  1. Before you set off for Norway, on my recent road trip I couldn't move for EVs around the cities, but they dried up pretty quick after Bergen and further north. In one place up North on the border between Norway/Sweden, I asked a local (at a petrol station ironically) for the nearest cash point, it was nearly a 4 hour round trip. I bet they have more cash points than superchargers
  2. I meant more for any big jobs you might need, not just modding fun. If I see any Mugen goodies lying around I'll just keep it to myself
  3. The drag must be insane
  4. Just trying to be helpful mate They come from all over to see him, last time I was there a guy had come up from Norwich and one from Northern Ireland, if you ever need a specialist - http://www.grinspeed.co.uk
  5. My tech is a Honda specialist and he's just expanded into carrying more uprated goodies...
  6. You don't use software to do it "properly"? How do you move the ones and zeros?
  7. I love these pieces. "Shock as password protected, remotely wipeable device is not secure, unlike traditional wallet cash card combo" the other day was it, "driverless cars hacked in shocker", as if car jacking or people simply driving into stuff as per Glasgow bin men isn't already a thing
  8. There's a couple of ways. A quick google will reveal any amount of recovery software you can download (take usual precautions downloading off the web), install and attempt recovery, which you may want to try first. That said, given how important your proposal photos will be to you, if that doesn't work, I'd be tempted to do another google for Data Recovery Specialist and then get them to do it for you, assuming you don't mind them seeing what's on there. http://www.alphr.com/blogs/2013/10/16/how-to-recover-photos-from-a-corrupted-memory-card
  9. Never seen a Zed so clean underneath, looks mint
  10. Trip wires hooked up to paint bombs? At least they'll be easy to spot
  11. Yeah, they always bump the prices for these things. Helpfully my mum's got a place out there with a gite on the side, so it won't put a big dent in funds. Though, if I get my way, as we've got a week between games, I'll be pushing for a trip through Monaco down to Modena for the super car factories which might change that
  12. I'm a Barclays man too, so I just set it up with my Amex instead. Again I really cannot see the advantage of using your watch over your phone, it might save a second, or two. My life is really not so busy I cant get my phone out. Or the advantage over a contactless credit/debit/Oyster card for that matter. Especially in the example of the London Underground... I just don't "get" it either. I used apple pay on the tube last weekend, it was amazeballz. BUT I'm not a London regular, so it only saved me queuing behind 300 chinese students at the ticket machine. This scenario is obviously a very limited use case However, the oyster thing is on the right, and I wear my watch on the left, so I just used my phone and thumbprint to applepay. It worked quickly and felt futuristic. If I was a London regular I wouldn't bother with an oyster card now, the phone was dead easy to use and one less thing in my wallet and never needs topping up. However, using it on my left handed watch would be a minor exercise in contortion You can just use your contactless debit card too - I go into london all the time and just use that - no extra or less hassle than using a phone. Contactless is good, but I do find it easier to get my phone out than a contactless card as they're in my wallet, also my Amex isn't contactless and I use it the most because it has the best benefits. Obviously that's not the same for everyone though. I wouldn't suggest for a minute that it's best for everyone, but it's a very quick and easy way for me to pay. Given the absence of security on contactless cards, I would now prefer none of mine to be contactless and simply use my phone which requires my fingerprint.
  13. Any quicker and it's more or less teleportation
  14. I had to do some filing to make mine fit too. They've not come loose in 2 and a bit years

  16. I already knew what did, but now I have metrics!
  17. Thanks Stu. I'd always fancied an FN2 at some point and now is the perfect time. Won't be doing much to it really more just enjoying it as is, tidying up any bits that set my OCD off and maintaining it. You have to appreciate different cars for their different attributes. Sure I miss the Zed and especially it's power but the Civics not all bad & essentially does the same thing which is get me around. Not tempted by a Teg?
  18. LM happens all the time, the Euros are special!
  19. I find the Mugen Type Rs to be rather saucy. Glag you're not too disappointed after your cracking Z.
  20. Stutopia

    My 911

    Very nice
  21. So I sat for a while and let her idle, once warm, for a good while, no lumps, just a solid 800 rpm. I took a snapshot of some fuel trim data at idle: and also some with the cruise set at 40mph Car still seems to drive fine? Any thoughts?
  22. I'm super excited, today UEFA recieved my envelope of used fifties and gave me tickets to a group game and 1st knockout round match for Euro 2016 in sunny France Me and a mate bid for 8 groups of tickets and I won two. I'll be off next summer to see: Group F Team 2 v Group F Team 4, in Marseille Runners Up Group A v Runners Up Group C, in Saint-Eitenne (aren't they a band?) I've been a fan of Group F Team 4 since I was a lad, so I'm delighted to have won tickets Anyone else been updated today and won tickets? Zed convoy?
  23. How do we get this removed from the internet? Can we do a petition or do the team have the skills to hack it and replace with a picture of any Porker
  24. Well the time of doubt is over, today I found the greatest reason to have an apple watch. In a particularly tedious meeting about Agile methodologies and how they can be applied to Business Critical services, I was able to overlay the periodic heart rate mesurements from my apple watch against my activity in my Outlook calendar. By checking the meeting time and scope I can predict with a high degree of scientific accuracy which subjects make my p!ss boil. I can further extrapolate from the meeting attendees in Outlook, specifically which idiots I deal with that make my p!ss boil the most. This may be the first known measure of colleague idiocy that can be applied to a working environment
  25. They suck. I was about to sign up last season, until I found out there was an additional charge on top for HD! In this day and age? It drives me nuts when something I want to watch is only in crap-o-vision. Maybe they could do a deal where it's only a quid to subscribe in black and white! Sky might be a wedge more, but at least they got more than one channel I wanna watch (only Sky Atlantic and a couple of he movie channels mind). With the CL moving entirely next year it looks like you basically just have to suck it up. Obvs it is all for the good of the consumer, I just haven't quite figured out how I'm better off as a consumer than before BT's hand delivered state monopoly allowed it to outbid genuine competition and become a TV station. Hopefully it'll be the next ONdigital.
