Yes a massive amount of work gone into that, so fair play. TBH I quite like the interior too. Not my cup of Darjeeling though I'm afraid
  4. It would make sense, but they are quite heavy in to the GT racing at the minute, but who knows how their budgets work
  5. Forgot to add this http://www.youtube.com/embed/aq9ioyLZVXE http://www.youtube.com/embed/aq9ioyLZVXE This is quite interesting too http://www.youtube.com/embed/fnwsCiEKy-0
  6. Bit more info from NMGB on this project. The last line is a massive let down - Sorry.... Full details of mad Juke-R revealed Posted on 05 October 2011 by Editor NOW Nissan dealers can confirm to their customers that the Japanese manufacturer will be making a ‘Super Juke’. Last week we revealed that Nissan was working on a performance Juke but now it has released the full details! Called the Juke-R it’s Nissan’s first ever super crossover and combines the look of the much-loved Juke with the power of the GT-R supercar. It’s been developed in conjunction with RML – the motorsport outfit renowned for Nissan’s Le Mans exploits in the the early 1990s and who were responsible for the Nissan Primera lifting the British Touring Car Championship in 1999. Boasting flared wheel arches, new front and rear bumpers plus a unique rear spoiler, the Juke-R is like no ‘normal’ Juke currently in Nissan showrooms. Underneath lies the GT-R’s potent 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6, six-speed transaxle, and a modified four-wheel-drive driveline. 20-inch RAYS alloys complete the mad look. Inside the Juke’s motorcycle-inspired fuel tank remains but two racing bucket seats, a roll-cage, and an LED display with auxiliary gauges have been added to give a track-like driving experience. ‘Nissan Juke is one of the most exciting cars on the market today. Its bold crossover design has captured the imagination of car buyers all over Europe; after just a year on sale we are celebrating sales of more than 100,000 units,’ said Paul Willcox, senior vice president, sales and marketing for Nissan in Europe. ‘Juke lends itself perfectly to a sports derivative and Juke-R explores that territory. Equally at home on road and track, Juke-R showcases two of the most exciting cars in our range and highlights the technical innovation that drives Nissan. This car will more than live up to the dynamic driving experience we engineer into all our cars’. But it’s strictly a one off, says Nissan. Two will be made – one left hand drive and the other in right hand drive.
  7. +1 I think you're meant to own the cars in here - unless Toby has bought one on the sly To be honest, I didn’t think I would go on to the posts list. I saw that one of the guys recent was asking for pictures of a silver car, I click the link supplied and it to me to a list of car colours which I genuinely though was for reference only! Hence no words...
  8. I used to work at the afore mentioned MB garage, so I know the are pretty well!!
  9. Go off at jnt1 (m621) after the football ground, right at the roundabout, right passed the Porsche garage, on to Geldard Road. Over the mini round about, passed the Mercedes dealership on the right. Go to the end of that road (apron 1 mile) and it's next to the Toyota and Lexus dealership!
  10. Sadly I am not suggesting the price will get better, just more consistent.. Bummer eh? As for the facelift no idea, and to be honest the dealers are usually the last to know (One of the reasons I like it on here), a very well informed lot!
  11. Swweeeeet! I wonder if I can get on on our Demo program...?
  12. thought I would make a quick anouncment and another reminder Peter Donnell was recently introduced to the forum by Lexx and myself. He was also kind enough to bring up a new G37 coupe to the recent meet at Middlesbrough Nissan. Peter has been without a dealership for some months now, and he has had a bit of a gypsy existence! Now, at last, the Leeds Infinity Centre is open. I believe that there is an official opening on the 20th, so if anybody wants an invite let me know. Anyway, quite an impressive establishment.. Good luck Peter!
  13. It has been a difficult year for the Zed’s, and I have posted something similar to this on other threads. I think the problems started some time ago now with the petrol prices and road tax escalations. However the more immediate issue surround residual values began with the Japanese tsunami earlier this year. Everything went onto high alert as there was real concern that the manufactures would have to halt production of all cars until the problems surrounding the county where resolved including parts to the rest of the world, and the manufacturing of cars in Japan. However Nissan did a great job avoiding this, unlike most other car manufactures. There where no austerity measures and things generally where unaffected. The one model of concern was the 370, as it was made in Japan. As such the launch of the 2011 MY car was delayed, as they thought a specialist car like the 370 might last a bit longer. Within a couple of months it was apparent this was not the case, and the 2011 car was ready to go. The problem was there was a lot of 2010 cars hanging around, kept back just in case, as it where. To move the 2010 cars along, NMGB offered the dealer group’s packs of these cars with an additional £4800 support as well as the guaranteed 7% margin. The answer was to distress sell these cars quickly to get the 2011 car out ASAP. All of a sudden you have some very cheap cars on the market, new, but at used car prices. This has a knock on effect and drives the prices of the older 370Z down and then the 350’s look too dear so they go down too. We are now in a situation where most of the cheap 370’s have gone, but there are a few hanging around. This where it gets interesting… So as a dealer, you have a customer who comes in to buy a car off you but is saying that you are now too expensive, as the guy down the road has one of these cheap cars on the lot, what do you do? Pay more for the part exchange and get the deal done, but these cars will now be more expensive, but now on the forecourt with presumably a smaller profit margin. This would be a massive problem if we where talking about a Corsa for example, but the Zed’s are a specialist car, and quite rare, so you could get away with a bit more nationally. IMHO when all the 2010 cars have been sold there will be more stability in the marques, and therefore more consistency in the values. Nothing is ever that straightforward is it??!!
  14. Railgun I thought you where talking about something else there It sounded like a Swiss Tony moment!
  15. From a dealer point of view its very embarrassing, baring in mind its not just the 370z's its everything with connect! Imagine how many Qashqai's, XTrail's, Pathfinders & Navara's we are talking about too
  16. Best wishes, every success and happiness for the journey ahead! Good luck Jim
  17. Another revision on the above!! Gets better and better http://www.cardok.co.uk/single.php
  18. Hello & The boot will be smaller than the SL, and cheaper to run!!

  20. Hi I can answer some of your questions but some may be better answered by others! Q1 - Yes a bit, but in truth not enough to make you sick, I would highly recommend a test drive in the car and gauge it for yourself, it wouldn’t put me off. Q2 - Same as above the road noise has raised a few eyebrows on here, but all things considered I don’t think it’s that bad compared to a similar car like a Boxster. Plus alot can depend on the tyres you use. Q3 - Yes you can run it on normal unleaded, but again there is some debate over the overall economics of this (i.e. you get a better consumption using the Super ULP) Q4 - Depends on your dealer, but as a rough starter, I wouldn’t bay any mother than £220 for a P1 and no more than £350 for a P3 service, We offer a discount to members so the last P3 we did, was billed out at £274! Q5 -Dunno Q6 - No, I don’t think so but again it depends what you are used to - again I would suggest a test drive Q7 - There are tyre specialists on here, that would be a better gauge Q8 - Again personal preference and I wouldn’t be the man for this! But the warranty would only be invalidated by anything connect to the exhaust!
  21. Go back to bed and dont move until tomorrow!
  22. Christ, and we have a bad name!! lol, well ive lost count of the amount of time dealers have ripped people i know off, so it was nice to kinda get my own back a little. If it makes you feel better, it turned out the car he sold us had been in an accident, it also needed a full service (he said it had been done but oil was black & air filters were also black), needed new top mounts, new antiroll bar links, new brake pads & discs and a few other bits. So he clearly wasnt the most honest of dealers. Don’t get me wrong, I fully understand, it was the mercenary wording that made me laugh!!
