  1. On the orginal question. My understanding is: If you go on to the Safari home page, click on the Lion image, it runs through the accessablity, which reading it looks to be the memory sizes etc, it lists the compatible machines then you just go into the "Apple" on your tool bar "about this Mac" and if its compatible it can be down loaded from the App store in July. PS Macs ARE the way forward, if only I had one at work, I could finish early!

    370Z Service

Hi and Welcome To be honest with a bit of home work you might want to try a Nissan Dealer as they are as desperate fro the service business as anyone and most price accordingly now. Ring around for some quotes and see if they will match or get somewhere near. At least you are getting the equipment and training on the newer stuff. Good luck
  3. Or this comedy option, what the hell was this guy thinking... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1979-DATSUN-LAURE ... 19c5cd0f2f
  4. Right, here's one theses are a belting car (I had one!) Hope this link works OK http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Bmw-2002-Classic- ... 33682cfca0
  5. What about a mk1 golf gti the parts are cheap and easy to get as all the VAG car bits were inter changable and very easy to work on and adapt if you wish. More importantly they have a strong following in case you need to bail out of it!
  6. Sorry best of intentions The first minute or so is a bit boring and corporate Try this version from you tube Jeees, this is hard work.

  9. I have a 06 plate Speed Triple 1050 in white, which I love (2 exhausts for me by the way!). As mentioned in another thread to day, I had a pigeon incident last nightm, which led to that flying rat, distroying the break fluid collector so no fun for me this weekend...
  10. So far been to work, ducked out to go to a Chrsiting, now back at work. Was going out on the bike, but hit a pigeon at a fair rate of knots last night, brake master cylinder broke, no bike fun for me this weekend.
  11. Hi When checking out the car, the only things to really watch is brake and tyre wear as they are expensive to replace. Other than that make sure the clutch works properly (ie it returns OK and doesnt need any pumping up!) other than that the usuall checks - the inspection you reassure you. Best of luck
  12. IT was a top ten finish for all Nissan GT-Rs in last weekend’s fourth round of the FIA GT1 World Championship held at the Sachsenring in Germany. The pairing of Enrique Bernoldi and Warren Hughes, in the no.20 Sumo Power GT-R, finished as top Nissan in fourth, a place ahead of team-mates David Brabham and Jamie Campbell-Walter in the no.21 car. Peter Dumbreck and Richard Westbrook, in the no.22 car, were the top ranking JR Motorsports in seventh place, whilst Lucas Luhr and Michael Krumm finished ninth in the no.23. However, the before the race began, the GT-Rs qualified higher than their final finishing result. With cars jostling on the start/finish straight as the race began, the GT-Rs fell back to their eventual finishing places. Speaking afterwards, Warren Hughes, said: ‘I’m very happy. Over the course of the weekend, considering how GT-R unfriendly Sachsenring is, we probably got the absolute best result we could have done, short of the top three cars in front of us failing. ‘It’s probably fair to say that the car wasn’t as strong today as yesterday (qualifying), as the track conditions were a bit different – slightly cooler. The sweet spot of a car is so small that tiny factors like that can make a difference, and as such we lost a little bit of performance. Overall though, I’m delighted with my personal performance as well as that of the team, and once again it feels great to be the top ranked Nissan car, because everyone knows the calibre of our drivers.’ Round five of the GT1 World Championship, at Silverstone, will take place on the weekend of the June 4-5, 2011.
  13. Thats what I was driving at, the car and the price of it doesnt matter on a PCP to an extent its the cost per month that is the concideration. If the car is not worth anything at the end of the three year send it back to the finance company! Best practise for a PCP deal is to put a relativly small deposit down and an affordable payment per month. So if the car goes back all you have lost is the deposit, the monthly rental is just the cost of ownership. Hope this makes sense..
  14. R8 Great value for money compared to its rivals in the V8. Drives great, much nicer inside than the Lambo, turns more heads than a 911. Personally I couldn't get away with the R Tronic, the manual takes a bit of getting used to, but much nicer with practise (like an old Ferrari) super cool car.
