  3. Thats ok, I know people will have divided opinion on looks Col This one is probably more suitable, in Leeds http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p The wheels kill that car, the first one look a nicer car IMO They are hard work, these things, what to have on it and what not, model year changes etc, alot of research... Have to say, if you are going down a petrol 4x4 route, this is the one.
  4. Couldn't see where the technical support number was Mac all the way for me

    P4 service

I didn't bother because we can only supply Genuine Nissan parts, but if there is anything you need let me know. As my Genuine parts, are the stuff of legend Joking aside if you are local, it would be worth checking out my sub section as there are something which I think may be of benefit to you (start at the bottom and work up) T

    P4 service

I dont know about a P4 service, but there is a Nissan Service sheet here which may help you a bit http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=169&t=51586
  7. and congrats on the new car
  8. I was always very average at maths, but I am very competent at stuff I use every day because I use it every day. I still haven’t figured out how to slip a Venn Diagram in to the mix yet though....
  9. Aggreed the sensible option, under the circumstances
  10. But that wouldn't remove the finance charge from the car.......he needs to do what he has already proposed, pay the balance of the finance direct to the finance company and the rest to the seller. That kind of what I ment, if they establish the amount, and he would pay the differane to the fin co. rather than the customer
  11. No problem, I know you are having a bit of a nightmare with this! The only other alternative is to establish the settlement figure (exactly and independently!), and only pay the difference. i.e. if the car is £6000 and they owe £3000 on it, just pay them £3000 cash for the car! then the burden is on them!
  12. It needs further investigation to be fair The current owners may have sent off the settlement cheque but the letter of satisfaction may not have been sent back or the finance company may not have written to Experian to remove it from the HPI register. Therefore what you need is a letter of satisfaction from the finance company (not the customer). The current owners should be cool with this if not there may be a rabbit off!
  13. Sorry, I loaned it to the General Manager
  14. Basically the Warranty only covers genuine parts (it the same for servicing) So if a part goes and they can argue that the exhaust was the rout cause of the problem you are in trouble. However if it’s a problem with the CD Player which has obviously no bearing on your exhaust you are OK I have no idea on the insurance I'm afraid
  15. They have a lot of small cars and MY2010 Zeds to shift, so I would not be surprised if they did. It might have been easier in hindsight to email them back, with a thanks, but no thanks.... They might even try suckering you in, with a trail of pie crumbs leading to the dealership
  16. Great price, but expensive to run, slightly dated interior for me, but awesome performance and sound track!!
  17. I going up on thursday to finalise the finance - presumably if you end early (and pay it off) = less interest charges ? Yes and no. The theory is that you are not charged for the interest you don't use. However this not quite right. The finance companys use a thing called the rule of 42. I once asked to see the calculation for this and it was about three A4 pages long! The long and the short if it is, as already mentioned, you will get a rebait of interest for early term. But it's not easy to calculate how much. With car car financing it is quite un common to be charged more than the outstanding amount as a penalty as such
  18. Everyone we have taken in part ex, petrol and diesel, hasnt worn very well IMO Loads of smaller issues, and wear issues too like, stuffy steering wheels and shifters, which is unusual for German cars. I jut don't think they take a family battering very well compared to other vehicles like this, but if its had an easy life...... I would not be for me, but the ad does look good if that what you want PS Dont forget this is a big lumpy Petrol car - Not the easiest thing to move on at any price, if it doesn't work out for you
  19. Salesman!? I am far more important than that
  20. Hello The T&Cs of your agreement are exactly the same as an HP agreement. So, If you decide 24c months in to your 36 month agreement that you want to change your 370Z to an X-Trail or a Kia, or what ever, you can do so. You would go about it exactly as if it was an HP agreement, i.e. call up for a settlement figure and off set against the value of the current vehicle (the Zed) Next time please purchase from a person who knows what they are doing (ish!) Any other question please just call me or PM
  21. 22. I think you are shaky ground with that, to be honest, The burden of proof is on you, i.e. they would argue driver error. Unless they have done something on the last service to the handbrake and it documented in the service sheet. No harm i trying though
  23. the weather is shocking here, Starving and needing some drink I was confronted with this 1 mile from home!
