  1. yup fits both 10mm and 12mm... according to Nengun http://www.nengun.com/nismo/titanium-shift-knob
  2. Holding strong with zero bids so far... clicky
  3. if you do replace them, keep the old ones for drifting... Sorry, i am only 24
  4. thats lovely! Dont think the massive wing fits in tho... black on black just has stealth written all over it, but that wing is pretty conspicuous.
  5. im 24 and earning less than you are, but im definitely set on a zed - a 100 mile commute each week sounds pretty reasonable to me, thats only 4800 miles a year all in, whuch is well below average. if you want a sports car and can afford the insurance, id say go for it! I think considering the fact its a 3.5 litre V6, its one of the best value to buy - your only other options for that kind of pace are either an old school Jap turbo car (Supra, Skyline, RX7 etc) but these will be expensive on a regular basis, or a porsche or Beemer - both of which will have ruinously expensive parts and servicing. Yes a clutch on a zed is a lot, but it would be lot more for an M3! Whats your car history? driven anything with 280bhp before? As you say, stepping up from a C2 will be a big change... ever driven RWD before? if you havent, get some training, completely different animal!
  6. mr2 import turbo... bought for peanuts, 220hp in a very light car! or again, an s2000, lots of cheaper early examples and you'd never tire of 9000rpm on a track (but conversly would very quickly tire of 9000rpm on the road!) personally i'd stay away from an mx5... just not enough go! lovely handling car, great to drive, but just doesnt quite go fast enough! maybe if you find one with a turbo on it would be ok. but back on topic, if you do track a 350Z be prepared for very high running costs - 18" tyres are not cheap and you will wear through sets regularly, similar story for brakes.
  7. From the other way round it doesnt look no where near as bad... its either go for the gap, or slam on the anchors and loose a lot of time to the lambo... ballsy move, but its racing, 'if you no longer go for a gap...'
  8. that e46 M3 is gorgeous! nearly considered one, but still looking for a zed because a) its jap, and its not a mundane family saloon with a big engine in.
  9. Peugeot 406 advert. Not only the best car advert ever, but in my opinion, the best advert ever full stop.
  10. Ibanez guitars - as used by dragonforce for this little ditty:
  11. oh yeah, i see it! good game that, find the z! thats one for the 'top gear xmas presents' list i think!
  12. not the greatest official merchandise i've ever seen, it says neither 350 nor z anywhere on it!
  13. if they make it, that would be awesome! hopefully encourage Honda to pull their finger out and make a new NSX. Bring on the resurrection of the proper nineties japanese sportscar!
  14. Found the answer to my own question... 1998cc, making 200bhp! So thats an impressive 100bhp per litre - and even more impressive is that its at 7000rpm, not the usual 8000+ that vtecs use to make high power. No wonder it sounded like a vtec, making that kind of power!
  15. thats clearly not real... the driver of the girls car is clearly looking straight ahead at all times, its just the girl in the pink who isnt. i thought the guys car was going to crash, as they all appeared to be watching the girls and not the road!
  16. More videos, this time of the Toyota... Engine note reminds me of a VTEC - anyone know what kind of specific output the engine has? also, how big are the arch gaps at 2:28? i dont think it will be long before suspension companies offer aftermarket dampers, you could pitch a tent under there! And it shows on the track as well, has a lot of lean through the corners.
  17. now this is more like it! Subaru doing it properly! Subaru BRZ Super GT Racer
  18. just saw this! brilliant advert, and if you havent seen it already, i can recommend 'Black Dynamite'...
  19. that is insane. They have just destroyed everything! enjoyed the car driving over that poor chap, better than chiropratice at any rate.
  20. and why not these for the rear? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PIRELLI-245-45-ZR-18-100Y-XL-P-ZERO-TYRES-/180763864634?pt=UK_Cars_Tyres_RL&fits=Tyre+Width%3A245|Aspect+Ratio%3A45|Diameter%3A18&hash=item2a165dae3a
  21. Not a looker? I think it looks ruddy brilliant! a very handsome, very well proportioned car. speedhunters drives the FT86 round Fuji
