245/35 @ 8.5J ET25 275/35 @ 9.5J ET30 The rears are pretty much shot so I might buy a new pair of 275's or 285's.

I was tempted to get the keep the lip as standard on the wheels and the rest black but there's nothing glossy on the car so wouldn't really fit in with the overall look. Will rolled arches what's a good sized spacer for LMGT4s? Will 20F/25R cause any issues being lowered on Teins?

I loved the E65 wheels but I was never keen on the stretched tyres and being Plastidipped they were never going to look as good as painted. They shall be missed but when I get the car back this week everything should look awesome

Think I got mine via DetailingWorld, different figment for different pressure washers. Doesn't help you if you want it tomorrow though. Don't know of anywhere that sells them off the shelf.

I've just got my hands on a set of satin black wheels and looking to add a layer of wax/sealant over them to help cleaning them in the future, but is there anything specific I should be using? I've got some Poorboys Wheel Sealant so hoping that will be alright. I've been speaking to a body shop and they've said you can't wax matte/satin paint as it will bring out a gloss in it, is there a specialist wax I can buy for satin/matte paint that sin't going to cost a forture? Thanks

I do like these, was tempted to try and get a set myself. Are you keeping them the standard colour or thinking of a change?

My current wheels are 19" 10J ET24 with 20mm spacers to make it ET4. They protrude a little from the arches but I've not had any issues with them rubbing. That's running 235/35.

Nearly done that myself, started to reverse down the drive before realising I hadn't done a couple of nuts up. Not all 5 though

If it's with an aggressive kit then big spoilers look good, but in this instance it's just waaay too big!

Looking for a pair of tyres, used or new. Ideally Falken 452's to match up with the fronts. Must have at least 4-5mm on them. Might drop down to 265 if someone has a pair. Thanks

The noise at idle is nuts, wonder what it sounds like in real life though as the mic might make it sound louder and more tinnier than IRL. Still an awesome machine though!

Have you got HFC's installed? I got this last winter when starting the car in the cold. A pair or O2 Simulators from ZMANALEX should sort the problem out if you do.

If you're going for 18"s then I think 40's should be fine. If you were going 19"s then 35 is standard due to increase in wheel diamater you have a lower profile to stop any rubbing. The profile is the % compared to tyre width. So 265/40 means the tyre sidewall height will be 265*0.4. Don't put different profiles on front to rear unless you're going for different wheel sizes front to rear, ie 18" front and 19" rear.

Without going for the stretched look this table gives you an idea of what tyre width you should be running, but it doesn't say what would/wouldn't cause rubbing. The offset and wheel width will affect whether you need your arches rolling to stop the tyres rubbing. http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp is a good site to put in your current wheels and see the difference with new wheels. This will give you an idea of how far in/out the new wheels will be compared to your current ones.

me hate the world my own fault but it just shows you that you can pass your test and not know everything/anything about the highway code, you'd think Mr Policeman would give a polite warning not a dry bumming for first time minor offence. I guess it all depends on the pattern of the white line, if it was a zigzag one at pelican and zebra crossings then he did right. Technically yes he did right by the letter of the law, but for a polite young lad who's never been in trouble with the police driving a 5 door Fiesta, a stern telling off would've done the trick, not raping me of insurance for 5 years.

Mines easily twice that due to Manchester post code I've also got 3 points from PC30, I can take them off this year but next year is 5 years since it happened and the insurers can stop rinsing me for it them. I did quotes this year with and without PC30, was near £300 difference all for stopping on a white line to let my missus pop something in the post box
