Ok guys Im not expecting any sympathy but I'm on holiday until Sunday so doing this on my ifone! I've had an email back from the organisers today giving me the heads up on having our own individual stand this year which I have now set up. I have just gone through the whole process booking the various tickets and passes and successfully made it through to the checkout! To simplify things a little this is what you need to do. Go onto the Japfest website and click on Silverstone. http://www.japfest.co.uk/japfest-home Scroll down and click on clubs. Under where it says "part of a club" click on "click here". Click buy your tickets here. Select our club in groups 350z-U.K. Enter the password nissan350zed (all lower case) You now are able to select the various tickets on offer. IMPORTANT BIT!! You must buy a show entry ticket for every adult in the car and you must request a club vehicle pass. Also at this point you can book camping for the night before and also track time. Once you have paid for your tickets you get an email straight away so the whole process is quite straight forward. Once you have paid can you post up by your name on the list PAID and if you have booked TRACK TIME. The numbers are growing nicely!! Happy New year to you all.

Once the stand is booked we have plenty of time to finalise numbers. I won't get any info from the organisers until next week so all we have to do at the moment is keep on building up the amount of Zeds so we are given a good area to set up our club stand.

I know it's the no mans land bit between Christmas and new year and everyone is bloated, skint, fed up with the relatives and resting before the New Year celebrations but a gentle bump to keep the thread in the headlines. Last year we joined forces with 300z and the 240/60 guys which ended up with a very impressive 100+ car stand. I have emailed the organisers(back online 3rd Jan) to see if we can set up our own stand or whether we should group up again and form a big multi Z stand.

I'll let you know when it's fitted mate, but I'm told the push out of corners is amazing! On a big power car the viscous one struggles so you are already ahead of me! The clutch is a no brainier as the one I have struggled in my last season, spinning up and was holding me back on launches off the line. -

Christmas has been hectic as ever as you all know but quietly in the background work and parts have been arriving for the next season. I got the Rays refurbed and picked them up just before the festive shutdown and I have to say " The Wheel specialists in ferndown did an amazing job. The Kazz 1.5 super Q diff is here. I have to say that the extreme twin plate clutch is a thing of beauty and if anyone does a Perspex bell housing I'd be up for it as it seems a shame to hide it away!Lol. Once the the drivetrain has been installed and a set of sticky toyo R888R boots have been fitted the old girl is ready to go. Next job is to try and refresh the crusty old driver.... -
2007 was the year she was new and we first met. This is the oil burning classic car I want to drive in 2027.

Merry Christmas everyone. Here's to another year of Zeditus

Numbers growing fast, well done guys. Once the club stand is booked after the new year we can discuss tickets/ track time/hotels/convoys etc.

Hi guys. I know it's close to Christmas but I thought I would start a list to gauge interest before I book the club stand in the new year. Please take a look at the link below to get a feel for what is available at what is considered to be the best Japanese car show of the season combined with our very own GP circuit venue. http://www.japfest.co.uk/ I also want to wish all fellow Zedders a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year. 1.Andy James +1 2.Buster +1 3. Keyser +1 4.

Moving on nicely mate. Biggest turbo I've seen on a bike engine away from Santa Pod!

Thanks for all you kind words guys they are much appreciated. I will post up a new thread along with the relevant links over the next couple of days.

Can't agree more. If all your after is big power and acceleration the GTR is the most cost effective route. Zeditus is a nasty illness and as I and others have found out you can throw an awful lot of cash chasing big numbers. Everyone knows and expects the GTR to be quick but a bespoke boosted 350/370 that blasts away from exotic cars on track that by rights should be in their rear view mirror is a price worth paying if you want to drive a sleeper. I'm biased as I have incurable Zeditus and also leaving this forum is not an option! Lol

Happy birthday Chris! Hope Kim and the girls are going to spoil you later.

Thanks for the invite mate! I will see how I can get an entry. I made up 2 seconds at Gurston with 888r tyres over standard on a 40 second run so it's not impossible. -

Thought about this one but have been told that many aftermarket seats sit higher than the standard Z seats. I'm already struggling with headroom with them being 6 foot plus wearing a helmet so not sure what to do. -

Thanks guys for all your words of support. I will post up pics of the drivetrain upgrade over the coming weeks and a list of the events I'm going to have a crack at next year.
