  1. I love using my snow foam, but lets face it, it's crap It's a bit of fun, but doesn't really do much. You'd probably be better off getting a pre wash cleanser and let that rest for 10 minutes before power hosing it off and then proceeding with the 2 bucket method and a good soap
  2. What I meant to write was, "Posting this photo's proving difficult because I don't want to save it and upload it to Photobucket." but I got lazy
  3. Yup, definitely got it working now. Never know 'til you know
  4. Right got it, thanks Will. Ya gotta copy the image via right click, then click the "image" button in the panel above and paste in there EDIT: posted this before other posts showed up
  5. Hmmm doesn't work from that website
  6. I'm sure this has been covered at some point, but we all know how great searching is here... Posting from a hosting site is fine, but how do we post from another website? Surely I don't have to save the image then upload it to my Photobucket account when it's obviously hosted elsewhere? So how do I get hold of the embeddable link from website X and post it on Y forum?
  7. Tien S are supposed to be a decent upgrade on the OEM springs. However they are only a 14/17mm drop so IMO not a lowering spring as people keep calling them and recommending for others looking to lower the car. SO, IMO, if you want to lower the car, buy some lowering springs (Apex, Eibach, K Sport etc) if you just want to improve the handling a bit on top of stock, buy the Teins.

    WOT Box?

Your left foot is the best launch control you'll ever find
  9. Anything you can buy on any detailing website will be fine. The best is up to personal opinion. Some like massive amounts of foamy goodness, others just want it to work

    Wanted

The 350Z in their avatar probably?
  11. Are those electric cloth seats? They exist?
  12. i'd love to see how this pans out when it happens - I fail to see how the DVLA can issue a charge due to their ineptitude at dealing with paperwork, when a seller can easily show what date they sold a car and that they sent the letter off in good time to be processed before the end of a month. Would the DVLA continue to chase for payment even if their systems are already showing that someone else has already paid tax on a car? Not a clue how it would work, but in purchasing VED you are agreeing to their T&C's, so it's up to them to enforce it or not. I think the charge is only a 5er, though, so not really a big deal.
  13. Unfortunately they have to rely on people reporting the ads. There are probably hundreds of ads posted every hour, so basically impossible to vet them all.
  14. I like the copper, something different. Be interesting to see how it all comes together How are you finding the Halfords EDGE speakers? Since I was going for an orange theme when I had the Zed, I considered them but didn't hear many good things. However, those reviews were probably by the sort who are willing and able to pay £500 for a pair of speakers.
  15. If you cancel the DD and there is another payment due, probably because they've been dragging their heels and it's taken them too long to process the V5, they can charge you for the bounced DD, so then you'll owe them the months tax plus the charge. Best practice would be to SORN the car online as soon as the car is sold and then let the new owner tax it there and then, which they're supposed to anyway.
  16. When the bank told you, you would be covered, was this over the phone or in person at the branch? The reason I ask is if it's on the phone, they will have a recording of the call and if the evidence suggests that the bank told you it would be fine and you're covered if it's a scam, then surely they are at least part liable? This is a real shitter and I hope you get your money back No need for the stupid rude comments by a couple of ignorant members on the previous page, however.
  17. It becomes an issue on 18's too. Once you lower the car 25mm+ chances are there won't be enough adjustment in the standard camber and toe bolts to bring it back into OEM limits. You can buy adjustable camber arms for about £180 and that'll sort it. Depending on width of the tyre and offset, you may have to roll the rear arches if you lower by 30mm+ too.
