  1. PM on Driftworks if you want them, save him some eBay fees, he had them up for £375 collected.
  2. They were/are on Driftworks. I was tempted to grab them as a set of spares in case anything happens to mine.
  3. Looks really good, will definitely try this one weekend!
  4. Sheets, you need 30x100cm for each rear light. Only £15 for them and you get a scalpel to help the cutting!
  5. Ah I do that anyway to make them a bit more flexible when putting them on the lights. I replaced mine as they were getting rough round the edges as I didn't fold them round the back enough and kept catching them when washing the car.
  6. How do you 'set' them? I've just put a fresh set on my rear LEDs and I never did anything special to the first set and they've lasted fine. Makes a GM car look so much better
  7. I went from a 1.25 Zetec to a zed. Simply awesome.
  8. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISMO-built-N ... 775wt_1190 The noise at around 35s does it for me and that's before it gets going
  9. Yeah the Nismo one if possible. Mines only a little tatty but I've finished on the exterior of the car and moving onto getting the interior pristine!
  10. If you de-badge it grab some Goo Gone. Makes it much easier and there won't be any residue where the badge was. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Goo-Gone--Stick ... 660&sr=1-2 What kind of a **** tries to steal a letter Z, some people in this world really **** me off.
  11. Des anyone have a side by side photo with original gear knob? Thinking of either making mine look nice again or buying a KTA one, can't decide if I'll like the feel of them or not.

    Show me your a$$

Thinking of swapping the rear badge for Likwidart one, not sure though!
  13. I'd say no chance but there must be someone that has tried before. I managed to get the skirts in the car just about as length wise they go from the passenger footwell to the roof. I had to get a taxi to transport my front bumper, but it was only 9 miles each way. Renting a van will be your best bet, only about £40-50 for the day and diesel will be cheaper than 600 miles in the zed
  14. Sky Fibre's been perfect for me so far. 37mb down, no traffic shaping, throttling or limits. I've tried to find a limit and not had anything come through Not sure if you have to have Sky or not though. Virgin is great for max speed but I think they do throttle/shape at peak times.
  15. Same ones I have on my car You need wedge fit bulbs. I bought bulbs where the actual bulb part wouldn't go into the cluster. Then I bought the wrong bulb fitment. Third time lucky I got the right ones You can change the bulbs with the bumper on if you have skinny hands. I've done mine twice and not had any issues but I have the arms of a 6 year old.

    Decats vs HFC's

HFCs for me. Passed MOT first time and don't have to get them swapped in/out every year just to pass the MOT.
  17. I've had the DTE say 15 miles and I could only put 64 litres in. So the DTE obviously underestimates itself!
  18. Good point - that happens to me with almost everything I buy from gadgets, clothes, meals to cars. I start off with..."must be sensible and set budget at £X" and end up spending at least half as much again Same here. I always end up spending over what I had planned. Was thinking about test drives last night, and I remember back in 2000 riding by a BMW garage on my ZXR750 and spotting an M3 Evolution up on the forecourt for nearly £30k. I popped in and asked there & then for a test drive and they had no problems at all in letting me straight out in the car (with the sales person sitting next to me of course). A week or so later I saw a nearly new Lotus Elise at a Mazda garage and so I phoned up and arranged a test drive. I turned up again on a motorbike (albeit a brand new Ducati 748SPS which was around £12k), the sales bloke gave me the keys to the Elise and off I went. On my own. I took it back about 20mins later, gave him the keys back and left. He gave me no high pressure sales talk at all. In fact I dont think they even asked to see my driving license! When I test drove a 350z at West Way Stockport they didn't ask for any sort of ID or drivers licence, and I'd turned up in a '97 Fiesta

    Tein Lowering Springs

I didn't have them on at the same time but I've already scrapped my V2 with Tein's on. On Eibachs I scrapped the OEM bumper a few times and one of the skirts going over one of those stupid square speed bumps. I think the V2 is the same height off the ground as OEM, it just sticks out further from the car so it's more likely to catch the ground. Personally I bought the Tein's when I knew I was going for the V2 as I didn't want to risk taking the nose off within a week. I've not even gone over a speed bump yet!

    Tein Lowering Springs

With OEM bumper/skirts on Eibach's I only had a few issues over the square speed bumps. I wouldn't dare run Eibach's with a lower bumper/sides. It does look nice though

    Tein Lowering Springs

Yeah I'm glad I changed, I do miss the lowered look of the Eibachs but running the skirts I've got on now they'd be half gone in a week! You won't get the rubber mounts with the Tein springs, I had to buy a pair from Alex for ~£47 as the ones on the Eibach springs were stuck in them.

I went with Camskill in the end, looked around for a while but nothing came up. I've still managed to scape my new V2 front end coming from Eibach springs
  23. Like these? viewtopic.php?f=32&t=64228
  24. I went through 3 orders with Autobulbsdirect to figure out the correct ones My 2004 takes wedge type bulbs on the rear, I originally bought too wide a bulb, then the wrong fitment and finally correct ones. If you get LEDs for indicators you will probably need an LED resistor. I've taken the LED rear indicators out as they were making the indicator flash on and off way too fast. Think the correct bulbs for rear indicator, fog and reverse are 7440 and 7443 wedge fit, for 2004 anyway!
