  1. Hello and Let's see some pics then!
  2. Here you go, as it's Christmas ... http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/45398-bose-phono-ipod-hack-guide/
  3. Hello and to the forum. Congrats on your new purchase.
  4. You've not even bought the car yet, but I can already see Zeditis taking hold....
  5. I was quoted £150 for mine to be done in GM grey but this was reduced to £100 once I offered to do the prep (which wasn't much) myself - just went over it with some fine wet & dry. I got mine from Tarmac and fitting is an easy DIY job.

Hi James and to the forum. The question about racks/bike racks is a frequently asked one and the Boofsquire always seems to crop up in any response. I don't think they're currently being manufactured, and even if they were, getting one over to the UK would be an interesting process. Your 'real world' user feedback is much appreciated, so thank you for that. The Boofsquire is one of those things that we know exists, but finding someone that has used one is rare. I'm sure if you put it in the for sale section of this forum, it would be snapped up as I know a lot of members cycle and have even managed to get their bikes IN the Zed! You'll need a minimum of 15 posts before you can place an ad, but as a former owner, you're as welcome here as anyone else, so feel free to contibute with your Zed ownership experiences and your post count will soon mount up. Cheers, Ian
  7. Hello and Keep an eye on the Yorkshire regional thread for any local meets http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/76-yorkshire/ It'll give you the opportunity to speak to owners and have a good look around the cars. Good luck with the search.
  8. Hello and All of your questions can be answered on here, just use the search and FAQ's. You won't be the first to ask the questions, and certainly won't be the last! Good luck with the search
  9. Hello and Lovely looking Zed. I'd spend your hard earned on other goodies first, the azure is a great colour.
  10. Hello and welcome to the best resource for Zed related info. Good luck with the search
  11. Hello and Be nice to see some pictures of your interior before you fit the cage and seats etc. I'm intrigued to see what the LV treatment looks like...
  12. Hi Anthony, welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new purchase. I came from a Mk1 TT225 coupe and have never looked back. I'm also local to you as I'm in Kidderminster, so I'll keep a lookout for you. Now head over here:http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/78-west-midlands/ and sign yourself up for the mailing list. I know Wasso is looking to arrange a meet every couple of months next year, so it'll be good to meet upi with other members/owners. Lets see some pics then...
  13. Just a thought, but put an ad in the wanted section on here, there maybe a 370Z owner thinking of a change of wheels
  14. I think in a nutshell what this guy is trying to say is, if you want the out-and-out excitement of a go-kart, motorcycle or seat an inch off the floor driving experience of a Westfield, you're not gonna find it in a 350Z. I've had (and still got) some of the bikes he mentions, and they're fantastic at what they do. They're sports bikes. My Ducati has a dry clutch, with an open clutch cover. Unless you knew this, you'd think it sounded like it was about to fall to pieces. Sounds like a socket set in a biscuit tin. It's my toy, it's not a commuter bike. At the end of the day, it's horses for courses. I use my 350Z everyday and do about 1000 miles a month. I love it. I've had many cars and after about 9 months, I start getting bored and looking at what I can get next. I've now had my Zed 9 months and I'm now looking at what I can get next for it. (Yes I have Zeditis). Take some out for a test drive. See if it ticks YOUR boxes on the list that YOU want from a car. It's a great car. And I'm sorry, but when did impressing ladies and blokes down the pub become a bad thing? Did I miss that memo?
  15. Can get a genuine one from the USA for just over £30. Looks like a trusted seller too with international feedback. (Ad even includes a guide on how to retro fit to a 370Z) http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2570e63c11
  16. Dammit. Did I buy the wrong car? So this guy's telling me if I'd bought the Almera, I could of had exactly the same driving experiences and grin factor of the Zed, but with cheaper running costs, cheaper tax, more seats and more praticality? I never even knew Almera's were RWD...
  17. Sorry mate Go pay cash for your tax and put the change in your ashtray. Then, when it's dark, go buy a take-away coffee with the change in your ashtray, marvel at the light you're greeted with when you open it and then enjoy the warm smug feeling you get when you open the cup holder and your hand is illuminated by the guiding light that appears, knowing that us pre-facelifters have to fumble around in the dark for our cups. Much like the same guiding light that led three wise men all those years ago.... (See how I turned that festive?). Do you feel better now Ian?
  18. Oh, so THAT'S why the road tax is more? :1:
  19. OK OK, bit of a random pointless post, but I just needed to share my delight at the discovery of finding my ashtray is illuminated Opened the ashtray last night to put something in it and was greeted by a blinding beacon of light (slight exageration). Had my car 9 months now and she's still surprising me . Come on, who else didn't know the ashtray had a light in it? Or am I the only one? (Awaits comments/questions asking if I knew the windows were electric, seats were adjustable etc)
  20. Hi All, As title, I (well my mate) is after an iPhone 3 or 4 as his has just died. Preferably on Orange or unlocked and in good condition. Would need to be able to dispatch ASAP as he currently is without a phone. If you've got anything, pleae let me know. EDIT: found one Cheers, Ian
  21. Jeez, tough break with your insurance! If you've got the original panel filter (I'm assuming the K&N is just a panel filter too), I'd just put the original back in as the difference the K&N will give you and a standard tune car is minimal. I've got a K&N in mine and my insurance doesn't know about it, shhhh. I only discovered it a few months after I'd bought the car. You could then hold onto it until insurance is due for renewal, or stick it up in the for sale thread on here. Who are you 'new' insurers and who did you move from?
