  1. Hello and Louisa. Good luck with your search. Members cars do pop up all the time on here and it's worth travelling to find the right car for you - it is out there, just be patient
  2. Brilliant, many thanks for the prompt and informative replies guys. Very much appreciated.
  3. Hi All, I'm looking to do a brake fluid flush and replace with new. How much brake fluid should I buy to allow me enough to do the job? Cheers, Ian
  4. And if Mike Brewer uses the same parts suppliers that he and Edd use on Wheeler Dealers, the parts will be there the same day - even if they have to order them by post. Or am I the only one that's noticed that when Edd pulls a part that needs replacing off a car, examines it and then says he'll have to order a new one - when the package arrives, he's still wearing the same clothes?
  5. MWTech was thinking of selling his earlier this year, might be worth dropping him a PM. He's got a black 350Z GT, 42k miles, coilovers, new (very nice) wheels and a great wide stance. Think it fell within your budget too EDIT: Found thread - http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/66443-350z-less-than-50k-will-consider-any-age-no-imports-fsh/
  6. Hello and Pete. Congrats on your new purchase

    Exhaust wanted

I've got a new, never gitted Japspeed K2 sat in my garage. Bought it off eBay as a bit of an impulse buy to replace my existing back box. Was only when it arrived and I compared it to the exhaust I already had fitted, that I realised I already had a K2 on the car! Doh! Was gonna keep it as a spare, for when my current one goes, but could be tempted to let it go if you fancy it? I'm fed up of moving the box around my garage! Send me a PM if you're interested.
  8. They're just a vinyl sticker, so just peel 'em off the backing paper and stick 'em on. Whenever I've fitted them to my bikes, I've done it with the wheels still fitted. Should be easy enough to do with the wheels on the car (as you haven't got things like forks and swing-arms in the way). I've never used soapy water, but as Keyser said, it may help you move them about a bit if needed.
  9. So sorry to hear this and I'm sure you can see our thoughts are with you all. Keep us all posted on his condition and let us know if we can be of any help.
  10. They are easy to fit, as they are pre-curved (so you're not trying to bend a straight edge round your wheel). If you do eff it up with a piece, then you normally get a few spare pieces anyway. I think the thicker the stripe, the easier it will be to fit i.e. if you have a thin line (say 3mm), then this will be more obvious if it's a bit 'wobbly'. I'd got for something in the region of 8mm. They'll be easier to fit to loose wheels, rather than trying to fit them once your wheels on the car. I just figured it is a simple way to see what they'd look lioke with the orange lip, rather than going through the expense of getting them painted to discover you prefered them plain!
  11. I think we've all said those words Congrats on your new purchase, great pics too
  12. I've bought a few before (for my motorbikes). They basically come in 4 quarters, with enough vinyl to over lap a little. So for example, you'll just need enough to do 2 motorcycle wheels, which will be 16 pieces in total. Something like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ORANGE-UNIVERSAL-CAR-MOTORBIKE-WHEEL-RIM-TAPE-VINYL-STICKER-VW-SUBARU-SUZUKI-/221126725625?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&var=520110831122&hash=item337c2e0ff9
  13. Very nice You could try vinyl wheel rim tape in orange first, to see what it looks like and whether you like it or not. Easily removed if it's Readily available on eBay for a few quid.
  14. Thanks for the replies guys. The wheels are 19 x8 front and 19 x9.5 rear and the wheel and tyre package was originally supplied to the member I bought them off by one of the very well respected traders on here. Not sure why the 'odd' tyre sizes were provided (they're Falken's), but I'm sure there was a good reason. The wheels are currently sat in the garage at the moment, waiting for the weather to improve so I can fit them (they have a chrome lip, so won't mix well with the grit/salt/crappy road conditions we have at the moment). It's gonna be a suck it and see exercise I think - whatever it takes to make them look right, well, so be it. I'm sure with ET20 on the front and some spacers on the rear, so ET15-20, they'll be fine I'll post some pics and await comments once they're on
  15. Can I be the first to congratulate you........ ;) Doesn't that tick all Shaun's boxes in one go?
  16. and congrats on the new purchase, nice looking Zed. It's gonna be a long few days....