  15. In principal yes, they tend to be subsidied by the manufacture generally, as they have a vested interest in getting your return business in three years, but this is not true for all. These days most of the best offers are posted on the websites to be fair, but dont be put off by more expensive cars, as their residual values can be better, therefore the bit in the middle (which you essentailly pay for) could be similar to a regualr car.
  16. To be honest I think if you are taking a PCP route to your new car, the monthly budget & deposit would be a fairer test, as the list price only gives half the story depending on rate of depreciation. This may also open up a few more options for you too. To pick up on your Alfa thought, if space isnt a massive issue you may want to concider the Mito Cloverleaf, my wife has one and loves it, but it only does 32 to the gallon...
  17. Categorized | News Representatives for the UK chosen for GT Academy BRITAIN’S best console racers have competed head to head to win a chance to become a real life Nissan racing driver. After completing a series of races and challeneges on the Playstation game Gran Turismo 5, the two places to represent the UK at the international final went to 19-year-old Jann Mardenborough from Cardiff and 29-year-old James Hudson from Bromley. The ultimate prize is a seat in a Nissan 370Z at the Dubai 24 hour international endurance race. Mardenborough said: ‘This is amazing. All those hours up in my bedroom with my mum shouting to come down for dinner and me shouting ‘just another five minutes’ seem worth it now.’ Now in its third year, the national format was changed to include additional tasks to ascertain the competitiors’ suitability as a real racing driver. The 22 finalists were subjected to physical tests, a media interview and real life driving in a Nissan 370Z. Competitors gained points for each contest, determining which two UK representatives will progress to the GT Academy International ‘Race Camp’. Mardenborough and Hudson will now join the other 28 International finalists at the ultimate five day ‘Race Camp’ in June. GT Academy, a partnership between Nissan and Sony Computer Entertainment, provides a platform to see if it is possible to successfully take a car racing gamer from the virtual world into the real world of racing cars at a high level. The first winner in 2008, Lucas Ordoñez, is continually proving how successful this competition can be with not only success in the FIA GT4 championship but has now secured a seat at the 2011 Le Mans 24 hour race in the Signatech Nissan LMP2 team. Andy Connell, category manager sports and 4×4 for Nissan Motor (GB) Limited, said: ‘We now move to the GT Academy 2011 international final stage and a baptism of fire awaits our two UK winners. ;It’s going to be fascinating to see who can most effectively adapt their on-screen skills to the real track. If the international finalists are looking for inspiration, they should recognise what previous winners Lucas and Jordan have achieved in such a short space of time.’ For dealers who want to follow the progress of GT Academy 2011, news will be shared on a variety of platforms including: http://eu.gran-turismo.com |www.twitter.com/GTAcademy This is the wrong thread isnt it... what a tool.
  18. Hi please see comment from NMGB: As communicated to you in Alert 105, we are all well aware of the earthquake and tsunami that have severely damaged Japan, Nissan’s home country. We cannot begin to comprehend the devastation and difficulties people are facing in affected areas of this country. I don’t think any of us yet understand the true levels of destruction and loss of life. We all know that over half a million people are now homeless, hungry with a great many having lost friends and family. The relief effort required to support is immense. Therefore Nissan has chosen one partner - The Red Cross – to focus its company donations. As well as donating directly to the Red Cross, Nissan is also matching donations made by dealers, employees, customers and their family and friends. To make donating as quick, easy and efficient as possible, NMGB has set up a dedicated email address for dealers who wish to support the fund raising efforts. Please email japan.appeal@nissan.co.uk with your pledge amount and this will be deducted from your quarter four bonus earnings. NMGB will then match all the pledges made and the money will go straight to the British Red Cross. There is no obligation for you to make a pledge and any donation is purely voluntary. In addition, personal donations from customers and employees can be pledged at http://www.redcross.org.uk/japannissan and again, donations will be matched by Nissan.
