  1. Cheers Martin. PM on its way very soon.... Edit: PM now sent
  2. Hi All, The time is approaching when I'll need to buy some new tyres. I'm currently running on standard 18's (not Rays) and figure I could put the money towards a decent used set of wheels and tyres. I've been looking on eBay and have seen a few, but for one reason or another haven't bit the bullet. I thought I'd try on here. I'm after a set of either 18 or 19 inch wheels, fitted with tyres. In good or very good condition, with a decent amount of tread left to the tyres. Ideally I want something that I can just fit straight to my car, without the need to buy tyres (kinda defeating the object) or without needing a refurb. I have a set of 20/25mm spacer s if needed and my car is fitted with Brembo's. I'm open to any suggestions and think I'd prefer 19's, but will still consider a nice set of 18's. If you've got something that you think I might be interested in, please let me know. I can of course buy tyres and/or get a refurb if needed, but this would need to be accounted for in my budget. I've got £300 - £400 but could stretch a bit further for the right set. Anyone got anything just cluttering up their garage? Cheers, Ian
  3. My inbox and notification icons move around, depending what browser I'm using. If I'm on IE7, they're in the top RHS, in IE9, they're in the top left. The headings (Home, Forums, Calendar etc) move about too.
  4. AARGH!! I just opened this thread in a busy office. Now afraid to turn around to see who's behind me and may of seen my screen. RTBiscuit - no idea what you were searching for on Google when you came across those mate. That sounds wrong....
  5. I like 'em. Out of curiosity, what would the correct tyre sizes be for 19 inch wheels be that wouldn't cause any traction control issues?
  6. Plastidip make their own lacquer siutable for their products. Normally available from the same places.
  7. All we need now is someone to come along with a brake bleed question and make a reference to nipples....
  8. Looking at photo's of the wheels, the bore size does not appear to have been reduced by spigot rings - I think the 60.1mm is the bore size of the wheel itself. Am I right in thinking that if it had been reduced by spigot rings to 60.1mm then I'd be ok (as long as the original bore was 66.1 or more), but as this is the wheel itself, it's a no go?
  9. Hi All, Apologies for yet another 'will they fit' question, but I've done my Googling and not really found a definitve answer. And it'll be an expensive mistake if I buy them and they don't. So I thought I'd ask the guru's around here. Seen a set of wheels with the following numbers: PCD 114.3 (So that's OK). Fronts are 19 x 8 ET35 Rears are 19 x 9.5 ET35 Tyres currently fitted are 245/40x19 on front and 275/35x19 on the rear, but the rears will need replacing, so could fit different width or profile if needed. The centre bore is 60.1mm, which I think is smaller than the standard Z wheels? I think this is going to be an issue isn't it? Would these wheels fit my Z at all? I have a set of 20/25mm spacers if needed. Thanks guys, Ian
  10. Most of the time there's just a big tit in mine....
  11. I've used the Halfords hi-level universal carrier for my hardtail. Takes a bit of jiggling to get the angles right, but works fine for me. Sits in the numberplate recess and on the top of the boot lid (just make sure your boot is clean first to avoid scratching). Can try take some pics this weekend if you want?
  12. As title. Reg started OUI *** Like in all the panto's I was behind you!
  13. I saw 2 black 350Z's tonight on my drive home - We were in convoy on the M42 between J2 and J1 at approx 5.45pm As I joined at J3 I pulled into the fast lane behind a black zed with an aftermarket rear spoiler. Reg GT04 *** And then at J2, we were joined by another black 350Z that pulled into the fast lane directly behind me I was the gunmetal meat in a black zed sandwich. With the 3 of us in convoy, it must've looked like an episode of Top Gear! Unfortunately I had to pull off at J1 and the two black Zeds continued towards the M5. I just wanted to keep driving! One of you must be on here
  14. Could be your lucky day. Be quick! viewtopic.php?f=32&t=66616
  15. I very recently had the same symptoms and issue viewtopic.php?f=9&t=66317. A new valve sorted it
  16. Now sold. Please close the thread. Ooooo, this is my 350th post aswell! Can I have a sticker now please
  17. Bump. Open to offers before they go on eBay.
  18. Update. Quick trip to Halfords and £1.79 later I have a new valve and working screen washers Thanks guys, you're the bestest.
  19. Thanks again Just to double check before I pull things apart, is this )below) the non return valve?
  20. Nothing exciting I'm afraid Papa Smurf. They were an impulse buy, but with the initial cost of them, plus painting and fitting, I could really put the money to better use elsewhere. Plus could you imagine a 350Z fitted with standard wheels and ride height, fitted with Veilside skirts? Nuff said
  21. Cool, thanks guys. Appreciate the suggestions. Gives me a couple of other things to try.
  22. Hi All, I've got an issue with my front windscreen washer jets. Can someone throw some suggestions (maybe from experience) how I can clean them? Basically pulling the stalk to wash the windscreen produces a dribble out the jets. So I know the fluid is getting there, it's just not hitting the screen with any force. I've tried cleaning them with a sewing needle, by having a good poke and wiggle, but this has had virtually no effect Is there an alternative way of cleaning them? Can they be removed and/or replaced? Or are they all part of the wiper arm? Any suggestions welcome. Cheers, Ian
