  1. My mate went to an Orb concert once back in the day. The experience was a bit odd, everyone was laid down in a field listening and watching the lighting in the sky whislt on the old Maroccan Malbro's..... Nuf said
  2. Also an excellent video between angels and insects with the roaches coming out of his mouth an that! Picking up the point of lost direction, I felt the same way about linkin park after hybrid theory I wonder if you are feeling a bit of sound garden too...?

  8. This is a great thread, I love music, and have been known to play a few instruments myself and I could prattle on all day on this subject… However, born in 1973 the year of (Dark side of the Moon, I believe) I was subjected to years of Pink Floyd, The Eagles, ZZ Top, ELO, Beatles, Gerry Rafferty, etc. which left a lasting mark. As I progressed in to a little person in the 80s, I picked up a liking for Depeche Mode, and a bit of old school rap, The Smiths, Lloyd Cole, The Stranglers, Madness, Tom Petty (A decade with some great one hit wonders too numerous to mention) Later in the 80’s The Pixies, Stone Roses Happy Monday’s, Inspiral Carpets, The The. INXS In to the 90’s Nirvana, Blur, Sleeper, Echo Belly, the Orb, Air, The Manic Street Preachers, The Sundays, Mansun and my personal favourite The Smashing Pumpkins More recently, The New Young Pony Club, Kasabian, The Kooks, The Strokes, Blink 182, Goldfrapp, Arcade Fire, Artic Monkeys. I have a very eclectic music collection Last Gig: Morrissey (Last Night) Last Album bought: Going Underground (Various Artist)
  9. Saw Morrissey at Middlesbrough Town Hall last night - Brilliant!
  10. Toby, upload the images to a Photobucket account, then copy the link to your post. You can add all the pics to the post that way, and we don't all need to click each individual one I think that might be on the meeting agenda!! as I dont know anything about a Photobucket account -
  11. That sounds awesome, like it has no baffles & runs on Satan's urine!
  12. mmmm, resized the pics too small I think, sorry....
  13. Missed the most important one!!
  14. NISSAN certainly put on a big show at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed with an impressive display stand, special demonstrations and the taking home of a new record. A wind tunnel-themed display formed Nissan’s stand for the Festival, which included a special display of the ESFLOW concept car, an electric sports car for the future. The LEAF was also on show at the stand giving some show-goers their first glimpse of the ground-breaking electric hatchback. The LEAF was also joined by the award-winning British-built Qashqai, the 370Z GT Edition, the new GT-R and a Juke with a special sound-system. On the hill-climb, the new GT-R and 370Z GT Edition took part in the renowned supercar run – an event which has become the place to see the newest supercar machinery. Meanwhile, celebrating the second win in succession of the RAC tourist trophy at Silverstone in the FIA GT1 championship this year, the 600bhp Sumo Power GT team’s GT1 GT-R took to the hill – often in a cloud of tyre smoke. However, the extra special demonstrations runs were reserved for the LEAF RC and a Juke doing a very unusual stunt. While the LEAF RC took to the hill in near-silence, the Juke, driven by stunt-driver Terry Grant, went up the legendary West Sussex hill-climb on two wheels. With encouragement from the crowds, Grant took the record for the fastest four-wheeled car to go up the hill on two wheels.
  15. Cool, I'd love to know how they do that
  16. PM me an email address I have the servicing sheet for the 350/370Z's but its on a large PDF - if you want it
  17. That was interesting, dont fancy the trip to the land of sh*tty feet, but the study and the future medical aplications sound promising - good hit
  18. Yesterday, whilst trawling through the various iPhone app things I have down loaded, I came across this vehicle. I must say as a lifelong petrol head I thought I had a fairly good knowledge of the automotive world, past and present, but I had never heard or seen one of these before. Apparently they are extremely rare and as such command a price tag of $4m for a nice one. It must have been awesome in its day! http://www.futurliner.com/other.htm
  19. A quick test would be to get someone to fire off the washers, and you see if you can here the washer motor working. If none of the fuses are blowen, it's a new washer motor.
