  1. Welcome back! lol Well, as you can see from the list above, we have you down as having SET1. Currently nobody needs them so hand tight until someone does
  2. Go drive some more Zeds I saw, fell in love and bought the first zed I drove. Fantastic price with very low mileage for a 2004 car and had a full dealer service history, BUT its cost me so-far somewhere in the region of 1-1.5k in repairs it needed. Things like an upcoming service, new tyres, bushes, all droplinks and the bill next year to get the aircon fixed all add up very quickly. It was alarming (until I learned better) the amount of noises you hear within the cabin. The zed is just a very mechanical sounding car, still makes me worry sometimes but the only way you will know if that one is a dud is to drive another. I also have the transmission issue with the syncro (as I believe many other members do) but ive just learnt to shift slowly from 5th > 6th and let the revs dull down a little. Cant afford the £800+ for a gearbox to cure a problem that only occurs if your already breaking the speed limit anyway, changing into 6th rapidly at high revs will easily put you over 100mph so don't really see the point...
  3. Naa was definitely the bush, big chunk of rubber with a metal band around the edge. I believe the nut and cone were to replace the ones fitted to the car as Alex always used to recommend replacing them if you remove the arm. Fancied a drive Did try to book locally but couldn't find anywhere that would do it.
  4. Mine received this m orning too but been out all day. Just fitted them and then open and closed the boot 10 times in sheer amazement that it pops on its own and I don't have to catch it ! I just need to sort some new struts now, mine are a little on the feeble side.
  5. ? ? indeed Yeah definitely sounds like the banana arm bushing Il take clark motorsport up on that fantastic price and get the two bushes, cone thingy and the nut, take it to a nice garage and get them both swapped over. Only took Kaizer about an hour to do them both when I had mine swapped.
  6. No worries mate, easily do-able without the guide, but thought some people may find it interesting
  7. Sounds exactly like mine mate as I said, I could feel it too. Changed all 4 droplinks and everything but it was an audible creak from the wheel area, that where yours is coming from?
  8. Correctamundo. I had the same thing and my banana arm on the drivers side had totally separated from the bush despite me hearing the noise over on the passenger side. I drive for about 8 months with the noise though Just bought the bush kit from Alex, I assume Clark Motorsport so the same kit, was around £80 for one bush for each side, two cone shaped things and two nuts iirc
  9. Brill, really glad you had no fitting issues mate. The front bulbs look so much better
  10. cs2000

    Falkens 453

Me too, actually run them at 36PSI. The zed just gives a hard ride all the time to be honest, noticed no ride quality change from the REO40's on before.
  11. Sorry if a report, but looks as though we will be waving bye bye to the tax disk http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/car-tax-discs-face-end-2891414 Im glad tbh, never seen the need to display the paper version, and will nicely clean up the windscreen area Also, they have said that from when the law is introduced next year, you can pay for your road tax monthly by direct debit, possibly opening up some cars to some people who couldn't stomach the expensive VED
  12. OK, I want in (again...) can you PM me payment details mate?
  13. Will check what I have in stock and drop you a PM later (not that it should be a problem, but want to double check) You will also be my guinea pig as I havnt sold any to any 370 owners yet, just somewhere around 30 350 owners.
  14. If in doubt, id go larger. I know the wires leading up to the ballast are only 12v, but not sure on the amperage but the standard headlamp fuse is a 10amp so.... As for access holes http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/45605-firewall-holes-where/ this thread mentiones theres a hole behind the brake fluid res that drops into the footwell.
  15. Not read the whole topic so forgive me if ive missed something, but anyone thought od using a debit card?? My account is a bog standard account and yet I managed to pay £5,500 on a standard debit card to buy the zed after I paid £1000 earlier in the week to the same guy. If the bank does block the payment all it takes is a 5 min bank call to get the funds released. EDIT: Just read its a totally private seller, hmm, well id just take someone with me and take the cash tbh. Cant rely on a bank transfer being done in time.
  16. I cant do it, tried several times and I just give up. Wish there was some kind of mod you could do the mimicked the auto rev matching you get in other cars such as the 370.
  17. Posting another set of these out today guys Got about 2-3 sets of stock left before il have to order some more of certain bulbs so get your order in if you want them before Christmas as there is a lead time on some of my stock as some bulbs come from Hong Kong.
  18. Is it weird that im really looking forward to getting these back.... I mean, its just a spring... lol
  19. Yes exactly the same procedure, its just a pain in the ass to get the timings correct! You will get it eventually.
  20. Not the ejector seat then Lol, will is correct, emergency boot release so you cant keep anyone hostage in there....
  21. Nope, only time this has ever happened was the day I picked the car up from buying it. windows were all frosted up too but I didn't have any fuel to wait for it, had to wipe myself a small port-hole and drive a totally "foreign" car to the petrol station which thankfully was only a mile away. (then the fun ensued when I had to figure out how to open then petrol cap...)
  22. No it was a half hearted attempt at becoming a trader - i bought a load with the intention of making LED versions, but it ended up being too much work. Here is the final set i made which i was pretty pleased with, which i sold with the car. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/67074-led-reflectors/page__hl__reflectors Free little bump for you, and I agree! Hence why I stopped making mine. The time involved in a single set was somewhere around 1.5-2 hrs and that was with no problems!
  23. Haha yes the wires are all rather tight! Some more vanity mirror bulbs are on the way to you as soon as you let me know your address again Received more stock of those bulbs so these are now available for sale again
  24. Such a shame. Yes the films are full of plot holes, but I lived them all ! Can't believe he's gone, and through no fault of his own
