  1. If only someone had said that to Mr Dickinson I think the end result only lasts a week so I won't have to wear the hijab for long if it does all go wrong Like This Quote MultiQuote
  2. There's a really nice Clarins beauty salon in town so I think I'll be ok there, fingers crossed. I might ask a couple of friends first but I think they go to the other salon whose end results seem a bit too dark for me
  3. Thanks BBK, I am going to go up to the nearest town at lunchtime and book myself in for next week. I will make them absolutely promise not to make me look like a piece of antique furniture that's been polished with too much Mr Sheen
  4. Thanks HaydnH, I've not got a PhD so I should be able to follow the instructions SMD, thanks for your kind offer but NOOOOOOOOOOO BBK, you are just perfect as you are - but I would say that since you're my son
  5. Has anyone here had a spray tan and, if so, what exactly did it involve? I believe that more men are having spray tans these days so I thought it was worth asking It's not something that I would ever have considered previously but I heard a programme on R4 about it and found out that you can actually have a more natural looking tan applied rather than the full David Dickinson I wouldn't leave my house if I were to be sprayed orange or deep mahogany but a light brown colour does appeal I hate sunbathing so I have a farmer's tan most of the year - face, arms but not a lot else
  6. You must have found a very old box of crackers SMD
  7. "how many points for each cyclist " Naughty Those roads look incredible
  8. "Well I might have found victim no 3, hence why I haven't been online much" Aw, that sounds good BBK. You should have told me sooner since I am your adoptive Mummy, in case you'd forgotten!!!
  9. "I have a spying device for my cat" I have Voodovix, I love the image I have of you reading all the texts that your cat has sent to his lady friends I hadn't realised that you divorced people for a living either. Hope I never need your services if Mr TwoBears runs off with an exotic dancer I feel really strongly about having a joint bank account. I know that it doesn't work for everyone but I have this terrible compulsion to tell the truth (just call me Abe Lincoln or even George Washington - oops- folks ) and could never actually lie to Mr TwoBears about how much my horse costs us every month
  10. Hope your big day goes really well and you have a great time
  11. Couldn't people just delete text messages if they were having an affair, or is that too low tech? I don't mind the idea of spy equipment in a James Bond type context but it does make me a bit uneasy in other spheres. I know a woman whose finance hid a recording device in her coat pocket because he thought she was cheating on him (she wasn't) and she found it and dumped him. Served him right in my opinion
  12. Good pic brillomaster It was a tight circuit and for some reason I kept thinking that the gentle right left bends after Bunga Bunga were actually that steep right hander back towards the pit lane Once I'd got that sorted out in my head I was able to increase my lap times. The instructor said that I "Wasn't lacking in the bottle department" which made me smile as I didn't think he'd noticed the bottle of vodka stowed behind my seat for extra confidence Seriously though, I am really enjoying learning how to drive a bit better and goodness knows there's plenty of room for improvement Ken I already have a teeny bit of discreet modification, a bit like a tattoo that no-one ever sees unless they are very friendly with you I do covet glrnet's blue lights mind you
  13. "At least he didn't ask you how you'd get it dirty." No, I suppose I should be grateful for small mercies I did actually give him cleaning instructions for his harness but that spurred him on to ask me at a party a few weeks later what advice I would give him for soothing a sore nipple that he'd just had pierced I advised putting a cabbage leaf on it
  14. Pity you weren't there today too Will! I am really enjoying myself this summer Someone that I know who races BMWs told me last week the that Blyton track had a really tight bend but I didn't find it so maybe I was doing it all wrong?
  15. Yikes! That reminds me of the chap that I used to sit next to at work. He seemed mild mannered enough until one day he came into work with a bag from which he proceeded to get some weird leather harness and asked me, as a horse owner, how I would advise him to clean it. It certainly wasn't a harness designed to fit any horse I've ever seen
  16. Ha ha, I'm having loads of fun Tony is a bit alarmed that I seem to have acquired two expensive hobbies now (got a horse as well)
  17. Had a brilliant morning with Andy McKenna and the lovely Mr Zedders (of course ) at Blyton Park. Unfortunately, the video didn't work but Tony managed to take lots of photos.
  18. smudgeon, I'm sorry that you've been poorly Get well soon and I hope that things start to look brighter for you in the near future. There have been some lovely people on here giving you advice and I am sure that makes you feel less alone. I hope you are exchanging messages with some of them and I am a good listener too if you want a chat
  19. I don't live anywhere urban so can't do urbex but I love looking at the pics online and also exploring old farm buildings around where I live. I would love to visit an old, abandoned mental asylum if got the chance, although would I be as brave when I actually got there I wonder?
  20. Always love to see male model pics posted on here
  21. Thank you. I have certainly never done it as I don't even look under the bonnet because I like what is under there to remain a mystery I do have some pretty blue engine bolts, that much I know, but I would be hard pressed to tell you which mechanical bit was which. I will ask Mr Two Bears in case he has any more idea than I do
  22. I know nothing at all about cars I have to admit so no idea how often new brake fluid and coolant needs replacing? I had it done last year so I am guessing it won't need doing yet?
  23. Hm, maybe I won't be able to use them then as I really can't think what on earth I could buy!
  24. Do the bidders really have to pay if they 'win'? I have always wondered this with these bonkers auctions.
  25. Bit of an odd question I know but I have been given £100 of Nissan customer care vouchers which have to be used by the beginning of next year and I don't know what to exchange them for. They can be used for the purchase of a new Nissan vehicle (not thinking of upgrading yet), service (just had one under warranty so no need to spend it there) or accessories. So it looks like I will have to put it towards accessories but what do I get? What type of accessories do Nissan do that I might need? Like I said it might be an odd question but the dealerships aren't like John Lewis with all the things you can buy neatly arranged in colour co-ordinated displays so I am a bit lost. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
