards) but the joke was on them, as I'd only waxed the driver's side at this point, HAHA stupid birds, who's winning now? After all that, a well earned reward for all my hard work, Jaffa Cake cake. NOM NOM.
  13. Over 120, you'd have murdered the beemer. NA MUSCLE FTW
  14. Apparently being full on C unit is an equal opportunities position.
  15. I've seen people use Tardis and I've used some different Waxybox samples. They smell like the end of the world, so I'll be ordering this next. http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/dodo-juice/tarmalade-tar-rubber-and-glue-remover.aspx I like the idea of it being thicker and clinging to tar and bugs for a few minutes before removal.
  16. Wonder if you can get anything off car and home insurance premiums if your fully CCTV'd up? Might pay for itself eventually. Any cheapo garage space to rent in walking distance?
  17. Call the fedz, if you witnessed it maybe some else did? Did your Mrs see it? Be good to have a second witness. Any CCTV nearby? They might not do anything but they only other alternative will end up with them coming round anyway
  18. Sure it's not stones in the undertray or the plastic scuttles midway along the underside?
  19. Hang on, isn't there two cylinders missing from this outcome? Glad you like it
  20. Apparently they're not keen on lemon, peppermint essential oil or conkers. http://www.theguardian.com/direct-line-fixology/2014/sep/19/top-tips-for-keeping-spiders-out-of-your-home Suggest dangling a couple off your wing mirrors
  21. Of course we're jealous the OP's got a free rental lambo and it's awesome. I'd enjoy a bit of bantz for one. Hell, I don't even want to say what else I might be prepared to do for one It's a chance of a lifetime.
  22. Ooooh I want this so I can transplant your goodies to my Zed!!!!
