  1. I paid £900 for a 70K 1999 Corsa 2 (?) years ago - spent no money on it apart from vague services and MOT and still going strong. If anything major goes wrong with it then off to the scrappy it goes!
  2. Call it £20 and we've got a deal! I guess depends on condition etc and how much competitors are? are these the same guys that used to be Mongoose? I'd guess scorpions would be close so see what they go for?
  3. yeah I think my two cats might object to being furminated! both short haired so not too much hair
  4. some of those are unbelieveable!
  5. Looks cool! Good to see something a bit different
  6. On the other bc coilovers I've had on other cars you could adjust stiffness on top of coilovers by turning a knob! The rubbing sounds like you're too low though. Having it look nice and low while remaining drivable is a balance!
  7. I got the Zed after years of owning tuned Jap turbo cars that were quicker and had more power to weight but enjoy the Zed more as it's more useable, looks a lot nicer (IMO) and feels a lot nicer and safer to drive! Might be slower on paper but I prefer much more. no point chasing huge power if you can't use it on the road safely.
  8. money sent for 2 tickets and track time but not sure if I got it or not? If not please let me know, Cheers! Michael
  9. Apologies for delay, in brasil at the moment but will get in proper computer and get money sent
  10. I've got the Costco arcan one (v heavy version though) and has gone under all my low cars fine. Lifts quick as well. If the cars really low drive up a couple of bits if wood first
  11. My 'special tool' was a screwdriver, long nose pliers and lots of cursing! Get some leverage under there and will soon become clear where it's held on. Takes a fair bit of force!
  12. DIY if you have the tools and a jack, isn't too hard and lots cheaper!
  13. The Garage is telling you porkies Alex. Indeed! straight swap from the OEM when I put Ferodo's on!
  14. Cool, yes mines the one behind the gates. Welcome to have a nose but not too far from standard for once! First car I've had where it feels good out of the box let me know when you're around. Michael
  15. Saw you parked on my road, looked nice with the full kit and rays
  16. yeah good point - scissor or bottle jack for emergencies but proper (trolley) jack for servicing then axle stands!
  17. Or just pop to your nearest car spares shop (Or Hellfrauds if you're desperate) and grab a jack from there!
  18. £880 is pretty good I'd say! i pay the same in London with 4 years NCB, license for 16 years and parked on a drive!
  19. one may have been me if in bournemouth or on the way there and back! saw a few other jap cars, A Supra, Scooby and black 200SX with pink wheels and wheelbarrow exhaust! all modified
  20. nope, i don't mind them either though seem to be a dirty orange on mine anyway? Mines GM as well so would probably hate them if my Zed was black?
  21. took me a few seconds to work out if it was serious or not!
  22. was definitely blue! looked nice in the sun as well I don't have a private plate, RL52 ****
  23. ...well just been out on a quiet industrial road and while I couldn't get to slam the brakes from 60 did it a lot from 40/50 in two cycles with 15 mins A road driving with no brakes inbetween. Hope I got enough heat into them! certainly smelt warm though no smoke quite fun as well on an empty road. Anything else to look out for now or good to go?
