  1. This is hilarious..!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=Nh8pSPmKupc
  2. This is from the DVLA Web Site. So its cheaper to pay 6 months tax by direct debit than pay it in one hit..!!! :scare: (They have even spelt totaling wrong..!!) 6 month rate £156.75 12 month rate £285.00 6 monthly by direct debit totalling £149.63 12 monthly by direct debit totalling £285.00 Monthly by direct debit totalling £299.25 (Monthly payment of approximately £24.94)
  3. Sorry to hear this Chris. I know quiet a few people who have had a bypass opp and all have been successful, I went to see one last week who is in The Royal Free he should be home next week, as said above about 2 weeks stay in hospital. Best Wishes to your Dad for a speedy recovery.
  4. Good luck for the weekend, cannot wait to see the finished pics
  5. Is it worth swopping out your discs and pads when selling..
  6. There's lots on fleabay, but those seem the best quality ones. Best to put a coat of clear lacquer over them as well.
  7. Great video, love that car.
  8. There you go... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nismo-Wheel-Spoke-Decal-Sticker-350Z-S14-S15-GTR-200SX-WD32-/271166036498?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f22c15a12
  9. Happy Birthday chap. Have a good one.
  10. Totally agree Jetpilot. It looks like, as suggested a few pages back on this thread that if you declare the car SORN on line when you sell it it automatically triggers a tax refund from the month you sell it. So if I had done that end of Nov it would have given me 3 months rebate, and no agro. Then the buyer has to just tax it on line to use it. Does that work .
  11. Slightly off topic. They lost the retention certificate for my plate when I wasn't using it. I sent it to them and £25 to keep it on retention for another year, not only did they loose it they then told me I no longer had title to the plate as I had not renewed the retention in time. What a nightmare that was. :scare:
  12. Even I noticed those recently, also a lot more average speed cameras about.
  13. A real Beauty. love the Masser sound track..
  14. Yep stuck it in the post box on the 30th on the way to the pub, so it went on Monday as the 30th was a Sunday, but that's not what the DVLA web site said... They acknowledged the car was sold on the 30th, as they issued the log book dated the 30/11/14 and they would refund full months from then, It should be irrelevant when they receieved it, it should go on the date when I no longer owned the car.. So it was posted in December? Case closed I know it's shite, it should be done daily as I said before, but it's been processed as per the terms. Not over yet..waiting for a reply to my last fax to them. "He who dares wins" as Del Boy said...

  16. You are probably right Colin. But I'll give them a good fight, be interesting to see what they say to my latest fax to them. If I don't get my £50 back at least I be happy that its cost them more in admin replying to me.
