  1. Dave your starting to sound like some of the others on here that never have anything nice to say lol. You know you will be barred from mummycare if you keep it up!
  2. Price they charge you would think it was Veyrons!!
  3. At least being 2nd hand you won't have to pay import tax and or VAT. So you could be quids in:)
  4. Could be worth it? We don't have to be there at the crack of dawn when it opens, otherwise we will be leaving the night b4? I do not know the area so maybe a mutual place. time and address would be cool:)
  5. 4 Visits to Abbey now in the last 2 weeks and always a smile and instant help. Thanks again:)
  6. All transferable Stew. Kev T has the same kit and a nice thought but the coffers are empty:( And an ideal solution to the problem. I was going down the route of selling the 350 for a 370 when I sold my narrowboat. But I got impatient and the rest is history. If things get to bad I might have to look about for someone who would consider doing a swop. But lets be realistic, who would want to swop there 370 auto for a 2009 350 with 15000 on the clock. Even if it has had £36k invested in it and is 444 bhp at the wheels. (soon to be more lol) Now who wants there leather done? lol.
  7. Could have done with that today as I was cold! I want one and a good boy sticker on my car Chris!
  8. Go for it as it could do with some constructive feedback:)
  9. Surely if you have what you perceive as a bad experience with a dealership over test driving a car, then yes on that count I would deem it reasonable to go elsewhere to buy a 370. However. you now say you are now not going to buy a 370 period! If you were serious about buying one you would swallow and go elsewhere. The bit I dont understand about your post is the relevance to owning a car that in your words "I have a car that would paste a 370Z in most departments apart from age and upkeep, surely as an owner of two 300ZX and an R33 GT-R with a brand loyalty, I have acted reasonably here"? Why would you feel the need to bring this up on a 350/370 forum! as the message that is coming across to us is that you feel you are superior by having a car thats 500bhp and will paste a 370z. Think Kev T and a few others might comment on that! Hopefully like most Nissan dealerships. Westway are reading this and may comment themselves! Maybe you both rubbed each other up the wrong way! However if you are serious about buying from a dealership that will treat you with respect and you don't mind a trip to West London I can give you a contact.
  10. Now these are the sort of reply's we are looking for! Thanks for that, I found it very informative:)
  11. It's not the ankle thats the problem. The fracture is right over the bit you use to depress the clutch. If I have any hope of keeping up with swifty (Ebized) I need a softer clutch pedal!
  12. Just goes to show how little i know! I thought a lightweight clutch means the peddle is softer! Duurrr
  13. Well the shock of the Sun being out caught me by surprise!!
  14. Mate, if i'd been on the M25 for 3.5 hours I would have pulled off too Thats what I get for agreeing to give someone a lift to LHR on a friday pm. The Surrey section is murder as everyone is avoiding London because of the olympics. 10 years ago a tanker overturned at Reigate Hill spilling its crap all over the road and melting it. I was one of the unlucky ones trapped from 08:30 till 5.15. Not a happy bunny.
  15. Maybe the post may throw up some options. If I have to change the clutch it will not happen until next year and I really want to come on some more runs. I am dreading driving to Grimsby next week but needs must!
  16. It can be annoying when on a lovely sunny day! I have to take the Skoda as the clutch is so much lighter. When I test drove my 1st Zed it was not hurting and it was from Hanwell along the A40 (M) to M25 and back. Last friday week I sat on M25 in a jam for 3,5 hours and had to pull off. Yes if I had not spent out on the GTM I would sell it and get an auto 370, but sadely thats no longer an option. Zeditis has stolen all my pocket money:(
  17. Ok I am going to stand in the "Silly corner" now:(
  18. Personally, I wouldn't touch anything Japspeed. Does that include the tray that goes under the engine Ian?
  19. Ok this is a long shot and not sure if it's in the right place or not. I have a history of repeatedly fracturing my left Metatarsal and a few weeks ago was confirmed with Osteoporosis caused through long term Steroid use. My left foot is full of infamation and when in traffic the constant depression of the clutch pedal really makes for an unpleasant experience. Is there any way I can lighten the clutch without breaking the bank please? No silly comments like get an automatic either!! Cheers:)
  20. You guys carry on with the handbags all advice is taken on board aswell Ha ha nice one Arran. Unfortunately it does get very hand bags at 10 paces on here. Most of the members are very good and offer sound advice. Just the same one or too who seem to get off on causing controversy and you can see the result. Hopefully the mods will cut it all out and we can get back to what is at hand. Your pulleys. But you have already come to the right conclusion on that one! Anyway no doubt we will see you Thursday seeing Dip has aproved the colour of your car:)
  21. Thats a great price at $2000. Unfortunately a lot of UK traders would turn that into £2000 for some reason. So out of our reach.
  22. Abbey are very knowledgable and good guys, no doubt, but I question the logic of phoning someone who wants to make money out of you to ask them what they recommend you do to your car ......... Every benefit as they advised me not to buy them and save my money as I am not a F1 driver!!
  23. This game of tic tac toe is my fault, I put my hands up! Scott advised me not to buy the pulleys, and often advises me not to waste my money on trinkets if they do not work. Not once has he tried to sell me a different product just for the sake of making money. I was down there again today and they did not charge for work carried out on the car! Anyway this is Arrans thread and as a new member we should be encouraging him not arguing amongst ourselves! Now moving on:)
