  1. That. Try claying first, depending on which clay you've got (and how aggressive it is) it should shift overspray.
  2. Peanut butter works for removing stains from plastic trim. GTechniq C4 for the trim. As for cleaning, an IPA wipe-down will suffice before C4. The rubber will benefit from being "fed" periodically to keep it at it's best, so Einszett Gummi Pfledge for the rubber a couple of times a year.
  3. To be fair, these two would be more accurate so far this season given the thread title;
  4. Didn't occur to you to try another insurer then?
  5. I wonder if they're planning a sequel They're bringing out a prequel soon, the X4. I just wonder how pointless they'll make that one. Apparently the X5 is too big but the X3 is too small... Edit; Curses, beaten to it!
  6. Vauxhall Zafira's - everyone who drives a Zafira is a ****. Fact. BMW X5 - pointless status symbol used almost exclusively for the for the school run. And the BMW X6 because the X5 just wasn't pointless enough.
  7. If all else fails, activated carbon should absorb pretty much any odour.
  8. Bin the AG stuff and buy some Tardis. Job, jobbed. Is this the same one the Doctor uses? Sadly, it's not bigger on the inside. But it does come in a blue box (well, tin, but it is blue.)
  9. Bin the AG stuff and buy some Tardis. Job, jobbed.
  10. Apply a second coat about 10-15 minutes after the first to get more shine.
  11. It depends on whether the insurer sees the GT pack as a "modification" or as a separate model as such, at a guess.
  12. Mint Rims is a very good rival for Poorboys in terms of performance and ease of use, the only real difference for me is that Poorboys just beats it on price - albeit only by a few quid but Poorboys is roughly 25% cheaper for the same performance. I can't really fault Mint Rims at all though (and obviously this is just my personal opinion).
  13. Basically that. Although I disagree about Poorboys though - as with pretty much any detailing product though, it almost always comes down to personal preference. Nano sealants will always out perform any wax and so will usually be the best choice for most people for that reason alone, however I personally think that Poorboys is often underrated - it's more than adequate for 3 months protection at a time, it's easy enough to use that even the most ham fisted application is easily buffed off and at that price nothing else comes close to it. Also, some (admittedly not all) nano sealants can be a bit fussy about how it's applied (at certain temperatures, etc) whereas Poorboys can be applied in pretty much any conditions. It is very good, in my opinion, for the price.
  14. Yes. And it is. It's not far out (usually under 4) but the on-board computer always gives me a higher number than the app I use on my phone which is accurate... or at least just as accurate as my man maths anyway.
  15. I have used about a quarter of mine but there's plenty left in the bottle still, it's separated (fine after it's shaken up though) but not eaten the bottle... yet.
  16. Revolution isn't too far from you for the alignment; http://www.revolution247.com/find-us
  17. +1 C15MEN does not scream Carmen to me. Although C MEN screams something else...
  18. 303 is available here (other retailers are available), but it doesn't last very long on exterior trim in all honesty (it's great for interior and engine bay though). IMO you'll be better off with Auto Finesse Revive instead.
  19. No. Otherwise speed cameras wouldn't be worth what they are. However, anything over 100mph is a court appearance, not any sort of fixed penalty that the guy alluded to. IF he does follow through with it, they've got 14 days to issue a Notice of Intended Prosecution, but my instinct says you'll be bloody lucky and get away with it and you'll hear no more about it.
  20. I know the feeling, I've killed my lower back a few times polishing the car - it always feels fine until I try to stand up straight. Great results though, well worth the time and effort (and pain).
  21. I know you're sorted now, but the discount hasn't been applied on that screenshot. There should be another line at the bottom under 'Shipping & Handling' labelled 'Discount (code)' and amount deducted. Just letting you know so you (and anyone else) can keep an eye out for that in future. When I ordered mine, it added a three month subscription option at the last stage of the checkout process. Luckily I noticed before I clicked the last button, took me a moment to work out why it'd gone from £12.50 to £60 though.
