Ask and he shall appear It depends on what you’re after but if you want flake pop for a good price I’d always go for Natty’s Blue or Red (possibly black but I haven’t actually tried that yet despite owning a pot for about a year now!). AF Desire was good (very good actually) but not convinced that it’s worth 8 times the price of the Poorboys. AF Illusion is actually better in terms of looks, but doesn’t have the durability of Desire (or Poorboys which sits between the two). But then if durability isn’t an issue at all, Obsession Wax Phaenna is pretty special. It does tend to completely fall off after a couple of weeks (tops) though. Which AF wax have you had trouble with? They’re all pretty good but if you’re having trouble buffing you’re likely using too much - try applying with a damp (not wet) applicator and keep spreading forever. Really you shouldn’t ever need more than 2 swipes per panel (maybe 3 for the whole bonnet) at any time. Soft99 are good hybrids, akin to FK1000P, so they’re good for gloss but dull the flake pop. They tend to be quite durable and also full of fillers too. BH Double Speed again is very good but is also a hybrid so lacks the depth and richness of a traditional carnauba wax. So in summary; Short lifespan; Phaena Medium lifespan but cheap; Natty’s blue/red Medium lifespan but treat yourself; Illusion Long lifespan and someone else is paying; Desire.

Love Island is the one single reason to divert all energy usage away from “entertainment” and plow it all into transport. -

Like others I believe that we do need to utilise renewable energy and stop relying on fossil fuels, the sooner we do that the better. But as I’ve said before, the current “solutions” still rely heavily on fossil fuels themselves to produce and maintain. That’s not a solutions, that’s a stop gap, and investing heavily in this now is simply shifting the problem. Investment should be made into truly renewable energy. And that is why I’m resistant. -
That’s a bit like saying I’d prefer a hamster to chew my legs off than a badger; I’m still going to lose my legs either way. *full disclosure, in my first version of this analogy it wasn’t legs...

So, ignoring the fossil fuels required to make the panels in the first place, how the f**k is that a solution to problem of everyone having an electric car?? Or if it isn’t, what’s the relevance to this conversation? -

Even if the wind is just right, turbines still require a significant amount of oil to operate at all... -

How do you propose to produce all this extra electricity without polluting? And all those extra batteries which contain precious metals? A wider question though, is there any evidence that the carrier bag charge has reduced the production of plastic carrier bags at all? Just curious. -

That would be the definition of (global) climate, yes. Unfortunately so few people understand the difference between climate and weather and therefore use the latter as “proof” of climate change. -
I concur, both of the standard examples left in existence will go up in value.

XJ220. Just because. And the Supra. They should definitely bring back an actual Supra*... *This isn’t true. I couldn’t care less about the demise of Supra actually.

How do you not fall down more?!?

Yep, there’s semi-Auto, semi-manual, automated manual, Continuously Variable...

For agreements sake, in the same way it’s not a bicycle.

Not to mention this, apparently quite popular, notion that, at best, all teachers/schools (at worst all those living "alternative" lifestyles) have agendas to push on kids. If that really is a concern for you as an individual, you should be more concerned with the belligerent teaching of religion and politics over all else.

That’s (almost) how it works, yes. It’s not a simplistic as your view of the world, of course, and it’s not about “when it suits” but at a very high, over-simplified level, yes.

Only one at a time though. Can’t let be influenced by other kids...

By that rationale you could oust any subjective subject from school; no need to “teach” art or music, people can make what they like of those subjects. Or even going right back to pre-school and nurseries all across the country; ban that teaching of “free play” nonsense, kids shouldn’t need to learn how to interact with other children until they want to. When did any education become a such a terrible thing in your life that you would deny anyone else of some knowledge?

I mean if you're going down that route, at least do it properly a wear a full face crash helmet (complete with Hans device, obviously) every time you leave the house. Or just go everywhere dressed as the Stig from now on. I have nothing sensible to add to this thread forum.

Fine, I'll be the one to say it then. Dan, you're a f***ing disappointment to us all!!! What were you thinking, becoming a responsible adult and stuff?! I mean, congratulations and all that. Traitor.
