I couldn't help but notice from your build thread that you've started to descend down the slippery slope of the orange kind.... How about an orange Samco intake pipe? I bought one but haven't used it.

At least someone does. I think that the spokes maybe pointing forwards on the other side. Not sure how this would look If I'm honest.

Just a random question, but one I'll ask anyway, especially following the pics above; will these wheels come 'sided'? If you imagine they have a direction of rotation (like a fan) they will have two different looks, depending which side of the car you're looking at them from. One forwards, one backwards. All the pics above show them going forwards. I know what I mean, even if I haven't explained it very well!

Could be just mine or more likely everyone's but when you look at the weekends (Sat/Sunday) on the calendar they should be in a lighter font colour to the rest of the week (Mon to Friday) but unfortunately it's actually Sunday & Monday that are in a lighter font with Tuesday to Saturday in a darker font colour. Doesn't matter though really. Well spotted GM Thanks Graham....arrived in one piece. Oh yeah! I hadn't spotted that. It's not the one I was referring to! 50 forum point to GM too!

Haha, I know. I wasn't selfishly thinking of me, especially given some of the pics, mods and cars I've seen this year. Forget I said anything!

Just thinking, as each month will be a surprise this year, can we refrain from posting pics and/or mentioning which/whose car features in what month until we're sure everyone has received theirs? I'm guessing with Royal Snail and the snow, we won't all get them on the same day, so leave it a few before posting any pics. I guess comments like "I like [Month}, or [Month is my fav" or "How the f*** did [Month] make it into the calendar" are oaky, as they won't spoil anyone's surprise. But posting " Woohoo, my car is [month]" will mean that anyone hoping their car features will then have a 11-1 chance instead of 12-1, with the odds slowly reducing as people post. You may now call me Killjoy. It was just a though.

Lots of folk have painted theirs (me too). It doesn't need to be high temp paint, as although it get very warm, it doesn't require the VHT stuff. You can use any colour you want. I did.....

Hi All, I purchased these about 12 months ago and they've been stored in my garage, still wrapped ever since, waiting for a time when I needed them. Well, my front tyres are just about to hit the wear indicator (they've lasted longer than expected), so I grabbed my Yoko's and took them to be fitted. However, I'm unable to fit them due to a crack in the tread on each of the tyres. (Pictured below). Lessons learned here: 1. Don't leave tyres stood unused for a year 2. Check tyres fully when received - especially if buying part worns So for road use, they're pretty useless, but I thought I'd put them up here in case any of you drifter types could use them. There's still plenty of tread on them 6.5 - 7mm I can't really ask anything for them, just that you would need to cover postage/courier costs if you wanted them delivered (and maybe a donation so I can buy a drink so I can drown my sorrows)

I believe it's paired to your cars ECU and needs to be professionally unpaired for use in another car. For the faff and cost, he may aswell just buy an aftermarket HU. I could be wrong tho.

18.01.2015 - Hydrodipped! The eagle eyed amongst you may have also spotted I've also fitted a new head unit, recoloured the arm rests on the doors to match the seats and fitted a different gear knob to add to the 'bare metal' theme. I didn't want to go for the default carbon hydrodip; although the carbon does look amazing, one of the great things with the hydrographic transfer is the amount of options available in the film. I wanted a silver or grey console and door handles to tie in with the colour of the car and my re-coloured seats. I started to think of silver flames, skulls and other (even more crazy) ideas, but thought they'd be a bit 'busy' for the interior. I then considered a brushed aluminium or steel look but figured this wasn't busy enough and would look a bit plain unless you looked closely. Still thinking of metals, I thought of this - checker plate!! Bingo! I asked for the base colour (the colour the items are pained before dipping) to be WV2 - The Nissan Gunmetal colour of my car. I'm glad I did. and I'm really pleased with how it all came together. Thanks for reading
