If you are keeping the car at least 2 or three years then it is worth it, if not then it is not cost effective. But when do mods ever make financial sense

I've not had any problems with a difference in shine or gloss. The front end is covered in this pic and it was on 6 months when that was taken. It's not the cheapest though.

I had the same so after the second respray I had the front covered in a clear film, over a year on and about 3 slights marks on the film but nothing has touched the paint.
