  1. Thanks for the invite mate! I will see how I can get an entry. I made up 2 seconds at Gurston with 888r tyres over standard on a 40 second run so it's not impossible.

  3. Hope mine are wrapped up on the shelf ready to post out soon! Lol.
  4. Nice one Ian. That motor is going to sound awesome on full chat!
  5. Here is a pic of my Miltek from Tarmac. Not droney at all and only barks if you really boot it and I'm boosted with de cats.
  6. Good progress my friend. I know a cracking guy called Tim but there is know way I'd let him loose with Radical wiring!! Hang on to this guy. Lol
  7. Thought about this one but have been told that many aftermarket seats sit higher than the standard Z seats. I'm already struggling with headroom with them being 6 foot plus wearing a helmet so not sure what to do.
  8. Thanks guys for all your words of support. I will post up pics of the drivetrain upgrade over the coming weeks and a list of the events I'm going to have a crack at next year.
  9. Since the rather nasty crash at the Gurston Down Speed Hillclimb last September and subsequent painfull rebuild I've had a had a fairly Quiet season of shows this year to ease myself back into the land of Zed. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/102295-andyjames-supercharged-silver-pheonix-rebuild/ Now she is back and looking better than ever I'm thinking can I race this car again? After enjoying the first few static shows this summer I thought "this is nice,no risk and lots of polishing which I love. So after a bit of research I started thinking along the lines of maybe I could have the best of both worlds and keep the Pheonix for shows and the occasional track day and buy another car for the sprints and Hillclimbes. Tango man Ian (thanks for all your help mate)wet my appetite with thoughts of a Clio a182 cup and have a crack at the under 2000cc class championship. Well after a Great deal of soul searching I've come to this conclusion. I modified my Zed to enhance its performance to be fast on track but i know it's not the best car to win the sort of events I compete in because it's heavy, has rear wheel drive, and a manual gearbox but I really missed the rush of driving the old girl flat out and on the edge to the best of our ability and that's why I'm going to get back out there and give it a bloody good go next season! Fortunately the worm has turned to level the playing field on many events which now have 2 wheel drive classes. The biggest issue with the Zed(especially a big power car)is traction and I have struggled so much in the past so over the winter I'm going to address this. On order from Clark Motorsport is a Kazz 1.5 Diff and an Extreme twin plate clutch from Clark Motorsport. To add to my own safety if just fitted a four point harness. I will post up further progress and the events I will be entering. Thanks to all have helped me to continue on the incurable path of Zeditus.
  10. Nice car! Welcome along to the forum
  11. After trying a couple of others which in my opinion may sound better the Miltek system is the best all round exhaust to allow a boosted car to breath and pass a sound test on a track day. The last time my car was tested with the test pipes fitted it was 98db.
  12. Will drag mine out and take a look.
  13. Swapped my kenwood over to a pioneer DA120 and had crap reception on the radio with my Perrin stubby aerial. Tried the long pole free line Tuna catcher AKa the standard Nissan one to no avail! Is this a Pioneer problem or is the anologue signal being watered down so we are all forced to switch to DAB?
  14. So sorry to read this Pete. Katrina and I wish Caroline a speedy recovery and hope to see you both next year.
  15. Don't think I'm gonna keep up with this one on the straights! Lol Great skills in the Z shed as ever.
  16. I'm running 470 rwhp with a GTM supercharger which before the little accident I had last year the standard bumper seemed ok. Fitted the the V3 as part of my rebuild and the car pulls so much harder due to the open design in front of the intercooler. Any of the bumpers you have shown would work in my opinion but save yourself a bucket load of cash/heartache and buy something that fits properly. My genuine V3 might have been expensive but it bolted straight on.
  17. Congratulations on your new arrival and your cunning reshuffle of the fleet which sees the Z at the helm!
  18. Sorry to see you and many other fellow zedders moving on over the past few weeks. Good luck for the future chap.
  19. Got all I need from Halfords to sort out my Chargespeed skirts and bumper. They do an aluminium mesh in there Ripspeed range. Think it was Around £15 a sheet.
  20. Some poor souls we know have defected to the dark side of non Zeditus or are too loved up to respond í ½í¸ª
  21. Wow! It's a credit to you and the builder whom wants to remain anonymous as he has too much work booked in already! Lol
