Oh dear, poor girl I am sure that it will be worth it for her in the end though because, like you say, it is a wonderful opportunity and I am sure she will enjoy it more once she gets home, if that makes sense?
You're not alone. I find driving my Zed very 'therapeutic' and destressing too Same with riding my horse. I often go to the yard feeling a bit stressed from work but I forget all my worries once I am with my beautiful horse, Finella I think any hobby which you really enjoy can have this effect.
Some lovely pets have been added since I last viewed this thread
Here's a pic of Tony (Mr Two Bears) and our latest kitty rescue, Sabbath. Our daughter works at a cat sanctuary and he was called Blake there but we are now calling him Blake Sabbath - geddit?
Sounds like our Evoque which is making a similar noise at the moment. I thought that was a wheel bearing and I was right. Getting it fixed under warranty because it shouldn't really happen on a new car I don't think?
Vik, it wasn't that one that I went to but I love some of the rings on that site, especially that beautiful Art Deco turquoise one. Wonder if I need to visit Hatton Garden again for any reason-lol
What wonderful imaginations some of you possess My daughter is afraid of spiders and is always 'seeing' spiders when she wakes up. I am not afraid and never see spiders when I wake up. Wonder what that tells us? Ok, I could be short-sighted ...
We went to Hatton Garden and chose the diamond for my engagement ring but I can't for the life of me remember the name of the broker. Sorry It's a nice way to choose a stone though. Feels more personal than just buying a ring ready made and you can have the stone cut in whatever way you like (although the jeweller will give you advice according to which stone you choose) and have your own choice of setting too.
Are congratulations in order by the way?
Oh yes, I can't deny that I want to but I have promised Mr Two Bears that I will be good for the rest of this month as I've already had my 'driving fun' for August in the form of a 4x4 day with the Evoque. Got to say I did enjoy it but it doesn't even come close to a track day which is the BEST FUN EVER (well avec clothing of course, no offence Mr Two Bears )!
re the Madrid thing, Tony has been head-hunted for a job in Madrid so we are off to live there early next year. He's on 6 months garden leave at the moment so our garden is looking quite splendid .... or it would be if he actually knew which ones were weeds and which were my prize dahlias
Imagine being asleep and that monster decides to walk across your face!
Well if I was asleep I'd never know would I? Unless that is Ryan Gosling woke me up to tell me. Or is that a dream as well? Ryan, where've you gone? D'you know I can't find him anywhere this morning
Sorry, forgot to say 'Nice photos' Love the sandwich van one especially. Quite inspirational
Rickdon, nice to meet you and your partner. You say you met some nice guys but I hope you met some nice women too?
That looked like fun I was in a convoy of one
I was going to inspect the gold loveliness that was LewisDavid's Zed but he got in and drove off before I could walk over
